Lady Jayne® VELOCITY™ Ionic Hairdryer

This is a great small hairdryer. The size is awesome considering the power it has. It’s very portable for taking away overnight. The function options are excellent too and the design is sleek and simple. It is not too noisy when it is being used and dries hair effectively and relatively quickly. I would recommend this hairdryer to anyone who needs an affordable hairdryer that is well sized and well powered. I didn’t know that lady Jayne did small electronics but I was impressed, particularly when paired with the straightening device also from Lady Jayne!

The Lady Jayne Aria Wave Air Styler has been such an amazing addition to my hair kit. I’ve always wanted to style my hair more but due to being extremely clumsy with my hands and impatient I’ve never settled on choosing a device. This product is such an affordable dupe of more expensive stylers out on the market. It’s so lightweight and sleek that manoeuvring it around to create new styles has been so easy! The size and little travel pouch it comes with also makes it so easy to travel and bring it on the go with.

I absolutely loved using the Lady Jayne Hairdryer! It’s lightweight and easy to handle, making hair drying a breeze. The appliance is powerful, delivering smooth, frizz-free results that last all day. While it was a bit loud, that’s pretty much expected for a hairdryer, right? 😄 I also appreciated how quickly it dried my hair without leaving it feeling damaged or dry. Overall, it gave me the sleek and polished look I was after. I would definitely purchase this product again and recommend it to family and friends for its ease of use and effective performance.

I received this hair-dryer along with the air styler from the Review crew and I couldn't be happier. I have been using the same hair-dryer for 23 years and was definitely in need of something less heavy and bulky. When I opened the box I was surprised to see how small this was. It's light and easy to store. The nozzle and air filter at the base are magnetic so no clicking it on which made it a breeze to put on. When I switched it on the back of the dryer lit up blue. I thought this little detail was so cool. Change the temperature to warm and it changed to orange. Change the temperature to hot and it changed to red. Change it again and the colours would cycle through like a rainbow while the temperature changed with it. It was light to use and powerful for the size of it. My daughters were pretty impressed with the details of this. My hair dried quickly and stayed styled for days without going frizzy. I love this dryer and definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a compact but powerful dryer.

This hair dryer was amazing to use. I have very fine wave hair, and a lot of it, so with other hair dryers I really struggled with how long it took to dry my hair. Ot could take me 40+ minutes to get my hair 90% dry. However, this hair dryer was very powerful. I could dry my hair from sopping wet to 90% dry in about 15 minutes which I never thought could be possible. The dryer is also very ergonomic and allowed me to easily get around my head without leaving my arm tired from its weight. I absolutely love this hair dryer and will continue to use it. My only issue with it is inability to dry it in a way that accentuates my natural waves. Since I dont think you can add a diffuser attachment to it, its pretty much impossible to achieve a ‘plopped’ style where my hair isn't straightened.

I tried the Lady Jayne Velocity Ionic Hairdryer and overall, I really like it! The design is super sleek, and I love the pink accents on the hairdryer. It is easy to use, and the magnetic attachment is easy to attach and remove. I was hoping this hairdryer would dry my hair quicker than my old one, but unfortunately it’s about the same. I also feel that the hot setting could be a bit hotter. Apart from that, I love this hair dryer and it feels really nice to use. I would definitely recommend this product.

The Lady Jayne® VELOCITY™ Ionic Hairdryer is a nice black and metallic rose coloured powerful and fast drying hairdryer. It comes with a magnetic concentrator nozzle that easily attaches and detaches without issues, allowing users to easily focus the airflow to help precision styling. The hairdryer has a 2 power / speed control setting, equivalent to about medium and high, controlled with a toggle. This allowed me to easily choose the preferred power setting to dry my hair really quickly, and reduces the frizz and flyaways. There are 4 temperature settings including cold, low heat, high heat, and pulsating (cold through high heat), which is controlled by a button. The heat setting can be identified by the LED ring light on the back of the hairdryer (blue, amber, red, and pulsating blue through red). Additional small postive detail is the cord strap, which makes it so convenient and easy to tie the cord when storing the hairdryer. The only issue I have noticed is that the Airflow Filter is magnetically attached at the base. Although the magnet is relatively strong, if you grab and hold the hairdryer by the Airflow Filter it may detach and you might drop the hairdryer. A twisting lock mechanism might be better, but the magnetic attachment does make it easy to remove and clean the filter. The hairdryer has been very easy to use to dry and / or style my hair and compares very well to other high end brands. I have been able to dry my elbow length hair very quickly, leaving a nice smooth finish with reduced frizz and flyaways. I did not notice any dry or damaged hair after using this for a couple of weeks. It compares very well with its competitors! I love this hairdryer and I would highly recommend this hairdryer to everyone!

I love that this hair dryer comes with variable heat and speed settings which made blow drying my hair quick and gentle.The design is so different to my old hairdryer, its light weight and comfortable to hold and I was easily able to hold it up and aim the nozzle close to my roots and to my brush to get the style I wanted. I love the simplicity of its design including the magnetic nozzle attachment. It doesn't take up too much room in my bathroom cupboard.The ionic technology I believe has calmed my frizz comparing it to my old ceramic hairdryer that blasts heat intensely instead of a gentle flow. It created a smooth blow dry on my particularly thick frizzy dry hair in a very short amount of time. I highly recommend this hair dryer.

