Maybelline New York Total Temptation Mascara

I read the hype regarding this particular Maybelline mascara and lucky for me I picked this product up at my local Woolworths Supermarket at half price - How could I resist? The mascara presents in a peachy pink tube with a twist opening. The brush is plump and bristly and loaded with product, I actually don't like the smell of the product and as I have sensitive eyes was worried I could have a reaction. The colour black is rich, deep and glossy and not too thick. I appreciated the ease with which it applied, no clumps and lumps and the mascara coated every lash. I didn't get any fabulous lengthening or curling so it gave a very basic look to my sad lashes. It removed quickly and easily and stayed put through the day. This is a decent mascara but not one that I would purchase again as I didn't get the result I was hoping for.

This mascara was so wonderful to use. It lengthened my eyelashes so well and made them full and long! This mascara also did not flake off during the day or leave any marks under my eye. It was easy to remove with eye makeup removed at the end of the day too. Would recommend to anyone. 

really nice packaging but not my favourite maybelline mascara. The wand is nice a rounded although it felt too dry to really coat the lashes. It’s nice for a no makeup makeup day perhaps. But day to day i’m Looking for a long lasting more wet formula. Not my favourite but not the worst I’ve tried

I’m usually a big fan of maybelline mascaras but this one wasn’t fabulous. The color was great and the product was buildable but it was very thick and clumpy. I’m not sure if that is more the brush or the actual product but I scrape it before using it.

I loved this mascara! It went on smoothly and it didn’t make my eyelashes clump together. It stayed on all day and (if I’m honest) all night and I didn’t wake up looking like a panda. I would highly recommend this to anyone in the market for a new mascara.

This is my favourite product in the Total Temptations trio, and is one of the best mascaras I've used in recent years. I have naturally long, dark lashes so primarily need my mascara to add volume & definition - though a bit of extra length is more than welcome too!  As I am in my 50's, I do notice my lashes are not as naturally prominent as they used to be, so I do rely on my mascara a lot. This great multi-taskng mascara ticks all the boxes for me. The colour is a rich, vibrant shade of black and the formula is buildable, making this both office appropriate & suitable for nighttime glamour lashes. The brush design is spot-on - neither too big, nor small, and definitely not weirdly designed. I like that Maybelline have used a "classic" mascara wand for this mascara. The mascara applies smoothly, minus clumps, smudging or flaking. This also means it applies quickly, whuch is always a bonus for me when I'm time poor. I can apply numerous coats without my lashes looking clumped or fake. I've been very happy with the results everytime I use it. It removes easily without harsh rubbing or scrubbing. This outperforms mascaras I've tried that cost twice the price. What a bargain! I'll definitely be buying this repeatedly in the future.

Really liked the packaging and the intensity of the colour, but found there was a lot of fallout during the day and the brush was a little too large for my eye shape and therefore, it was hard to control the application. The mascara is a good price point though!

This mascara Glides on easily and has a beautiful smell. It Layers easily for fuller and plumper lashes without getting clumpy. Is a bit difficult to remove in the morning (panda effect) compared to others I’ve used but I would still buy it anyway. It’s a great every day product. ii is a really great everyday mascara. It goes on smoothly, without clumping or over overloading your lashes, which makes it perfect for throwing on as you're rushing out the door to get to work. I found that it dried quickly and didn't smudge throughout the day, which was great. Finally, it removes easily with a little cream cleanser (and no scrubbing!), saving your eyes from being rubbed red and raw like with other mascaras.

I am amazed at this mascara, from the colour pigmentation it gives to my lashes, washable, non clumpy, and easy to apply! I absolutely love the packaging too, pretty pink  I don't usually buy non waterproof mascara because of their smell. But this Maybelline total temptation is a real deal! Doesn't have strange smell, brush is a big big for my short lashes but it curls my lashes well. I love it. Definitely recommend it to everyone already eventho it is not in Australia yet. 10/10 quality, quantity and packaging! Love it! 

I thought this mascara was good. I liked the packaging - plain but cute. I like my lashes to look big and stand out, but not look clumpy... I thought this mascara did a good job of that - it made my lashes look big without any clumps or making them all stick together. I used multiple coats, which I do with every mascara I use.  For the price point I think this is a good buy! Would recommend.  Thank you to Maybelline and Beauty Crew for allowing me to trial the new Total Temptation mascara in Blackest Black.

I’ve been a Maybelline mascara for years and this did live up to the standards I’ve become accustomed. Loving the packaging and the smell of the product. Looks and feels luxurious. I found this a great everyday mascara opposed to giving a showstoping bambi effect. Would recommend to anyone with long lashes to begin with

This Mascara came in lovely packaging which made me very excited to try it. As soon as I opened it I could smell the vanilla scent.  The mascara went on well and performed like some other high end products I have trialed before.  As an extra bonus, when removing it didn’t sting of it got in your eyes a little bit like some mascaras tend to do.

I desperately needed a new mascara and Maybelline have hit the jackpot! This mascara goes on so easily and looks so natural! It can be built up easily to achieve a heavier look if needed. It also removes easily when I use a micellar water wipe. No flaking and no clumping, I’m sold!!!

This mascara has instantly made it into my daily make up rotation thanks to its impressive thickening, curling, and lash-lengthening prowess. It doesn't clump nor is it flakey. It gives an effortless slightly dramatic look that's not too OTT for every day wear, but it could definitely work for a heavier look too. The packaging is beautiful too. Very on trend, with a matte baby pink tube that's reminiscent of KKW. This is a mascara I will definitely be purchasing once my first tube runs out.

I was really excited to receive this product in the mail. When I did receive it, I was completely amazed at the quality of the mascara! It was great at creating volume  and separating the lashes! The packaging of the product is really cute too! Would totally repurchase this product!

I was not overly impressed with this mascara, I found it to be flaky and would only hold for a couple of hours. Other than that it was easy enough to apply and a few coats did definitely give my lashes some oomph. I found that while it seperate my lashes it was also quite fiddle to make sure the smaller ones actually got coated fullly.

Was so looking forward to this trial and it didn't disappoint!!!! The mascara is really lovely!! It not only looks cute but smells so good too!!! I love that you can apply just a lil to give you lovely lashes or go over a few times for a dramatic look!!!! The brush is incredible and easy to use! It's not flakey or cakey and I'll be switching to this one from now on!!

I really like this mascara, first of all the packaging is really nice, it’s a pale pink tube and is different to most other mascara packaging.  It’s also really easy to apply, it’s not clumpy and leaves your lashes looking naturally fuller and more voluminous. It was easy to build it up with more layers to make it more intense.  I like this type of mascara because it gives a fluffy look to your lashes without being clumpy and it doesn’t flake or smudge which I also really like.  I would recommend this as an everyday mascara and I would buy this again.
