La Roche-Posay Hyalu B5 Hyaluronic Acid Anti-Ageing Serum

I bought this to try as La-Roche Posay has a reputation for amazing skincare and I have tried a few products from them before and loved them. The texture of the serum is nice, it is not too runny but not thick either. It’s more of a gel/serum feel and I found it to be only very slightly tacky. The scent is nice, I had no issue with it whatsoever and thought it was actually subtle but nice. The serum itself is not heavy or greasy and made my face very hudrated and plump. I have only been using it for a short time and have enjoyed the hydration it has provided my skin. I don’t have many wrinkles, just a few fine lines so it’s a bit hard to comment on that. I also found the packaging was simple but nice and had no problem with the dropper. The price point is somewhat affordable. It’s not considered cheap but not as expensive as some other serums on the market. If it delivers what it claims (which it has so far for me), then I would say it’s good value for money. I forgot to mention I have combination skin with normal and some dry patches and loved this.

Usually a fan of La Roche-Posay products I was excited to try this product. A unique blend of ingredients I had not tried together before. I found this product went on smoothly and made my skin feel plump. Although this product is targeted for drier skin types (I have combination/oily skin) I still benefited using this product. I look forward to continuing to use this product and see it's benefits in the longer term. It's only downfall was the scent a little strong for me. I would likely repurchase this product or try another serum from this La Roche-Posay.

I have incorporated this serum into my morning routine, in place of my regular Hyaluronic serum and ensure to use it prior to my moisturiser to ensure it soaks into the skin. After the first use, I found my skin to feel so soft and smooth, with the feeling lasting all day. I did not experience any breakouts from using the serum, and have noticed a visible difference in the plumpness of my skin. I love the packaging and scent of the product is refreshing, and makes me feel that I am using a luxurious product. I do find the price to be a little steep compared to my usual serum, however the hydrating effects are definitely better.

I really enjoyed this serum. It didn’t break me out, the consistency was nice it didn’t leave any residue or pilling behind and was pleasant to smell. Compared to the vitamin c I felt this serum was far easier to use and dispense from the dropped provided. I felt my skin was hydrated and it gave a healthy glow that lasted for a good period of time after application. Makeup applied well over the top of this serum with no primer used. The serum didn’t break up my foundation nor make me oily or shiny throughout the day.

La Roche-Posay Hyalu B5 Hyaluronic Acid Serum is a super light weight formula. Initially I felt a little hesitant to add a new product into my routine, but at the same time felt like I was really lacking some moisture replenishing products. So I gave it a go. And I can 100% say I'm so glad I did. I added it into my morning and night routine right after cleansing. The consistency is probably one of the best serum consistencies I've ever tried. It's thick enough to feel like you're putting something on your face and thin enough that it spreads easily and offers an even coverage. A little really does go a long way with this, which means you don't need to buy it super often. I found a few drops was able to cover my neck and my face easily. All in all I am super happy with La Roche-Posay Hyalu B5 Hyaluronic Acid Serum as a product and had no problems incorporating it into my routine, this is a staple.

I don't use many serums and haven't really used a hyaluronic serum as part of my skincare routine, so was really excited to try this, as I otherwise wouldn't have bought it myself. The bottle is a good size for the price and you only need a couple of drops for your entire face, which makes it economical. It's also not too big that you're using it for months on end and is likely to go off. The dropper itself only sucked in a drop or two of liquid so I would rather it have been a pump style bottle. I don't find the bottle having a separate lid useful, it seems more like a waste of plastic once you've opened the bottle to use. The texture of serum is thick enough that it feels super hydrating but doesn't leave you feeling sticky or like you have a thick layer of cream on. This is perfect for the winter as I have combination skin and my skin gets so dry in the winter. My skin has been feeling more hydrated than it has in the previous weeks, but otherwise I haven't noticed much else different. Can't say much about the anti-ageing effects of the serum having not used it for long though. The scent is also light and pleasant, and not overpowering. I will definitely be adding this to my routine, however was unsure if the product was to be used everyday or only a few times a week. The RRP for the bottle is on the more expensive side, but I feel like it's a good investment for your skin.

