MyAura Rose Vanilla & Jasmine Antiperspirant Spray

This smells so divine! The fragrance is a very natural-smelling rose floral that is subtlety sweet and not artificial at all. However, as much as I adore the fragrance, I feel that this would be more appropriately classed as a body spray. I am not a heavy sweater, but this spray failed to perform as an antiperspirant. It may work in the cooler months, but I can’t imagine who this would work for as an antiperspirant in the warmer months, unfortunately. I would recommend it, but only as a fragrance/body spray.

This is a spray deodorant which I haven’t used in a long time. I prefer to use a roll on or natural paste as I don’t like sprays as much because I find i inhale it as I put it on and that impacts my sinuses all day. I don’t personally love a floral scent but this smells very nice and fresh it’s a light rose scent that wasn’t overpowering. It dries quickly and didn’t cause any irritation on my skin. I unfortunately didn’t find it stoped me from smelling though out the day and I needed to put more on by lunch. I do have very active days. I love that it’s a natural deodorant that is Australian made and has some really great ingredients in it. I’d definitely recommend giving it a try especially if you’re looking for something that’s more natural.

It’s always good to come across a new Australian-owned brand. I have never heard of this brand of deodorant, but I did like the fact that it is aluminum-free, and also contains no environmentally unfriendly palm oil and other nasties. It has some nice ingredients like aloe vera and probiotics, as well as rose and geranium essential oils. Some people react badly to essential oils but fortunately I don’t and do enjoy using them. On using the product, a spray deodorant with rose, vanilla and jasmine, the first scent that stood out was alcohol, the main ingredient, followed by quite a strong rosy scent. You can’t smell much, if anything, of vanilla or jasmine and obviously if you didn’t like rose you would not be likely to enjoy this deodorant. Fortunately, I love a rose scent, so I was very happy to use this one. In spite of having no aluminum I found this deodorant to be quite effective, and lasted through the day, with no tell-tale odour breaking through by end of the day, an issue I have found with some other natural deodorants. It was quite comfortable to wear too – no stinging or irritation, I was careful to follow the guidelines and didn’t use after shaving. I really did like the fact that Myaura is readily available at supermarkets like Coles and Woolworths, so you can pick it up with the groceries, and for a very low price. This item will definitely land in my basket next time I need a deodorant. I would definitely recommend it to someone who wants a natural product at a great price and enjoys a rose scent.

Good natural based ingredients and no known nasties in the formula. Spray is easy to apply. Scent not something I would go for, not a fan of geranium in anything at all. Not liking the scent blend. This is not an anti prespirant. Just a deodorizing spray with geranium based scent. Does not prevent body odour bacteria from growing and getting whiffy. I feel the scent for an hour or two, then it goes away luckily. But the formula does not work at all as what it is marketed to do. I just liked the spray bottle really and no nasties formula. But for me, useless product.

This is an Australian made anti-perspirant spray that has natural fragrance from essential oils and plant extracts. The result is a very pleasant scent that isn't overpowering or 'fake'. The combination of rose, jasmine and vanilla is feminine without being too sweet or coy. I generally use roll-ons but found this spray was very convenient. It dries quickly after spraying so you don't have to wait ages before putting your top on. I also don't need to worry about product contamination with a spray and can conveniently re-apply in the middle of the day. Compared to my other natural deodorants, this offered longer protection. It doesn't last through a sweaty gym session but for most days it does the trick. The bottle design is minimalist and elegant. I really like this and glad that I got to try it through BeautyCrew. It's inexpensive for a good quality product - It comes in a decent sized 125ml bottle and retails at $11 at supermarkets. I will definitely repurchase for everyday use.

Thank you to Beauty Crew and My Aura for the opportunity to trial the My Aura Natural Rose, Vanilla and Jasmine Antiperspirant. I initially was worried that I may be the very worst person to select for this trial. I have been using the one type of deodorant for years, am completely happy with it, and have not been considering changing the brand. In the past, whenever I tried another deodorant I hated the results and quickly discarded the product. So I wasn’t expecting much from this product. I was wrong! The antiperspirant is comprised of natural ingredients (Aloe Vera, Probiotics, Horsetail extract, Kakadu plum extract, Kangaroo Paw flower extract, Rose flower oil, Jasmin flower extract, Vanilla bean extract) and contains no aluminium, which is one thing I insist on. It is a clear liquid which comes in a generous 125 ml spray bottle, fairly attractive to look at, but a bit messy to use. Initially the lid to the spray bottle got stuck on the sprayer and the product leaked, but even afterwards I found it difficult to control how much spray came out. I found myself holding my breath, spraying and then running to another part of the unit. The scent is lovely. The rose and jasmine can be clearly identified – the vanilla hides underneath. More surprisingly, the scent on my skin does last. I could still smell it hours later and it made my tops smell nice too. However, it is not overpowering and I could easily wear my perfume as well. Although it is advertised as an antiperspirant, I didn’t find this product stopped me from perspiring. I was still very wet under my arms when I got hot, but I did not have body odour. In fact, I found this to be a very effective deodorant on my body. The effect lasted all day and even my clothes smelled fresh. As I am not keen on antiperspirants and prefer to use deodorants, this was a big plus in my view. I liked the fact that the liquid dried into my skin instead of drying out my skin, or remaining a sticky messy on top of my skin. I did not find the product irritated my skin, as many antiperspirants do. Would I replace my current deodorant for this one? Probably not, but only for one reason. I hate inhaling spray products and prefer a roll on. If you bottled it into a roll on, I’d be happy to use any time. Would I recommend this to others? Definitely! I would encourage anyone who is looking for a deodorant rather than an antiperspirant to try this. I don’t think you will be disappointed.

I really liked the MyAura Rose Vanilla & Jasmine Antiperspirant Spray. It has a feminine and light smell to it, and is made from natural ingredients, including aloe vera and Kakadu Plum, which is meant to keep your skin soft, smooth and healthy. It also contains Probiotics and essential oils and is 100% Australian owned and made which is amazing. I liked the way this product felt and the smell was light and gentle enough to use after my shower right before bed, as sometimes I find the regular deodorants to overpowering. My only negative comment would be I workout pretty hard most days (HITT workouts), and I didn’t find the deodorant to be strong enough to not make me a little smelly by the end of the workout, but for every day use and light workouts, I will definitely keep buying and using this product.

This antiperspirant spray smells quite sweet and feminine. I like the combination of its jasmine and rose scents, which are very pleasant and suitable for spring and summer days. What I like the most is the aluminium free and natural ingredients claims, that made me feel that comparing to other mainstream products, this one is safer for everyday use and it should be more friendly and natural to my skin. It is good to know that the spray is made in Australia and 100% Australian owned. I will continue using it in future.
