L'Oréal Paris Elvive Glycolic Gloss Shampoo

I loved this shampoo, it gave me really shiny hair. I love that it is sulphate free and at $19.00 it’s quite the bargain as I felt it gave really good salon quality results. It smells great and lathers well leaving my hair really clean and fresh, I recommend using the matching conditioner for best results and for detangling. I love L’Oréal products, they always give such high results and this shampoo was no exception, my hair is super shiny when I use this shampoo and I have been asked what shampoo it is I use, I always get compliments. I love the L’Oréal glycolic gloss range and would highly recommend it, I will be buying this product again.

This is a shampoo that lives up to its' promise. The texture was thick and rich, the scent was divine and I discovered (the hard way) that a little goes a long way. My hair is long, dry and bleached and I use a straightener so it suited my needs. While it says it suits other hair types, the 'coating' feel was definitely beneficial to my dry ends, which are overdue for a trim. I can understand why those with oily hair may not feel it deep cleans. Mine did need two washes but I do that anyway so this was no problem. It rinsed out nicely and didn't have that 'stripped' feel after some shampoos. I'd suggest applying sparsely - at this price point and for those who wash twice, it would go fast, But the smooth feel once hair was dried mean I would purchase it. My only other feedback - which applies to most product manufacturers, especially beauty products - is to please increase the point size on the instructions as they're one of the most important elements of the packaging and tricky to read, for older (40s!) types like myself. But overall, I did enjoy and do rate this product.

I've always been a big fan of L'Oreal shampoos. I find they always get it right and this one is no exception. I have blonde hair so it can be hard to maintain, keeping it blonde and bright all the time is a struggle, and it can be expensive too. When I was offered to trial this product, I jumped at the opportunity. I've been using it for a few weeks now and have been loving the results! It's brought my hair back to life, from lacking shine and dullness to being bright, almost looking like a new blonde again! I highly recommend this product!

This shampoo is part of an at-home glossing treatment regime, which has helped revive my dull and damaged hair. After just 1 week of use, my hair has improved dramatically. This is a great alternative for going in-salon as you can achieve similar results from home. I shampooed twice and it helped clean my scalp and product build up. The range smells amazing and the smell lingers for days after. After trialling this range for multiple weeks, my hair is shiny, it's smooth, and my health has improved. I've washed my hair less using this range as it's healthier. Suitable for all hair types including my frizzy locks, it has helped smooth flyaways. Love this range and will continue to use and benefit from the results

This shampoo, like the serum, 5 minute lamination and conditioner, smelled really good. I do like to shampoo twice and feel like it didnt clean my hair properly after one. After use i did notice a slight difference with my frizz but after continued use there was no difference to the overall condition of my hair. It is an okay shampoo and does a decent job but for the price you can definitely get better if you are budget shopping but if you can afford it i would definitely say give it a go as it does smell really good.

Didn’t give a great clean, almost felt like it maybe started to build up on my hair. If you’re an oily hair girl, you might want to steer clear of this one. I also didn’t feel softer or any benefits to the overall health of my hair. I have quite dry, frizzy hair and can’t say that I saw any improvement. I also noticed some damage to my coloured hair (have copper colour) and feel like it made it fade much faster and almost turn yellow. So beware also if you have coloured hair. The smell is amazing though, I did really enjoy how it left a fragrance on my hair as well. Would definitely buy that smell as a perfume! Overall it was a very average experience for a shampoo.

I received the Glycolic Gloss Haircare routine as part of a trial and whist I loved the products individually, their scent, consistency and packaging are great on their own. I did find however that using the products as directed left my hair greasy, my scalp feeling thick and my hair showing signs of buildup and caking. The shampoo is quite thick and does lather well however it does take some work to do so The conditioner has a fine consistency but the amount received in the bottle is not comparable to shampoo meaning you run out of it much quicker The hair treatment is the only product I found I loved and would probably repurchase as used with other shampoo and conditioner it does leave the desired results and makes my hair shiny and easy to manage Finally the serum was a bit confusing as it initially appears as if the bottle is glittery however on use of the product the glitter is contained in the product itself, I would have loved this had there been any pay off of this glitter into the hair however it dissolves in the hair but never off the hands and only adds an oily, not shiny, look to the finished product once styled. I’m sure this product would be amazing for those with dry and dull hair however it was simply not for me.

I have never been so impressed by a drug store shampoo, conditioning, lamination and gloss process in my life but can’t see myself ever going back after trying these! Life changed forever!!

