Maybelline New York Superstay Teddy Tint

I was Lucky enough to get to try 2 different shades of the Superstay teddy tint, And I have to say I’m quite impressed, it actually stays on all day with zero smudging or transfer onto things, And I didn’t find it to feel too dry or Tacky throughout the day , i didn’t even need too reapply at all. after the first 10 minutes it’s a little sticky but dried completely after that, I found I liked it applied thin and i smudged it out vs a thick application though they both looked lovely even after a full day wear, They both removed quite easily also, I just used my face wash and it came right off no scrubbing required, I would definitely recommend Superstay teddy tint

I received this product to trial as part of the reviewcrew. At first glance, I thought the packaging is quite cute, however upon closer inspection, it doesn't contain a lot of product, unfortunately! I liked the colours that I received - '80 Keep It Cozy' and '15 Skinnydip', I feel they would be suitable universal shades for a wide range of skin tones. I myself have fair cool toned skin and find it hard to find good lip colours that suit me. I found the colour doesn't last very long on the lips, however, which is both a good and bad thing I guess. I.e. isn't a pain to remove, but requires reapplication a few times throughout the day. The texture is somewhat powdery and tacky, however it does dry down over about a 15 min period and doesn't feel too drying on the lips. I feel like these are a great everyday lip colour and I would consider purchasing myself as I did overall enjoy trialling this product.

My expectations for this product didn’t quite hit the mark, I’m not sure if the word ‘tint’ threw me off, but I had assumed it would be a much thinner, lighter and liquidy product that would appear more subtle, however I was very wrong. The formula seems to be a rather typical semi matte finish liquid lipstick, it was a bit too heavy for me and had no idea how to make it work for a blush without it coming off to strong and a little awkward, that being said though the product did seem to where quite well without becoming patchy but did leave my lips a bit dry but slightly tacky at the same time whenever a beverage was consumed and stayed that way for a fair while before dissipating. The product itself was easy to apply but from the first swipe the scent didn’t sit right, it just smelled like chemicals and wax to me, like I had tried using kids art supplies as make up and the taste that came with any mouth movement wasn’t pleasant. I see this working for some, but for me it missed the mark.

The packaging and product was pretty and something you can easily pop in your bag and go. Product colour sent was not a shade that I would usual find suited my skin tones however the product itself was highly pigmented lip tint and the colour went on smoothly. The applicator was nice to use and assured the application of the product even. The product did leave a slightly tacky residue while waiting for it to completely dry and during this time it would smudge easily which did take about 6-8 minutes to dry. When building up the product this was easy to do however you did need to wait the time between laying for it to dry.

I'm very impressed by this product. It is exceptionally easy to use, especially as someone who prefers lip balms to lipstick. It goes on wet and dries fairly quickly. You can very easily layer it (or not) so you can have a spot of colour, or colour that is more striking and built up. I found that, to my surprise, it actually stayed on for a large portion of the day. This was surprising to me because even the most stay-proof lipsticks I've tried don't do that. It definitely depended on what I was doing (eating, drinking etc) as to how long it stayed on, but the staying power was pretty intense. Another thing I really liked was the shape of the bottle - the curves make it feel more comfortable to hold when applying than more angular products. I loved using it every morning - it felt like a bit of a luxury. I would highly recommend this product, especially to people like myself who are generally a bit more lipstick-averse and prefer balms, because this one goes on like a balm. Once it dries, you can put lip balm over it to make it a bit shinier.

I was really excited to try Maybelline's new Teddy Tint, being a big fan of neutral my-lips-but-better shades that I can wear casually, at work and on date nights. The colour skinny dip is a light brownish rose, and on application felt light in texture. It took a few minutes to dry down matte, and after that stayed on quite well throughout the day even with lots of drinks and food! I also loved it as a cute pick me up colour on my cheeks with only a few small dabs across the cheek, I can create a monotone pink look across my lips and eyes!

I love the packaging. It feels a bit boujee. I tried two colours. I didnt love the Keep it Cozy colour as it was a bit too brown for me and felt it really aged me. Skinny Pink was pretty though, a nice soft pale pink. I have dry lips and felt Teddy Tint exacerbated the dryness. I needed to wear a really moisturising lip balm underneath. I like the applicator and felt the package would help up well being tossed in a handbag and carried around all day for touch ups. My tween step daughter loved it and puckering and pouting her lips in the mirror each time she wore it.

I’ve been searching for a long stay lip colour and finally I’ve found it. Superstay Teddy Tint lasts all day, and was so easy to add to my routine. This tint is precise eliminating the need for lip liner and layer it for deeper depth of colour and top with a gloss. Teddy goes soft and smooth, it sets quickly without being sticky. The colours available are so cute and natural, it’s difficult to find a pallet that suits my everyday as well as weekends. Maybelline Teddy Tiny is a fantastic addition to my makeup morning and as soon as I tried it I had to tell my sisters.

These look and feel like a luxury cosmetic product. They glide onto the lips with a lovely texture that has a moisturising quality. As someone who prefers lip balm to lipstick especially in the day, I loved using these to pop subtle colour on during the day, just one coat provides the perfect colour and lasts hours. This product is also great when built up providing a more prominent colour for a more glam evening look. Who doesn’t love a multi-purpose product, I loved using these as a blush, and the texture was reminiscent of a Charlotte tilbury lip and cheek tint. I really love the colour skinny dip and would recommend to anyone who is looking to add a colour to their lips who is weary of wearing a lipstick.

