After years of dealing with dry, brittle hair from using Head & Shoulders and constantly being recommended expensive products by hairdressers, I was desperate for something that actually worked. I have never used a pre shampoo before so I didn’t know what to expect. My first impression was I love the bottle and the smell of the product is to die for. I would purchase this product again for the smell alone. It’s very smooth to apply and a great way to prime the hair before using the shampoo. You only need a couple of pumps to cover all your hair so a little goes a long way. After using the product I have noticed a noticeable difference to my hair. My hair is naturally dry and damaged however this product has significantly improved the quality and enabled a natural shine. Highly recommend this product in conjunction with the shampoo and conditioner for best results.

I had the opportunity to try the whole set & this was one of the major winners for me. I have extremely fine, thin hair, that is prone to breaking if I'm too rough with it. the pre-shampoo was a great, gentle start to cleansing that meant I wasn't tempted to overdo it with the next step. The scent is lovely, very fresh & layered nicely with the whole set. The major drawback is the cost - this is not an affordable product line! If finances are not an issue, then go for it, but there are affordable alternatives that give a slightly less luxurious experience, but still do the job just as nicely.

This product literally changed my hair. It was heavy and felt so worn down and now if feels light, clean and stronger. I will be continuing to buy this in the future - OBSESSED. I used it per the instructions with the shampoo and it was easy, non oily and smelt luxurious. My hairdresser has advised to use in conjunction with my normal routine as it's not going to continue to have a massive impact on my hair in the future. Definitely something I'll be buying at least every 6 months in the future. Will also be bringing on any trips where I will have to get exposure to hard water as it completely got rid of that yucky, heavy look.

However, the fragrance is quite strong. While it is pleasant, it can be a bit overpowering at times. But overall the product has been effective for improving my hair texture and scalp health. I've never tried any Kerastase products before, nor have I never used a "pre-shampoo" product before in my life so I knew this was going to be interesting! I used this alongside the Repairing Shampoo and Repairing Conditioner in the same range, and it honestly just felt like such a treat!  I started by making sure my hair was damp, before pumping several pumps of the product into the palm of my hand and working it throughout my hair. There is a slight scent, but not too noticeable or overpowering. Texture wise I'd compare it to that of a hair oil, with a slightly more gel-like consistency.  It was easy to spread throughout the lengths of my hair, and I finished up by putting my hair into a loose bun and covering it up with a shower cap for about 5 minutes. Then I jumped straight into the shower and without washing it out, used the Repairing Shampoo in the same range on top.  It washed out easily with the shampoo and while it definitely adds more time into your hair washing routine, oh boy is it worth it! I don't know what's actually in this, but it's gotta be pure magic. The last time my hair felt this soft was after coming out of a two hour session at a Japanese hair spa. It is most definitely the prices product I've ever used on my hair, but you really do get some salon quality hair as a result!

From consistent use of this product, you can see results: my once-frizzy strands are now smooth and vibrant and full of life.

The pre-shampoo comes in an easy to use pump bottle which I much prefer to tubes. The product itself is a clear liquid that smells quite nice and leaves my hair feeling fresher and stronger. I do find that I need to use the Kérastase Première Intensive Repairing Concentrate Pre-Shampoo quite generously to get coverage of all the strands. I follow it up with the shampoo before rinsing and it lathers really nicely. Overall would recommend the product however wish you could purchase all three as a bundle somehow!

Wow, I'm amazed. I thought it couldn't get better than K18. But this product really is so impressive. I thought the only solution was cutting my hair. I do feel you need to continue using it to keep up results, not a 1-time application, but the straw-brittleness completely went away. I'm not a fan of an additional step, having damp hair for 5 minutes before shampooing but it's so so worth it. Likewise, I feel I need to use it quite a bit to get coverage, which is annoying when it's an expensive product, but again, really worth it to maintain the length of your hair.

I've been a long time fan of Kerastase. If I've ever needed to change salons, I've always considered whether they use Kerastase products, meaning I'd never really considered using them at home - I always thought they were a bit too lux, salon quality and all that jazz but I'm definitely an at home convert now. This programme of products (along with the bain/shampoo and the conditioner/rinse out) has done wonders for my hair. The idea of having a pre-shampoo treatment is completely new to me - it always seemed like a treatment or a mask was something you did afterwards but this is a game changer. The consistency is serum like, and a little bit definitely goes a long way. It's a great preparation for the cleansing coming up and I'm just amazed that it seems to me, no one had thought of this before!

I tried this as part of the Kerastase Premiere Set (including the shampoo and conditioner). With all Kerastase products I have tried, they always look impressive in their packaging, and that is then followed by the luxurious smell when you open one of their bottles. If the product works as well as how amazing it smells then it has to be great right?. There is no exception here, as this felt wonderful on my scalp and felt like it was doing what it promised to do. The directions say to use 4/5 pumps to spread through but I found I did have to use nearly double that to feel like I was working the product through my hair effectively. In a first for me the directions also state that you leave this product on your hair for a few mins and put the shampoo directly on top without rinsing out. It certainly feels like a premium experience and I found that the shampoo went on easily combining with the pre-shampoo.
