Maybelline New York Expert Tools™ Dual Sharpener

This is a brilliant sharpener, I adore maybelline. This allows me to precisely sharpen both my lip and eye pencils and the dual carriages mean I can do both my thin and thick pencils, including crayons with ease all in the one tool. I love the handy snap off top to collect shavings, ingenious, this means no mess or fuss, I simply empty it when it's full. This sharpener is really high quality so it will last me a long time. The precision crafted blades give a nice sharp point to my pencils allowing me to get a really precise result. This is a great addition to my makeup bag and I can see no negatives, I highly recommend this product.

I came across this sharpener in my local supermarket pre-getting ready for Friday night. When I saw it I immediately thought that it might fit my NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencils and my NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils - i hadn't sharpened either of them since I bought them because I couldn't find a sharpener that would fit them! I instantly bought it and lo and behold - it fit them! The blades themselves are really sharp and sharpen the pencils so easily - amazing quality for such a reasonably priced product. It also don't shave too much product off, but just enough to get a perfect tip. I love that I don't need to buy a second sharpener now, because it fits both big and small pencils (with a removable piece in the big pencil slot to accomodate for jumbo pencils!). I've owned this sharpener for approximately 3 years now and the blades have never blunted, which is a testament to it's quality! It hasn't cracked either, which can happen with a lot of sharpeners. The clear detachable lid is also fantastic, as it traps the shavings - which is great for when I'm in a rush in the mornings and don't want to be cleaning up shavings off my vanity. It is a bit hard to get product out of the crevices though - but I find that an earbud and some hoat soapy water take it all out and leave it clean as a whistle. Overall I'm really impressed with this sharpener and would happily repurchase it and recommend it to anyone looking for a sharpener that fits ALL the pencils in their collection.

I use Kohl pencils and need to have a lovely point to use them properly and found the Maybelline New York Expert Tools™ Dual Sharpener does the job beautifully.  The blades are very durable, l have owned mine for several years it certainly does not need replacing, the blades are still sharp and l get lovely point on my pencils. The covers on the bottom and top of the sharpener means there is no mess with the shavings it is all contained, the cover can easily removed to empty the shavings into the rubbish bin. Considering how long this Maybelline New York Expert Tools™ Dual Sharpener lasts, it's money is well spent.

I have been using this sharpener for years and the blades are still very sharp and working well. My only problem with it is that some pencils don't fit in very well in the smaller sharpener and i am unable to get a very sharp point at the end. However, it is great value for money, and very durable.

I was sick of using two not so great sharpeners when I came across Maybelline New York Expert Tools Dual Sharpener.  It is hard to get excited over a sharpener but this one makes my lip and eye pencils feel like they are brand new again.     It has a clear bottom, black middle and clear click top making it easy to empty. Maybelline has taken this dual sharpener to the next level because you can remove the silver ring out of large side to make an even larger size. I can now sharpen all of my standard, medium and chubby sized pencils with the same sharpener.   The cutting blades are extremely sharp and slice finely reducing the waste, I am left with a perfect tip every time. I would recommend Maybelline New York Expert Tools Dual Sharpener; it’s the cheapest and best sharpener I have ever used.     Pros: Fits every pencil I own Easy to clean No mess Easy to use Compact Inexpensive and works brilliantly   Cons: None
