Maybelline New York Firework Mascara

This Mascara is my favourite to go to for a day look or when I want something more subtle or natural looking. I really like that there are lots of fine bristles and that the brush is made from silicon so the bristles spread your lashes really nicely which is what I like the most. It's doesn't build up too thickly or cause any clumping like other mascaras commonly do. This is a product that i would recommend to people who are looking to lengthen and fan out their lashes a bit in a day to day look, or to anybody who prefers a more subtle, natural look. The product itself is lightweight and I don't feel like it weighs my lashes down

I have been trialing Maybelline New York Firework Mascara Black colour for a few weeks now. So far so good. I like its consistency and the colour. The texture is light, but it covers all of my eye lashes. The wand is made of silicone, which makes it flexible and easy to apply in unreachable places like the corners of the eyes. The only thing is the stopper is too qide, so when you take the wand out of the tube, it still leaves a lot of product on the wand. And also during the day mascara does fall and leaves marks on the lower eye lid. I also would have expected it to make me eyelashes more voluminous and curly, but it did not.

I recently tried the pink, bubbly and fun new Maybelline Firework Mascara, and I need to say it’s now part of my every day make up routine, for some reasons! To start with, the package is so pretty in this vibrant pink Barbie colour, and its shape is really cute too! Very easy to spot in my makeup bag! The brush is small and delicate, which makes it easy to coat all your lashes without clumping, which I love! Formula wise, I found it very light and thin, yet effective in adding length to my lashes - I couldn’t see too much of volume change, but it definitely added some length to my short lashes! Another positive about the formula is that it’s buildable, allowing you to wear just a coat for an everyday effortless look or you can add multiple coats for that more dramatic look!

I enjoyed the formulation of the product itself, I found it gave a dramatic black colour and had no issues with it running, smudging, or transferring to my eyelid (I have hooded eyes so this is often a concern). The packaging also felt nice to use. My main problem was with the wand shape. For my eye type, I found it just wasn't giving me the separation and definition I want in my lashes. I would need to comb through them afterwards to remove clumping. I tried the formula out with a wand from a different mascara and loved the effect it gave in that instance.

I trialled this mascara and absolutely loved it, and will defiantly be repurchasing!! The brush has a great design, so I don’t have to take off heaps of product before application, it has the perfect amount when opening. I curled my lashes then applied it, and was extremely pleased that only a single layer gave me extra length as well as defining each individual eyelash!! I have a section where my lashes also face down, and it kept them up and looking great throughout the day as well. I love the packaging, it’s easy to find in my makeup bag, and it’s a great price!!

Maybelline's Firework Mascara is a decent choice for those seeking to enhance their eyelashes. It successfully makes the eyes appear darker and the lashes look significantly longer, delivering on its promise of a dramatic effect. However, it falls short in terms of application. If you don't mind spending a bit of extra time to work through the clumps, it can still provide a striking look, but it might not be the best option for those seeking a hassle-free mascara experience.

Was happy to be part of the trial for this mascara as I use it everyday. Nicely packaged in a bright pink tube and nice thick tube. Mascara was very black and applied really well at first but once the brush got full of product you could barely see the bristles as they were very short. This made the brush more like a club and made applying the mascara difficult as you couldn’t separate the lashes. The mascara one applied performed very well, no smudging or flaking and it stayed all day. Was easy to remove and didn’t cause any sensitivity. If they improved the brush this mascara would be my go to but disappointed in the stubby brush

I was not overly impressed with this mascara. It contine to leak onto my face throughout the day. Even after applying setter. It was also very difficult to apply without having lumps. It seems to thicken my lashes so much it looks like one smart blump with no volume or clarity. Throughout the day it eventually all came off. I used it once and probably will not use it again. Very dissapointing. i usually love Maybelline and their products usually suits my need and skin. The only positive thing I can say about this product is the bright pink tub. The design was amazing and it was easily to find in my collection.

It is so-so for me. I like the packaging and the brush. The brush is really bendy and can easily reach the corners of the eye however it lacks the volume that i expected it will give. From the name itself, firework, i thought my eyelashes would look fanned out and volumised but i was disappointed. Though it helped in making it look longer but fell short of my expectation. Maybe i should wait for it to hardened a bit as the formula is a bit watery. It also clumps up when i apply multiple layers so i am really not sure.

You know when you are searching in the bottom of your beauty bag for the product you need? If you have this mascara, it can always be found!! What an amazing mascara! The packaging is a super vibrant pink. The wand is wonderful. It helps to define each of the eyelashes and applies the product without clumps, unlike other brush designs that I find transfer too much product and leave you fixing things with a spoolie. I would say it provides more length rather than volume but in saying that, it still makes my lashes look great. I can confirm it's also long lasting like promised! I live in a humid environment and this mascara holds up well in the elements. It's definetely a product I would get again!

