Lady Jayne® ARIA WAVE™ Air Styler

This is a great little product. The design is very sleek and aesthetically pleasing. The air styler warms up quickly and then maintained its heat well, leading to a very effective result. I have a lot of frizz naturally and this air styler was able to defrizz my hair and make it look sleek. The results lasted well. I’m not generally very good with curling my hair so watched some YouTube tutorials and ended up getting some curls from this air styler! I used this air styler along with the lady jayne hairdryer and would recommend this combination. Overall, a great little air styler!

Having to wash my hair every two days, my scalp and locks have been through so much heat damage. With my old dryer it took so long to fully dry my hair that I felt like the last remaining moisture be sucked away from prolonged heat exposure. Since using the velocity hairdryer I’ve definitely felt like my hair has become less brittle and prone to snapping especially when brushing through it. It’s also so quiet so I no longer get told off when blow drying my hair at night time which is definitely a plus.

The Lady Jayne Air Styler is a great option for quick go-to for effortless styling. It’s lightweight and super simple to use, which makes creating smooth, frizz-free hair a joy. The results are exactly what I wanted—lasting smoothness without the hassle. I was particularly impressed with how easily it glided through my hair, leaving it looking sleek and well-styled. It’s perfect for quick touch-ups or a full styling session. I’m thrilled with how easy it made straightening my hair, although the curl is something I’m still to master! I would recommend this to friends and family as a hair styling tool.

I was really excited to have been picked for this trial. When I opened the box I noticed the sleek style of this air styler. When I plugged it in it didn't take long to heat up and was light to hold. I liked that the plates were more of a clamp style and I  didn't have to squeeze the plates together while twisting my wrist to create waves. It has an easy to read display and also features a button that turns the air on and off. After I finished and let it cool down  I stored it in the black velvet bag that came in the box. My style held all day and didn't leave my hair feeling dry. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a straightener and/or curling wand

I absolutely love this hair straightener! I have naturally thin and wavy hair, so I struggle with straighteners as it can take forever to get my hair straight (i have a lot of hair). Since this styler gets hot very quickly and maintains its heat it was a lot easier to use. I like how you dont have to hold the plates together when you use it, as its natural state in closed and u have to press to open it. I found this to be a lot easier on my hands as I didnt have to hold it closed all the time. It is also very light which further helped. When I first started using this I was really confused about the purpose of the air blowing out of it. After some research I found out it was to help dissipate heat and reduce damage. I can’t really tell if it worked as I probably havent used it enough to notice damage regardless, but I can understand the concept. It also would randomly turn off after around 30 mins of being on. Im not sure if its a self-timer to turn off or it is glitching? But it was quite annoying as Id often be halfway through a strand and it would disrupt the flow of the process. That is the reason it lost a point.

I tried the Lady Jayne Aria Wave Air styler, and I’m quite happy with this product. I feel that the straightening function is pretty average on this styler, and it won’t be replacing my current straightener any time soon. However, the air/curling function is amazing! I usually struggle to curl my hair, but I couldn’t believe the curls this styler produced - the curls were so high and held well. The styler is beautifully packaged, and looks quite sleek with pink accents. It feels nice to hold and is comfortable to use. Would definitely recommend as a curler!

The Lady Jayne® ARIA WAVE™ Air Styler is a nice black and metallic rose coloured hair styler which can be used to achieve smooth straight hair or soft curls. It comes with a nice black velvet pouch which can be used to store the styling tool. The ceramic plates can be set to any of the five temperatures from 140°C to 220°C. You press and hold the power button to turn on the styling tool, and click on the button again to toggle between the temperatures. I found the light indicator for the temperature settings to be a little hard to notice. There is an additional button, Air Button, which turns on or off the warm and cold air flow which comes out of the precision air vents on the curved barrels on the outside of the tool. The hair styling tool is connected by a 360° swivel cord, which makes it far more easier to use why styling. The clamp is more similarly structure to curlers, where you press on the thumb grip to open the clamps, than clamping straighteners. I prefer the tongs like clamping mechanism as I find it more sturdy in clamping my hair. The ARIA WAVE Air Styler was easy enough to use and straighten my elbow length hair, though took me a bit longer to complete compared to other brands. The Precision air vents were useful when I was trying to curl my hair. I was able to create nice waves, though would sometimes get my hair caught in the insides of the clamps and I did get some frizz. I found waves were much easier to create than curls, but these could be a user error. I like the versatility in the product, relative ease of use, swivel cord and new air vent feature. But this is not my favourite hair styling tool.

The Lady Jayne Aria Wave Air Styler is fantastic for straightening and curling my hair. It would be up there in line of top air stylers and competitive with popular brands. I found my ideal temperature on my thick frizzy hair is about 160-180 degrees. It goes up to 220 degrees. It heats up fast. I would of liked to have a beep sound when it heated up to my selected temperature though. The handling design of this air styler was comfortable to hold and is easy to manoeuvre from top of hair roots for straightening down hair without snags. The plate clamp holds hair so well when straightening as well as when creating the curls. The cord swivels also and I didn't get caught up when moving it around my head. The air flow was interesting as I have never had a styler with this technology. It provides a cool airflow which I think helped lock in my curls but I didn't use it much and my curls still stayed in place well. It has tamed my frizz and wavy hair so well. Its probably my daily favourite hair tool now! I highly recommend this air styler.