I'm blown away by how well this hair dryer performs! Smooth and seemless air flow with a variety of heat settings. I tend to avoid using a hair dryer on my very frizzy and thin hair as it tend to create many unwanted knots and increase frizz. The Lady Jayne ionic hairdryer was just so smooth with the precise attachment and kept my hair voluminous and knot free. I loved the magnetic attachment making this product feel expensive and modern. I noticed I wasn't battling with dry hair after use either, the heat wasn't so overpowering that it burnt/dried out my hair. It provided quick results also and didn't leave me with damp roots. The small design made it easy to handle and super efficient when styling. Overall this product ticks all the boxes, affordable, innovative, fast drying, easy to use and modern, would definitely recommend.

Wow. I was blown away by this hairdryer. I loved the rose gold touches and how incredibly light weight the device was super stylish. The drying nozzle is also magnetic and just pops on without having to use any force. The drying function comes in two speeds and my favourite function was the ability to change the colour of the drying setting. Each colour coincides with the heating temperature red for hot, blue for cool and peach for warm. My hair is fine and very frizzy, this hairdryer dried my hair very quickly and the nozzle kept frizz at bay. If your looking for a hair dryer that is a dyson dupe at a fraction of the cost then run dont walk to grab yours now. Highly recommended.

I could talk about how much I am loving this hairdryer all day! Very simple and straightforward from the get go often new electronics worry me to start with but not this. Super lightweight there is a magnetic nozzle that can be attached for precise styling but I like to dry off my hair before I straighten it and aren’t good with proper blow drys so i don’t use this attachment being able to not have this automatically attached is really a game changer for me as I get so much more air to my hair for a much faster result. Out of the two speed settings I use the highest for my thick and frizzy hair as this gives me the most hair flow and heat the quickest way possible. To finish I give it a once over with the cool setting to help prevent frizz while preserving my straight sleek hair. It leaves my hair soft and dry very quickly which is exactly what I want from a hairdryer. I love that when you press the button to select the temp that a colour lights up to coincide with the temp heat is read, cool is blue and peach alternates between both. I’ve already recommended this hair dryer to friends and family and of course would buy it again myself too.

I was pleasantly surprised with this hair dryer and found it very easy to use. The dryer is very lightweight and the settings are easy to use. I found styling to be very quick and easy. I have long blonde hair that is quite frizzy and wavy. I was able to dry my hair quickly and noticed flyaways were reduced. My hair was soft after use. I used a straightener after the hair dryer and I noticed that my hair was slick after using the dryer, my straighting time was reduced. Overall, a great product, light weight, compact and doesn't take up much room in the draw and made hair drying quick.

I will preface this review by saying I am a long term (5+ years) Dyson Air Wrap devotee, so any and all styling tools that cross my path end up being compared to it, fairly or not. But, this hairdryer absolutely and completely punches above its weight and delivers on every level. I have extremely thick, long, dead straight hair, which is usually time consuming to dry and difficult to get any shape into. The Lady Jane Velocity Ionic Hairdryer not only dried my hair quickly and smoothly, but made it easy to work with the round brush for a great classic blow out. It was easy to hold, and it's design with the weight in the handle makes it fine to hold for long periods of time. The magnetic attachments are a great feature and seamless to snap on and off - would be great to get some other attachments in future. I really liked how simple the settings were, and the coloured ring light indicating heat settings/cool mode was a really great touch so you can see at a glance what you're doing. Even the silicone tie on the cord shows the incredible attention to detail that's gone into this. I also really liked the black and rose gold colour way, it's a tool i'm proud to show off in my bathroom. I would absolutely purchase this again, or even as a gift for family and friends. Every bit as good as the Dyson, without anywhere near the financial outlay.

I really can’t believe how light this hairdryer is yet power. Favourite features are selecting the heat setting by the colour that illuminates in the ring of colour changes per heat settling for example red = hot, blue = cool. There are two speed settings and one cool setting which I love to blast at the end of blow drying to help with my frizzy/hair. For more precise styling there is a noddle that attaches magnetically. I would recommend this hairdryer to family and friends and would repurchase myself as it dries my hair fast and my hair is left smooth with no flyaways, it’s light to hold and is not loud not loud which has all contributed to making my air drying and styling much easier which is better than what I could have ever imagined.

I recieved this to trial as part of the reviewcrew and I have got to say, although it is very deceptively small, lightweight in feel it sure does pack a serious punch! It blasts out the air (it is a little bit noisy) and really gets the job done. I love how the 4 heat settings have colour displays on the back of the nozzle; the cold air setting is blue so the back of the hair dryer is a bright blue when this setting is on, the warmer setting is orange, the third is colour changing which is so so cool! It changes from blue to pink to orange to red and back again, it is so cool to look at. Love the colour changing display, that was my favourite unexpected surprise. And lastly the fourth is red for the hot setting. I found it very easy to hold, it is super lightweight (although noisy). My hair is very long, thick and wavy and within not even ten minutes my hair was completely dry after use. It definitely gets the job done! I quite like this, it is small but powerful and definitely does what I need it to. Love the colour displays, it is such a cool aspect and adds to the sleek design.

I'm someone who typically blow dries my hair after every shower, so I was super excited to see how this hair dryer compared with my regular dryer. I have to say I'm super impressed with how quickly the lady jayne dried my hair, and how non-damaging it felt. I used the warm air setting but I especially loved how it had multiple temperature controls and a concentrator nozzle that helped direct the air flow better for styling. My hair wasn't frizzy and dry after blow drying and overall I loved the design of the dryer itself too!

I am beyond impressed with this hair dryer! My hair is very long, wavy and frizzy so I typically have difficulty blow drying it straight after washing it. This hair dryer left my hair straight, smooth and shiny in only 30 minutes. With other hair dryers, my hair still feels frizzy or dry after being dried but because of the strong air current of this tool I've noticed an improvement. The blow dryer has multiple settings and is light weight to hold. My mum and sister have also been using it and raving to me about the difference in their hair!