I really enjoyed this product because the formula is beautiful when applied. It's a soft mousse texture with a very light scent. The colour pay-off is buildable and is true to colour. A few comments have suggested the formula is a bit of the drier side, this is true however if you base and prep your lips with a balm, it can wear a bit more comfortably during the day. I wore this for a few hours and didn't need to top it off, but I did top up with lip balm. Packaging is a nice matte feel, true to it's colour pay-off with a nice soft applicator. A nice addition could have been a sharper tip for precision application, or a lip liner can also do the trick. Excited to try out the other colours!

The Maybelline Superstay Teddy Tint came beautifully packaged in a cute matte bottle. Only a little of the product comes out when you pull the applicator out, but a little goes a long way! The Teddy Tint glides on very smoothly and glides onto the lips. I was very impressed with the colour pigment as it enhanced my natural lip colour. In saying this, I found the product quite tacky on the lips, and the sticky feeling didn't go away. I did find the colour did fade a little throughout the day and a touch up was required. This is a very easy to wear, simple, everyday lip tint, that doesn't break the bank and a lip tint I would consider buying again in the future!

I was very excited to get my hands on these stunning new tints from Maybelline! The packaging is unique and lux looking for a drug store product. I was unsure what texture to expect when I opened it up but I was surprised by a lightweight almost moussy feeling product that is very user friendly. It’s buildable coverage makes it an ideal product for a light was of sheer colour or a more opaque coverage with a few swipes, either way the colour and feel is beautiful! This product lasts and wears quite well, I find wear time decreases a little with a gloss overtop but either way I am very happy with the results! The colour selection is beautiful and very wearable and seems to be the perfect colours for everyday wear. I love that Maybelline is stepping up with beautiful and unique new products with, fantastic new packaging and I look forward to many more new and exciting things moving forward from Maybelline! I have yet to try these in my cheeks as a tint but feeling how lightweight the formula is I assume there would be no issue with being easy to apply and blend out. I would be happy to recommend these beautiful tints to my clients and friends!

I was sent two shades of this product to try and review. First, I want to thank Maybelline and Beauty Crew for being really Australia-forward with this one! When I first got notified, I googled the product and could barely find any information, which signified it was a very new release. Australia so often gets beauty releases behind other markets, so I'm really impressed and pleased with giving us a go at being first to trial and review! I was sent the shades 15 Skinny Dip - a pinky brown colour - and 80 Keep It Cozy- a more reddy-brown colour. Both colours are more muted, likely to suit more natural tones. This vibes with the "Teddy" name - the idea that these are like flesh-toned slip-on colours. The packaging is 10/10 - beautifully tactile and shaped like a comfy pillow. In terms of the formula - I found it somewhat strange at first. I was applying it like a liquid lipstick, in bolder strokes. It then felt very tacky - putting my lips together felt like gluing them together! This is where the "tint" comes in. This product is more inspired by the Asian trend of "blurred" lips. You don't need lots of layers, as it works best as an enhancing colour for your natural lip tone. In fact, you might even prefer to apply or at least blend it with a finger, to get that blurred look. The tackiness is still there, but less with less product. And the good thing is once it dries down, the tackiness goes away and it has decent staying power. It also fades nicely because of that blurring style, so you avoid the dreaded inner-ring wear-off effect of liquid lipsticks. I think this product is going to be better in warmer weather, particularly for those who might want more of a colour than a lip gloss or oil. The only reason I gave this three instead of four stars is that it does take a little bit of a learning curve, and it has a smell I found a bit overpowering. But that's personal preference; your mileage may vary. Overall, I'm really pleased I got to try this product and really applaud Maybelline for expanding their ranges and formulas.

I tried the Maybelline New York Superstay Teddy Tint. Overall, I liked the product and would definitely recommend it for someone who is looking for a buildable lip tint. I also like that it’s versatile and can be used as a blush. The packaging is beautiful, and I love the feel of the product packaging too. The applicator feels nice and soft on my lips. I’ve noticed others mentioning a tacky feeling, however I suffer from dry lips and always apply lip balm before any lip product, so I didn’t notice the tacky feeling. The colour definitely darkens once it dries. The tint was quite easy to remove (although this may be because I applied lip balm first) As far as drugstore makeup goes, I think this is a good product and would recommend this.

Love this versatile new product by Maybelline. It's got this creamy smooth consistency and works wonderfully as a lipstick and cheek tint. The colour lasts for a few hours making it a perfect choice for my daily look. The colour is build able, so you can use it differently based on your preference. I did expect it to be a bit hydrating given the consistency but I didn't feel it was. Shade number 15 is my favourite as it compliments my undertone well! This has become an essential part of my handbag now.

Lip tint is usually a big miss for me as I find it peels off and leaves my lips looking flaky! I was pleasantly surprised by Teddy Tint, no flaking!! The colour lasted and there was no transfer when drinking etc I work in a job where I am talking all day and was amazed that the colour was still present after hours of talking and sipping on water. This was a big plus as I didn't have to constantly reapply throughout the day, the colour stayed looking fresh and there was no bleeding or transference to my teeth! As a busy working Mum it was wonderful to have a product I could pop on in the morning and not worry about. The colour was not my usual choice but I actually really liked it. I find tints are often very dry on my lips but this tint didn't leave my lips feeling dry or flaky at all. I would love to try some other shades. The packaging was really nice and the product was very easy to apply. It was a win for me.

Maybelline New York Superstay Teddy Tint is one of the comfortable matte lip tint that I have tried so far. The packaging is gorgeous and the colour that I received is nude and perfect for my skin tint. As it is matte lip tint, I always try to moisturise my lip first, prior to putting the lip tint. The doe applicator is perfect to draw that sharp lip shape, and there is no weird smell. The colour last around 4 hours for me, and that is with drinking my coffee constantly and through lunch time. It can be a bit drying, however it is not as drying as other matte lipstick. All in all, if I want a matte lip tint that is comfortable, I would definitely grab Maybelline New York Super stay Teddy Tint.