Love this innovative new product from Lady Jayne for hair styling. The air styler gives you freedom to straighten and curl hair with one product even with an inbuilt fan setting to cool hair creating effortless styling. I enjoyed the variety of heat settings and how quickly the product heated up compared to other straighteners I have used. Personally I am not the best at curling but this product made the process less scary and gave me ease of use, definitely motivated me to give some more curling practice. The product came with a beautiful velvet bag to keep everything together and protected which was a lovely surprise. I naturally have very curly and frizzy hair so when straightening it takes me a few rounds on the hair to get my desired look but with the air styler I was shocked on how smooth and straight my hair stayed just after one round and continued to reduced frizz throughout the day. Such a quick and easy to use product with a high quality feel for a fraction of the price. Overall this product is innovate, seemless and stylish and would definitely recommend!

This air styler is versatile as it functions as a curler and straightener in the one device. I especially loved the temperature setting function which allows you to choose a temperature between 140 degrees and 220 degrees. It also has a fan function that helps cool your hair whilst styling. I personally found the curling function a little challenging and not as easy I would have imagined however, this could be due to me not being an expert curler, I will need to practice some more. The hair straightening function was simple and easy to use. I also loved that the device came with a drawstring felt bag to store the device in once you've finished using it.

Once I’ve parted my hair one section at a time I like to straighten my hair from the base of my head working my way up to the sides then top and finishing with the hair around my face. I have thicker hair which is also frizzy so usually select the highest heat seating I’ve successfully straightened it on 180,200 and 220 with this styler turning it down to its lowest setting of 140 to use the air styling setting to help me with less frizz and flyaways at the end. I take a section of hair and press down the handle to straighten each section then again to release, I’m not sure if it because my hair is longer but have found it pulls some of my hair out midway and have found I need to release my hair then re clamp to complete. I have enjoyed not having to go over my sections multiple times to achieve a smooth and frizz and flyaway free result. I would recommend this to my family and friends perhaps with shorter hair than me and would repurchase myself based on the results and not having to use such high heat setting which will help maintain the health of my hair.

I really enjoyed this straightener and will continue to use it. The product is very light weight and I found it easy to use. The tool heats up very quickly which is important to me and I liked the different temperature settings. My hair is long, wavy and frizzy. After use my hair was very sleek and flyways were very minimal. The style lasted all day. I enjoyed using the cool feature with curling which was a great added bonus and it really helped waves stay in longer. It was also very easy to use at the back of the hair which can be difficult for me but the light weight nature of the tool made it very easy. Great product, lightweight. Compact and can be stored in the travel pouch, multiple heat settings and the cool shot was great.

I will admit, it took me a while to get used to the Aria Wave Air Styler. It's kind of a hybrid tong/plate/air heat tool, and I really struggled to get my head around to begin with, but once I got it, i really grew to love it. I have long, thick, straight hair, that it is extremely difficult to get shape/curl into, but this worked wonders for my hair, and it's all down to the my favourite part - the in-built fan. Turning this on means you can simultaneously create and set curls, so once I'd done a section, it was already cooled before the weight of my hair had time to drop it out. No having to set with rollers or clips, and no lost volume or curls - it's really brilliant. I have been using it to create big, lush, blow-out style hair, as well as to refresh downstyles or to quickly put curls or volume into curtain bangs and face framing sections of updos. It's easy to use, and the design works better than straightener curls - since the Air Styler clamps the hair in place, I was able to focus on the angle and glide of each section, rather than holding plates together with a traditional straightener. And no hand cramps, Win win. I would absolutely purchase again, and wouldn't hesitated to buy as a gift for family and friends.

After drying my hair with the Lady Jayne Air Hairdryer I section my hair ready for straightening. Once plugged in I select the 200 degrees option my pressing down the power button until I get to my desired temperature. Taking a section I press down on the clamp to seperate the plates then starting from the roots I glide it down towards the ends. I have found this smooths my hair after one go on the roots however after using for a couple of weeks I find it pulls my hair a bit to combat this I release it after doing my roots then de attach it again mid way down. It is lightweight to hold and comes with a protectant pouch which I put down to place the straightener on when using. With some tinkering I did my my desired results, my favourite part was of this product is the heating and cooling airflow which for my I find the cool air helps combat frizz and I’ve not experienced this with a hair straightener before. If it didn’t pull my hair I would buy another when needed and would recommend to family and friends.

I recieved this as part of the reviewcrew to trial and mostly used to straighten my hair as I am hopeless at curling and creating waves in my hair. I found this to straighten quite well, within about 10-15 minutes my long, thick, wavy hair was kink free and straight. One thing that I didn't like was that my hair kept snagging and tearing in the plates which was quite annoying and painful. I found it to heat up relatively quickly and cool down quick after using. If the plates were better designed so that snagging and tearing didn't happen I think I would like this a bit more, but because it was quite painful to use at times I didn't enjoy using as much as I wanted to. Perhaps best suited for short hair, long hair will snag

I loved the lady jayne styler as it was light and compact tool but could both straighten and curl! So easy to throw into my bag if I can't decide what style I want. I also loved that the wand was a round barrel so it made it super easy to create bouncy waves. The plates for straightening glided down my hair and didn't catch at any points. It worked perfectly for any styling I wanted to do. However, I will say I didnt really notice a difference with the airflow setting that is meant to help set your hair more. Having it on vs off didn't change anything in my hair personally. The tool also feels a bit cheap in terms of material, but it worked fantastic so can't really complain. Overall very happy with it!

I really enjoyed the waves and curls I was able to create in my hair with this tool! Overall it heats up quickly, is easy to use and is light weight to hold. My only concern is that since I have very thick and long hair it can take a significant amount of time for me to curl all of my hair. This is an issue I have struggled with across multiple hair stylers. The tool is very sturdy and is on par with high end tools from big name brands. It was easy to create both a wave and curl by using this tool, making it quite versatile as a hair tool overall.