This is a great mascara, especially for the price. The brush itself is thicker and not really tapered at all. However, I still found it easy to use, even when getting to my inner lash corner. The product itself is great. It takes a little while to dry down, giving plenty of time to work it through lashes, providing a great even coat. Even after one coat, there was clear volume and definition. Addition coats enhanced this even more. After 12+ hours wear, there was no flaking or smudging. The product was still visible and lasted well. Would recommend this as a great budget mascara. I will continue to use.

This product helps to give a dark and lengthened-lash look. My eyelashes are stubborn and usually don’t respond as well as I would like to mascaras, but I did find this product to work better than most others I’ve tried in terms of lifting my lashes. I personally prefer to use a bit less product on my lashes and I found the shorter bristles on the wand to be a bit tricky to do that, and also a bit more prone to clumping. However, I would say these little things were worth it for the long-lasting results I got. The mascara was also easy to remove which was a plus. Overall I was impressed and will continue to use as my go-to mascara.

When it comes to drugstore mascaras that deliver impressive results, the Maybelline New York Firework mascara stands out. It gave me long-lasting wear, and easily maintained its hold throughout the day without smudging. A single coat was enough to achieve a dramatic effect, providing significant lift and volume to lashes. The formula enhanced my natural lashes, making them appear fuller and more defined with minimal effort. The only reason I gave it four stars rather than five was because I found the wand initially hard to use, you need to swipe the excess product off although I still felt it gets a little clumpy. That does somehow seem to go away though. For an affordable option that doesn’t compromise on performance, this mascara is a top choice.

I have been trialling this mascara for a few weeks and it is my new go to! The formula is quite wet which means you have to wait a little before you do the second coat however combined with the brush I have not been getting clumpy lashes. The main benefit I have noticed is that I have not been getting black smudges above my eyes during the day, which a colleague actually noticed first. It stays well all day and does not flake. Will continue to use and most likely repurchase. Bonus to the beautiful pink packaging which would stand out in store!

I was excited to try this mascara as I'm a big fan of Maybelline products, so when I received this product, I was excited to try it. However, after a couple of weeks' use, I'm still not sure what to make of it! The packaging is really funky and definitely makes it stand out on the display. Some of the pros are - The formula is silky, buildable and very pigmented. It doesn’t smudge and my lashes still look great after a long day. It's nice and black; it's buildable; it doesn't dry out my lashes; it's pretty easy to remove. Cons: It's a very big, bulky tube; the brush is really odd - I can't seem to get it to grip my lashes, and it's really messy to use (see pic showing the state of the tube after just a couple of weeks); it feels very 'wet' going on. In summary, I don't enjoy applying it, but when I check my appearance at the end of the day, my lashes do look pretty good - longer, thicker and darker.

I was excited to try this mascara due to Maybelline's mascara reputation, and this product did not disappoint. Easy to apply, great lasting power, I did not have panda eyes by the end of the day, and is easy to take off with micellar water or cleanser. It may not be the best mascara on the market, but if you are looking into purching a Maybelline mascara this is one to definitely try.

The Maybelline Lash Sensational Firework mascara delivers intense length and volume to your lashes. It has a clump-resistant gel formula which creates a nice lift to your lashes that makes them fluttery and lasts for up to 24 hours. It is infused with pro-vitamin B5 so it nourishes your lashes while delivery an intense jet black colour. While it claims to be smudge-proof I did find that it flaked a bit thtoughout the day. However, I absolutely loved the unique brush which was super flexible and bendy. This helped it to separate and curl each lash for a wonderfully fanned out finish.

A quick application of this mascara has me eyelashes covered for a full day of wear. I don’t allow too much time in the mornings to get ready, a quick application is all I need. I like a light coverage and with 3-4 strokes on each set of my eyelashes they are flared, slightly curved and coated this addresses my lash concerns as they are generally long but straight. I have found I need to give them a little brush with my lash spoodle if I go over the same area more than once but that is no biggie for me as I usually don’t like to do multiple coats. At the end of the day I use makeup up remover to remove this before cleansing as it lasts all day without smudging or wearing fully off. I like the curved end of the wand as it makes all of my lashes from corner to corner easily accessible this would now be a preference in wand type for me. For easy of use, long wear, good in price and the look of my flared slightly curved lashes I would repurchase and recommend it to my family and friends.

I wasn’t overly impressed with this mascara after using it for a couple of weeks. While it lasted the whole day with no crumbling I had to do multiple coats to get my lashes to look a bit longer due to the rubber bristles being too short to fully cover them with the mascara, which caused a bit of clumping that I had to fix. The flexible rubber application tip is different from what I’m used to but it wasn’t hard to get the hang of. The mascara was easy to wash off with my normal facial cleanser and I do like the twist and click design of the lid so it can’t open accidentally. The bright pink tube is easy to spot and the lid felt comfortable in my hand while using. If they modified the application tip I’d buy this because otherwise it was a great product.
