I love love love this product, this shampoo is so clarifying and invigorating on the scalp. During the colder months, my hair falls very flat, but this shampoo adds so much body and life to my hair. I have been using this shampoo for a few weeks now and I'm finding it super effective and refreshing. It has a gel texture and a little goes a long way. The smell is refreshing and not overpowering. I suffer from dermatitis on my scalp and finds it soothed the itching very quickly while being gentle on my scalp. Since using this it has really helped my oily hair. I used to have to wash my hair every day or two as it seemed to just get so greasy overnight. But now I find my hair lasting almost a week before needing a wash! It's an amazing product and I thoroughly recommend!

Was surprised I didn’t like this shampoo. It left my hair feeling dull and limp! The packaging is great and a wanted to like it the shampoo itself lathered well and had no scent to which is nice for sensitive scalps…… Just don’t think it was right for my fine hair, I also have a flaky scalp and it seem to make that worse which is a deal breaker for me unfortunately Would be great for someone with thicker hair that has sensitive scalp. The shampoo itself is clear and as I said no scent to the product either

I have fine oily hair, which means I have to wash it every second day, I also use dry shampoo daily which is probably why my scalp has a tendency to feel irritated/itchy. I really wanted to love this product, but unfortunately it just didn’t cut it for me. First of all I’m not a fan of the fragrance, it’s only subtle, but I still didn’t like it. Secondly I found it made my hair oilier than normal. After washing and drying my hair it immediately looked as though it was day 2 or 3 post hair wash, it left my hair looking flat, dull and greasy. In terms of scalp irritation, I feel like it didn’t change, but that it probably due to having to use lots of dry shampoo to get my hair to look as though it had been washed. I would not purchase this product again, it wasn’t right for my hair.

Proffessionel scalp advanced anti- Discomfort Shampoo is the perfect shampoo for scalps that are either too dry or oily, this shampoo fitted perfect for my hair and scalp as I have very long oily hair, which causes oily dandruff that causes so much discomfort. For years I have been looking for the perfect shampoo for me and this one has proven to be the right one for me, it clarified, moisturised and soothed my hair and scalp, releasing all the excess oil and dandruff. My hair would get oily just after two days of wash and that lead me to wash it quite often which caused even more discomfort, with the L'oreal shampoo I wash my hair quite less yet there is a an effective cleansing that lasts longer making my hair look healthy and clean. The gel like product is free from fragrance and has a fresh smell to it, just a little bit of product goes a long way, and foams up really well and just one wash does the job. The bottle is so cute and easy to store and mostly to travel with. I wouldn't use it all the time once my hair and scalp is treated and goes back to normal as i feel it gets all the oil off my hair but would highly recommend to use it at least once a month. Loving this product so far, would repurchase it and recommend it to my friends and family.

The L'Oreal Professional Scalp Advanced Anti-Discomfort Shampoo worked wonders for me. I suddenly started to have a dry scalp recently but when I started using this product, paired with another I am trialling, I noticed it starting to help with the dryness. I have been trying a few different shampoo/conditioners targeted towards dandruff and found they didn't work, even the ones from the chemist. My scalp would tend to be quite itchy due to the dryness even the day of washing my hair but since using this shampoo I find myself not having the irritating itchy feeling. I highly recommend this product.

After using the shampoo for 3 weeks i did notice my scalp because less irritated. It was gentle on the scalp but did not help with oily hair. Unfortunately it is average for the product and pricing. I currently have natural roots going mid way to ends are bleached blonde. I do not recommend on bleach blonde hair it is very drying. But on my natural hair it left it soft and fresh. Easy to open flip lid to get access to shampoo. Has a fresh smell that is not too strong. This product lathers really well and a little does go a long way.

I’ve been using the L’Oreal Professionnel Scalp Advanced Anti-Discomfort Shampoo for over a month and I’m in love. I suffer from scalp psoriasis and most other scalp shampoos don’t lather or feel like you’re actually washing sweat or product built up out of your roots. Whereas L’Oreal Professionnel Scalp Advanced Anti-Discomfort Shampoo covers your whole hair in suds and penetrates the hair and rinses out easily giving your hair a truly clean and healthy feeling. My psoriasis has been under control for the first time in years thanks to this wonderful product. The shampoo smells divine and not much is needed to wash my hair and which is very long and thick. Highly recommend this product especially to any psoriasis suffers.