I felt so privileged to be given the opportunity to trial La Roche-Posay Hyalu B5 Hyaluronic Acid Anti-Ageing Serum! Upon opening the crisp design packaging, I was excited to find an almost iridescent looking serum, beautifully bottled up in blue glass (which appeared to me, like the promise of a sample from the fountain of youth). Again, excited! The serum scent is not overpowering, almost light floral notes that would actually make a pleasant perfume. Included for application was a delicate glass dropper, which made applying the serum effortless and not at all messy, so as not to waste a precious drop. I dispensed perfect Pearl like drops to my fingertips; the water-gel consistency meant that it didn’t just absorb into my fingers before applying to my face. Once gently applied to my skin using my fingertip, it absorbed naturally and didn’t leave a sticky residue feeling. Soon after application, I did notice my skin (particularly under my eyes) felt softer, almost spongey. There was a refreshing cool feeling left to my skin from the serum. Overall, such a beautiful product to trial and I’m so excited to continue to use and see the benefits!

Overall I was very pleased with this product. Pros - Smell and feel are lovely. When applying on the face, it felt very smooth and applied very easily. The fragrance was very pleasant. Once applied, I liked the fresh sheen it gave. It made my skin look dewy. My skin stayed like this for an extended period of time, which was nice. I had positive results with the wrinkles around my eyes and frown lines on the mid brow. I will continue using and applying this. Cons - The dropper felt and acted cheap. It squeaked every time you pumped, it dribbled out and I could never get the serum up the dropper enough. I really hope they change the dropper because I did not like it. I have highly acne sensitive skin. Unfortunately my acne did not like this product and caused break outs. Otherwise my skin felt good. However, due to increased acne, I had to stop applying over my whole face, only concentrating on the eyes and brow frown line, which was successful. Overall, I would buy this product again

This serum felt smooth, fresh, and had a lovely hydrating water-gel formula. The infusion of thermal spring water was a nice touch and was easy to dispense too. The product states to do the following: - Hyaluronic acid reduces wrinkles, re-plumps the skin, and increases skin volume and elasticity - Vitamin B5 improves skin's repairing process - La Roche-Posay Thermal Spring Water provides antioxidants for skin These are big claims and I can't confirm them all, but I can say that my skin's complexion improved and I noticed a nice glow and shine. I love that it's also specifically formulated for those with sensitive skin, which is perfect for me. Overall, I thought it was a nice product that did the job at a reasonable price.

The La-Roche-Posay Hyla B5 Hyluronic acid Anti-Ageing Serum is a Luxe product. I have been using the medik8 one but now have permanently switched this the La-Roche one as the quality is just as fantastic and well priced. I have also used the other products in the latest release and together they all work amazing. My skin has never looked so clear and i feel like the fine lines and pores have significantly reduced. friends and family have said i noticeably look less tired and my skin is glowing. A bonus is that you can purchase this product at chemist warehouse and it is affordable. It is great if you are just getting into skincare and also if you are on a budget. The texture is beautiful and sinks into the skin, it is not tacky and gooey like other brands i have used. It would be the perfect gift along with the other 2 products. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking to amp up their skin care!

I found this serum quite sticky, tacky, and when I applied it, it kind of just sat on top of my skin and didn't fully absorb. When I tried layering it with my moisturiser and makeup, it caused pilling. Of course that could just be my oily skin type and skin barrier. Like the other La Roche-Posey serums it comes in a hygienic bottle with dropper. I found it had a lot of unnecessary added ingredients, which may also explain the pilling, sticky texture, and being unable to absorb properly. I've used hyaluronic acid serums before from another brand without any issues. I might recommend this to somebody else, but it just didn't work for me, sorry. Thanks for letting me trial this, and I'll probably pass it onto someone else who enjoys this. Sorry, but not a lot more to say about this serum.

This serum was a god send in this cold , winter weather. My skin had dry patches around my forehead and jawline. This serum helped to treat the dry patches bringing my skin back to smoothness and hydration. Love the packaging it comes in. Feels clinical and Sleek. The pipette is easy to use and dispense and you can control the amount of product to dispense. The serum is slightly heavy but it was easy to spread around face. My skin absorbed it well. What I didn't like was the scent. It has a soapy floral fragrance which took time to get a bit use to. My skin stayed hydrated throughout the day, and did not feel tight dry or irritated at all. I enjoyed the supple and smooth texture of my skin as a result of using this serum. Even though the consistency of this product is on the thicker side, it did not cause any pilling and this serum worked well with other products too. Also would like to mention , I had a skin needling session done professionally and after that my skin was irritated and started peeling. So I used this serum, and helped to soothe my skin and helped to repair my skin quicker. I find this serum a basic necessity for my skin to keep at optimum condition so i will always repurchase and continue the use.

