Maui Moisture Lightweight Curls + Flaxseed Conditioner

Ok, now this impressed me! I wasn’t so sure of the shampoo because it felt like any other but this - the conditioner is beautiful! Packaging - tick. Made it easy to dispense. Great ingredients list like the Shampoo - tick. This is a creamy milky texture and I left this on my ends for a few minutes and wow. I’ve never had a conditioner make my hair feel so hydrated. Bonus, like the Shampoo it didn’t weigh my hair down afterwards. Scent is also quite fresh too. Definitely would recommend and I’ll be repurchasing this!

I was so excited to have received this in the I couldn't wait to trial this on my dry, frizzy and brittle curly hair. Good value for money for the size of the product and upon first use my hair was nice and soft which I was impressed on seeing this kind of result from early usage. After regular use my hair felt softer and my curls started to look tighter, more defined and less frizzy also less breakage! The conditioner isn't heavy so nice to leave-in for a couple of minutes and the smell is lovely, pleasant and also organic which is nice to know I'm using that's more environmentally friendlier.

I was so excited to try the Maui lightweight curls range because I had just started using the Maui brand at home myself. I have thin, wavy hair for reference. I really loved that the range has no silicones and parabens as well. I used the shampoo and conditioner for about a month and I wash my hair roughly twice a week. I found the shampoo really did clean my hair without stripping it too much, as soon as I put the conditioner in my hair was more soft and manageable. Both the products smell amazing, and leave my hair smelling of coconut, even my boyfriend commented. Overall my hair is more soft and manageable, and my curls are less frizzy and more softly defined. I will continue to use the Maui range now as I really like the improvement in my hair

I love this conditioner! After using this and the coordinating shampoo, my curls have never looked shinier, bouncier or more refreshed. As any curly haired gal knows, it is super difficult to find a conditioner which doesn’t glug up your ends and make it feel like your strands are being held down so as to not be frizzy. This conditioner leaved my curls hydrated and sealed to keep my curls well-formed and bouncy. It also smells like summer! I would highly recommend to anyone who has been searching for 'the one' conditioner for their curly hair and who wants to embrace their natural 'do rather than facing the burning tongs. I've found mine!

This conditioner comes in quite cute packaging - I like the fact it is more square, as it makes it easy to grub onto in the shower with wet slippery hands. It is quite appealing with nice labels and easy to read instructions. The conditioner itself isn’t a thick consistency, but not runny. It has a light scent, which is quite refreshing in scent and not overpowering. After leaving on my hair for a few minutes, it was easy to wash out and left my hair feeling quite soft and smooth. Upon drying, my hair wasn’t as soft as I had expected, and I don’t feel like it helped to accentuate my natural curl. It left almost like a greasy residue on my hair, meaning I had to rewatch a few days later (usually can stretch to a week). I would recommend this to people with thicker hair.

This did wonders for my hair! I am always sceptical when a product says its targeted for a certain hair type but this changed my mind. My hair always suffers from frizz and so even though I have naturally loose curly hair, I end up using a curling wand to be able to get pretty curls without the frizz. After using only this shampoo and conditioner for a month I can let my hair air dry and have beautiful curls without needing to use any hot tools or antifrizz serum (that makes my hair oily and means washing it more regularly, its a vicious cycle 😅). I am so happy with this product and being able to wear my natural hair is a total game changer for getting ready in the morning and my overall hair health. If you suffer from frizzy or unruly curly hair, definitely recommend trying this! It's changed my hair just in time for summer and long beach days ❤️

The Maui Moisture Lightweight Curls Flaxseed Conditioner is a lightly fragranced conditioner that is easy to use and leaves hair not feeling weighed down. Its fragrance is soft and subtle but still smells fresh. It helped my usually frizzy, wavy hair have some more pronounced curls. My hair felt soft and clean after I used this product. The packaging is nice and says what it does in easy to read instructions. I like that it has some natural products in the first ingredients. I would recommend this conditioner to someone with light, wavy textured hair.

I used this as part of the 4 week trial and I have to say it was a great everyday conditioner that did not make my hair feel greasy or weighed down. It did help with frizz management and I did see an increase in the natural curl for my hair. I do have leftover damage and issues with dry ends so I would have liked something a little more thicker but that is just personal preference and honestly if you do a regular hair mask once a week it wouldn't matter. I would love to see this brand bring out a complimenting hair mask to use as well along with the shampoo and conditioner.