I am, however, undecided on the results. When I first received the L’Oreal Professional Scalp Advanced Anti-Discomfort Shampoo I was a little surprised at how small the bottle is compared to its price point. A little really does go a long way with this shampoo though, as it lathers very well, even for such a small amount. I really liked the scent of this shampoo, I found it to be very fresh, though I can’t quite put my finger on what it reminds me of, a herbal scent possibly. I also liked how clean and refreshed my scalp felt after each use. Some days it relieved the irritation on my scalp and other days my scalp was as irritated and itchy as ever, not sure why. I did find that I needed to follow up with a light conditioner otherwise my hair felt a bit dried out. Overall, I was reasonably pleased with the results and I will continue to use. Right now I’m not sure if I would repurchase but I would still recommend to others as their results may be more consistent than mine.

I tend to get a sensitive and itchy scalp in the cooler months. I found this shampoo to be quite effective at preventing this from occurring this year. I didn't love the smell. A nice smelling product is important for me as I really enjoy relaxing in the shower. I would consider buying this product if they modified the scent. It's absolutely perfect so for those with sensitive scalps, this shampoo leaves your hair feeling refreshed and looking its best. I'm so happy I was able to test this shampoo, it's been life changing for me, I know won't use anything else.

To begin, what a unique shampooing experience. Although fairly superficial, I liked the feel of the shampoo (thick texture) and the fact that it was clear; it was unique. The fragrance though was too overpowering for me (and for my husband who utilised the shower after me!). It smelled a little too much like chemicals, so not a fan of the fragrance. Okay, a little about me. I am mid forties with heavily coloured hair. Whilst my hair is heavily colored I would consider it in reasonable condition, not dry or prone to breakage. My hair is shoulder length. As a mum to 3 teenagers and working full time, I am extremely time poor so I rely on good shampoo and conditioner and good styling products to keep my hair looking good over the week without the need to wash and blow dry too often. What this means is that I use a LOT of dry shampoo, a mix of aveda and supermarket brands. I don’t have an irritated scalp but due to how much dry shampoo I use I can sometime get a build up of product especially around my ears and crown. My super sensitive shampoo whilst is great for the care of my hair not so great at removing this build up. This is where I found L’Oreal Professionnel Scalp Advanced Anti-Discomfort Shampoo great. I have been using this product for the last few weeks and I found it was great at removing this build up so as my other haircare products worked better. I would recommend for this purpose.

I suffer from bad dandruff and itchy scalp, especially when I’m going through periods of stress. I also sweat a lot on my sleep, which then further irritates my scalp. Incorporating the L’Oréal Scalp Advanced Anti-Discomfort Shampoo has assisted greatly in reducing the discomfort, itchiness, and reoccurrence of dandruff. The shampoo lathers up very easily, with only a little bit (20c coin) amount able to do your full head easily. It is clear in colour, however is quite a strong scent. I didn’t mind the scent, especially as it lingered once I dried my hair, which was pleasant. I didn’t find it too drying, my hair felt soft afterward, however I did pair it with a treatment afterwards to ensure I wasn’t damaging it. I will be purchasing this product again once I am done with this bottle!

I love the gel consistency which was very easy to lather up with only a small amount required and cleans thoroughly, which I normally wash my hair every 2 days but with this shampoo i am able to stretch out to 3-4 days. There is a light herbal fragrance, which is not too overpowering. My hair feels softer and smoother, however my frizzy hair still remains. I normally shower with very warm water and I know that is one of the causes to my scalp irritation, however I noticed my scalp is not as dry and irritated without changing the water temperature. As the name suggests, this shampoo is a professional-grade product, and it shows. The packaging exudes elegance, and the consistency of the shampoo itself feels luxurious.

It has a mild, refreshing scent and slightly cools my scalp when I use it. This shampoo lathers well and provides a great clean, but doesn't leave my hair feeling dry and actually leaves my scalp more calm and hydrated. It also contains Niacinamide which helps soothe the scalp, and it's great that it doesn't contain colours, silicones, sulphates, or alcohol. I have used this shampoo a few times a week for a few weeks, and have already noticed that my scalp is less itchy and irritated.