Left me with an oily residue in my hair and bad dandruff after using it for 3 weeks. It took me 3 washes with clarifying shampoo to get rid of the residue left in my hair. It also made my hair very greasy and I’d have to wash it every 2nd day, but it didn’t help really as it made it even greasier. The dandruff got worse and worse every time I used these products as well. Would not recommend, as soon I had changed back to my regular shampoo and conditioner, my hair was instantly in better shape.

Amazing soft smooth silky shiny. I absolutely loved this range. My hair needed some TLC and after trying the range my hair was left super soft, glossy and overall looks healthy. The range has a sweet scent and I am here for it. I secretly loved a hair range with a nice scent and this one in particular made me feel like I was at a salon. After double shampooing, conditioner, 5 minute laminate and leave in serum, my hair is looking it’s best. The scent of the range lingered for a few days after and couldn’t get over how soft and shiny my hair is. After a few weeks use my hair feels stronger and it lasts a lot longer between washes. I will continue to use the range and purchase this after the trial

Had high expectations for this product but sadly it didn’t live up to them. It made my hair look dirty, and if anything, way less glossy than normal. It wasn’t nourishing at all and the ends of my hair felt dry and like they’d snap off at any moment. I can usually make a wash last 3-4 days but using this shampoo, my hair was greasy after 2 days. It made my scalp itchy and flaky. I had to stop using it because it was making my hair look so bad. As soon as I went back to using my normal shampoo, my hair looked instantly better. This entire range completely missed the mark for me. Would not recommend!

Thank you for the opportunity to trial the L'Oréal Paris Elvive Gloss Shampoo. The product comes in stylish and pretty packaging which looks great in my bathroom. The packaging size is smaller than I expected, I prefer a larger size. The shampoo easily came out of the container. It lathered beautifully and was easy to rinse out and there was no remaining residue. My hair felt very clean after using this shampoo. Usually I like to do two shampoos but it felt great after just one. The scent is just beautiful and remains on your hair for about 2 days. I would recommend this product.

I really enjoyed using this product it was easy to get out of the bottle , lathered up great and a little went a long way ! Which I love because I have extremely long hair and love not having to use half a bottle to wash my hair. My hair felt fresh and washed after use of the shampoo and as I dried my hair I did noticed a silk and shine to it straight away but the only thing I would say is that was not lasting for the days following use my hair felt oily again very quickly after use ! But that would be the only thing I really noticed ! The experience of using this product was great and after use I did notice a shine and silkiness to my hair immediately.

I really enjoyed this range! the shampoo is the first step in the glycolic gloss treatments so it's a bit hard to say how it works as an individual product - however it's become one of my favourite shampoos and I will definitely be repurchasing. I have oily and frizzy hair so it was nice and hydrating without adding to the stickiness. smells amazing too! the only thing I didn't like was how small the bottle was vs the price point - if you have long hair you will go through this quickly, be warned!

I have wavy hair that is dry and in need of serious shine. I usually have to use a lot of products to get my hair semi shiny and even then the shine disappears after 24 hours. This shampoo smells really nice and lathers really good on my hair. I double shampoo with a silicone brush to really clean my hair, and this shampoo did not leave my hair feeling oily or dirty. It washed out really easily. Paired with the other products in this range it really made a difference to my hair. I found while using the L'Oreal Paris Elvive Glycolic Gloss range my hair was shiny and bouncy and looked amazing.

I trailed the shampoo as part of the Glycolic Gloss care range for the past few weeks. The shampoo smells amazing and has a good lather. It is easy to use and to rinses off very easily as well. But for me it was no different to any other shampoo. It did not really do much in regards to enhancing the shine or the gloss of my hair. I have a curly dark hair and there was no noticeable change in the shine of my hair in the past few weeks. Not a bad shampoo at all but I would probably opt for something other that I use more regularly.

I was very excited to try this range as I'm always looking to bring some shine to my hair. This product comes in a lovely pink bottle that made it easy to dispense the product. Shampoo has a slight pink hue that matches the bottle, and is slightly scented (though very light and quite pleasant). I also love that it's sulfate free, though I still managed to get a good lather from it! Easy to use, would recommend! This shampoo is step one of the L'Oréal Paris Elvive Glycolic range - I would strongly suggest using this alongside the other three products in the range to get best results!

I have noticed a huge difference the first time using all the products as recommended. The sparkly pinky pearly texture of the solution just gives girly pop vibes! So adorably and cute! The entire ranges packaging definitely suites the solution since all the products have similar sparkly textures, except the conditioner. The packaging gives 2000’s girly vibes. It’s pretty and cute! It’s not a large package so I don’t know if it’s worth the price tag. The 4 step process is long but the shampoo is one of the quickest steps! The lather was very foamy and the smell was so nice and sweet~ not overpoweringly sweet!