The La Roche-Posay Hyalu B5 Hyaluronic Acid Anti-Aging Serum is by far one of the best serums I have used. I was so excited to try it and it definitely didn’t disappoint! The serum comes in a very neat and tidy package which definitely looks it’s value. The colours and branding show that it looks professional and effective. I have used a lot of serums in the past and often find them a bit oily or greasy, this one however completely absorbs into the skins whilst still leaving it hydrated. It is a gel consistency and really easy to spread. The dropper is easy to use and allows for the perfect amount for each application. The smell is pleasant and not too overpowering which is good when you are applying it to your face. I have definitely found an improvement in skin texture and fine lines. And I have loved that it hasn’t dried out my skin at all. I will definitely be buying this again as it has been an amazing product to use and is highly effective in what it says it does. I would also recommend it to anyone interested in trying a serum or thinking about adding something to their skincare routine.

I loved using this serum. My skin has never felt as hydrated, soft or supple. After weeks of using it morning and night, I can only see a slight difference in my fine lines but the moisture it gave my skin outweighed that. The only thing I really didn’t like was the sticky film it gave my skin especially in the morning . At night I could get away with it but during the day I had to pat my skin dry before applying my normal daily routine as I looked overly wet and shiny. Overall a great product but not one I would use on a regular basis due to the sticky and tacky feeling

I was so happy to trial the La Roche-Posay Hyalu B5 Hyaluronic Acid Anti-Ageing Serum. I was in need of an anti wrinkle serum to intensely hydrate and re-plump my skin. It comes in a nice blue bottle that looks great and also comes with a separate dropper to dispense the product. The consistency is great its not to think or watery it comes out clear and is easily spread on the skin. I only needed 2 drops so i found that it would last a long time so its worth its value. It left my skin looking hydrated and glowy it was not sticky to touch after which was great. My skin is sensitive and i had no reactions to the product which was great. I would prefer no fragrance if there was an option. I found this product excellent to use but i still put on a moisturiser on top but my skin definitely feels firmer as a result of this product

I have been using this product for about four weeks. During this time I have noticed improvements to my skin’s texture, plumpness and overall appearance. The packaging is sleek and well designed. Using the product, I used two drops on freshly cleansed skin morning and night, gently applied toy face and neck. The product absorbs quickly, with no sticky residue or tackiness to the skin like some other products on the market. I noticed an instant improvement in the plumpness of my skin. Over the four weeks of using the serum, I noticed a definite improvement in the appearance of my skin. My makeup went on smoothly and I received lots of compliments from friends about how it looked. I’m very happy with the product and will definitely buy it again, loved it.

Unlike many hyaluronic serums, this one absorbs quickly into the skin and leaves you juicy and plump rather than sticky and wet. The smell is somewhat chemically, but not in a strong way, more so a clean fresh way. My skin is sensitive and this seems to calm it instantly. The price point is also much better than some of the really expensive serums. I would give it five stars however have only used it for a couple of weeks so I’m not sure yet if there will be any long term changes in my skin. I love it though. Defs will repurchase as my skin feels so much more hydrated than before. Fave hyaluronic I’ve tried!

This is a great serum if you suffer from dry and sensitised skin! For me, keeping my skin hydrated is a non-negotiable step in my skincare routine and I am always on the lookout for quality and affordable hydration serums. The LRP Hyaluronic serum ticks all the right boxes - its light but still extremely hydrating, it layers really well under the rest of my day and night skincare products, and it doesnt irritate my skin which can be really sensitive (especially in the cooler months). The price point is really affordable for such a high quality product and its also widely available meaning that if you run out you're not left in a pinch. I think this is an all round great serum and is a great alternative and performs just as well / better than those pricier products out there. I will definitely repurchase!!

I've been using this serum for about 3 weeks now and have to say I really have enjoyed the results. The texture is nice and light – not too greasy which is a plus for my acne prone skin. After first few uses, I noticed a brighter, more hydrated complexion which I love! It's great under makeup and moisturiser to give you that extra bit of glow and hydration in these colder months. I can't say it's helped with wrinkles just yet but will continue to use and in the meantime enjoy the other benefits. My skin is fairly sensitive and I've had some scarring/loss of elasticity over the years due to previous bouts of acne. This actually helped reduce those signs of dull skin and scarring by hydrating and brightening the skin texture, so overall really like this product and will continue to use. I have been using both day and night followed by an oil and moisturiser.

Really impressed with this product, I received the B5 as part of the ReviewCrew but it was already on my list to try. Very hydrating and actually melts into the skin. I actually feel it hydrating my skin like nothing I have tried before. Other Hyaluronic acid's that come with less of a price tag are often thin, sticky and sit on the skin, this is the complete opposite. I am very impressed with La Roche-Posay as usual and will be re-purchasing again, only down fall is the $60 price tag but I am thinking it is worth it.