I used this alongside the shampoo and really feel this made a big difference in bringing out my natural curls. After shampooing twice, I was distribute the product throughout my ends and rake through my hair. I left on for approximately 3 minutes, then rinsed. the product feels quite light (not heavy like other conditioners), but it definitely made my hair very soft and shiny. My only issue with this shampoo and conditioner was that my hair was still quite dry and frizzy if I did not use any product to style after use (and therefore was quite knotty), but that’s generally most shampoo and conditioners for my hair type.

Great product when used in combination with the shampoo. The smell is wonderful and it smoothes and adds a natural sheen to the hair without the weight. Works well with curly and wavy hair. Works well at detangling. Does not include the nasty chemicals such as sls that other products include which makes it safe for pregnant and breastfeeding women. i have already recommended family and friends this product after only a few uses. This is the first time i have used this brand and I am pleasantly surprised by the fast and noticable results.

I used this conditioner following the shampoo from the same range. Like the shampoo I found the aloe and flaxseed combination to add much needed moisture to my hair. It left my hair feeling ultra shiny and bouncy. I was able to skip of my usual hair oils and other products post wash as it left my hair feeling so shiny. I love that this range is vegan and gluten free, and free from nasties like silicone. The fragrance is light and perfect for summer. I look forward to continuing use of this product and will try others from this brand as well.

I really loved how nice the product feels when lathering it and the smell is amazing. I found that my hair was left feeling really clean after washing and it was always shiny after drying. The only slight issue I had was that I found I needed to wash my hair more regularly than usual, I'm not sure if maybe there was residue left after washing. The size of the bottle is perfect and a little goes a long way so I don't have to restock as frequently. I would definitely use it again! Will repurchase :)

This is a very lightweight conditioner, as the bottle suggests. It provides enough slip to detangle the hair effectively and leaves the hair feeling soft and lightly hydrated. The scent of the conditioner reminds me of summer; a coconut, citrus blend, that sticks in the hair for days after rinsing. While I love the scent, it might not be appropriate for anyone who is sensitive to smells, as it is quite strong. This conditioner would be best suited to fine hair types. Drier hair might find that this isn’t enough moisture for them, but it’s perfect for finer hair that can feel weighed down by heavier products. It really enhanced my natural waves and gave them a shine, too!

I have wavy hair with frizz if I don't dry my hair with a dryer. I used this product since early October which is around a month ago. The ingredients of the conditioner is good, including aloe vera, flaxseed oil and coconut water. My hair feels smooth and soft after using it with the shampoo. I love the combo because the smell was very refreshing. I enjoy using them! However, as a conditioner by itself, I don't see if there is anything special. If you buy it, I recommend to buy it with the shampoo to get the best of the benefits.

This worked really well with the shampoo. I did notice it is one you need to really leave for a few minutes to have effect - I did a quick rinse once and effect was noticeably different. It definitely provided a great level of moisture without weighing down, same as the shampoo. I actually felt no need to apply my usual leave in treatment post shower while my hair dried. I love that it has no nasties and the smell is fantastic too. It would be great for those with dry hair or curls, of any length, thick or fine.

Similarly to the shampoo in this product line, this conditioner was also amazing and perfectly suited to my hair type of wavy to medium curls. A little goes a long way with this conditioner and it left my hair feeling fresh and bouncy. I did pair this product with the same variety of shampoo and can therefore only base my thoughts around that particular use. For anyone looking to try out a new conditioner I would definitely recommend this product, particularly if paired with the same shampoo to give your hair definition and volume.

This conditioner worked well on my hair to create soft hair and slightly define my waves. I have fine hair, but lots of it and tend to get frizzy very easily - I found that when I washed my hair with this shampoo and conditioner, my hair was light and airy, not so frizzy, as it often is. The scent and consistency is pleasant and not offensive - in line with what I'd expect from a supermarket/Pharmacy brand and Maui, as I have used this brand many times before. I also found that my hair looked shiny with regular use of this shampoo. While I think this conditioner was generally good for my hair, I think it could have been a little richer and more hydrating, I don't think it was good for my scalp. After a month of using 2-3 times a week, my scalp became increasingly dry, itchy and flakey. It's worth noting my scalp is prone to this, but it was in good condition prior to commencing this trial. So for this reason, I would not repurchase, but would recommend to others with dry, wavy/frizzy hair if their hair isn't too dry to begin with.

This is the first product from the Maui Moisture Hair Care range that I have used. Overall, I’m pretty impressed with the Lightweight Curls + Flaxseed Conditioner. The scent is slightly different to the Shampoo scent, it kind of has less of a coconut scent and is much much softer than the scent of the shampoo. I still find it really appealing to use. I like to use a thicker conditioner to weigh down my flimsy curls however this one really surprised me. It was a light weight conditioner but gave my hair some softness and some definition without having to use a bunch of different products. After using the Maui Lightweight Curls + Flaxseed range, I would absolutely use the range again and I’m keen to try something else in the range such as one of the hair masks.

This was my first time using the shampoo and conditioner, (well any product really) from the Maui range, and I was pleasantly surprised at the results I had. Please excuse the terrible jokes in my review, I was really feeling a Disney theme would be the go. I have been on a forever search trying to find my Happily Ever After products (“You want thingamabobs/Conditioners? I got twenty”) that give me those Disney Princess “I always wake up with my hair this way ” vibes and let me tell you, this product comes bloody close on the silky feel scale. I trialed both the shampoo and conditioner products for 4 weeks, as per the recommendations and washed my hair once to twice a week - my hair is often up for work so I can get away with not washing it too often. To condition my hair, I followed the directions on the care card - after shampooing, apply conditioner generously to hair, working through to ends. Wait 3-5 minutes. Sing “Under the Sea” to pass the time. Maybe shave.  Rinse hair thoroughly. After my first wash, I noticed how clean, healthy and hydrated my hair felt. I couldn’t believe how silky and smooth it felt, and just after one wash! I was keen to rinse and repeat, quite literally, and trial my new found potential conditioner Prince Charming. These bottles are pretty good value for the price too - it’s not the biggest bottle I’ve seen, but the product really goes a long way, and I didn’t feel like I had to use a large amount of shampoo to get a good lather going. You might say it’s like hiding a Genie in a bottle.. The actual bottle is relatively user friendly. I have not used enough product to see if it would be annoying to get out when running low, so that is TBD. But so far, so good. Definitely a fan of the scent too. It does NOT smell chemical-y, or like a dozen rotten eggs dropped in a vat of vinegar. I couldn’t really describe the smell to you, but it IS definitely pleasant, and it was enough for my Prince Charming to comment on how good my hair smelt.. Like side note, what are you trying to say Kevin, did my hair not smell good before??? I certainly noticed a physical improvement in my hair - it is definitely smoother, stronger and silkier than before. I have gone from Merida levels of frizz to Ariel’s underwater locks (and that’s without brushing my hair with a fork!) All that said, I’m ever so slightly disapointed to say that I can’t say I noticed an increase in my curls at all, which is the only reason why I’m giving this product a 4 star instead of 5. But a big thumbs up for the everything else! I would definitely recommend this conditioner to friends, family and you, internet reader, this product will give you locks to rival even the swish-i-est of the Disney Princess’s hair, but please note, happily ever after and Prince are not included!

My hair is more wavy than curly – however I wanted to give this a try to see if it would help me achieve more “I naturally woke up like this” hair days than “frizzy mess”. I have to say that after trialling out the new Maui Moisture Lightweight Curls + Flaxseed Shampoo and Conditioner I’m pleased with the results. Always a fan of vegan / natural products if possible, and the Aloe Vera definitely works to hydrate and smooth. Shampoo has a good lather, and leaves hair clean but not dry, and when followed with the conditioner that melts instantly into your hair, detangling is incredibly easy (just with my fingers) When rinsed out hair still feels soft and hydrated, and when gently towel dried I did find that my hair tended to generally settle better into shinier waves rather than frizzy or flat, with minimum product. Pleased but not amazed by this product. Would recommend as a good lightweight “every other wash” option for curly haired girls in between styling.
