I've been using this product twice a week for the past 3 weeks. As someone with Asian hair that's undergone multiple bleaching sessions, I constantly battle with breakage and damage. The product's consistency makes application effortless, and it has a pleasant smell. While I haven't noticed a significant reduction in breakage, the immediate softness it provides keeps me coming back. My hair feels smooth and shines all day. However, I would note that it might not be suitable for fine hair that gets oily quickly, as it feels more on the heavier side. Despite this, the product's ability to make my hair feel silky and manageable encourages me to continue using it.

John Frieda Blonde+ Shampoo Does seem to have helped build those fibres! My blond hair does now look like it got a life to it after using the John Frieda Blonde+ Shampoo followed by its conditioner. I allow some time to lather and massage hair to work its magic on the hair and help repair. I do recommend this great John Frieda Blonde+ product to all Blondies or anyone with dyed hair generally. Will definitely continue to use John Frieda Blonde+ products range. Thank you for giving this opportunity to trial this great product.

I got this shampoo to try during the most necessary time. My hair was really fried after all the crazy hair colours that I have done. I was really skeptical at first to try this shampoo as nothing has done much to heal it. I would be honest it did take a little patience and consistency from my side but I can feel my hair getting better. This shampoo is not expensive and has perfect lather and smell which I loved. I would keep using this product and would definitely recommend using. I got some compliments from people about my hair as well so I am very happy.

John Frieda Blonde+ Shampoo - disappointed this system didn’t work for my hair type. I have natural curls that are foil bleached/toned to a snowy blonde, this ‘Step 2’ of the ‘3 Step’ process didn’t do 1 positive thing for my hair. It left an ever so slight oiliness at the roots & enough weight throughout to flop my curls! It is a simple process to use. It has a pleasant scent. I did need to shampoo twice to feel my roots were adequately clean, by then my ends felt like straw. I wasn’t left with a softness from a quality product that’s bonded with my hair. I didn’t notice an increase in my hairs strength after 5 washes. I wouldn’t recommend for natural curls.

A really nice shampoo, that rinses well and leaves hair feeling soft and manageable. My hair was easier to style with the support of this product and my blonde looked brighter. I have been using this product for a few weeks now and feel in the long term my hair will be stronger and easier to manage. I followed this product with the matching pre-treatment and conditioner, all 3 products worked well together. My hair felt great but my scalp became a little sensitive and itchy when I used all 3 products together. I might try separating the products out? Thus the 4 stars. My scalp has a tendency to become sensitive, this may not affect others.

I loved this shampoo. It lathers beautifully and a little goes a long way. I definitely have felt like my hair has gotten stronger over the last month of using this system. The shampoo also has a clarifying affect as I felt like it got rid of a lot of build up in my hair leaving my hair feeling very clean but not stripped. I adore the smell of this whole system! It leaves your hair feeling so delicious and lingers for a while! There aren’t many great strengthening systems at the supermarket especially for hair that’s breaking and very damaged so this is such a score!

After using the shampoo regularly, I've started to notice that my hair has become incredibly dry and brittle. It's like it's sucking the moisture right out of my hair! I've always had dry ends, but this is on a whole new level. My hair feels like straw to the touch, and it's become prone to tangling and breaking off.

This is a fantastic blonde shampoo. John Frieda’s blonde+ repair system shampoo lathers well and has a beautiful decadent scent. Leaves hair feeling strong & clean. Just like the label says, it strengthens & builds new bonds directly at the hair fibre and is noticeable even after the first use my hair still felt lush & silky after rinsing and not matted and knotted. I have blonde hair down to my waist, with split ends dry ends and mid lengths. I often have problems with a shampoo that can treat from root to tip as usually after 2 days I need to wash my hair again stripping all the oils :( This shampoo treats all areas of the hair from root to tip. I can go up to 4-5 days to a week without washing my hair if I wanted to since using this product. I highly recommend using John Frieda’s blonde+ repair system shampoo. My hair is ready, primmed & primed for the blonde+ repair system conditioner.

The smell of this product! I absolutely love the clean and fresh smell this product and the entire line has. I have been bleaching my hair now for about 4 years and usually use olaplex but am trying to transition back to brunette and want a cheaper alternative. It is far too expensive. I have never been able to find a product that matches olaplex but I’m starting to believe this line can! It made my hair super shiny and feel super strong just after a few washes. The only complaint I have about the shampoo is that it is slightly thinner than the olaplex shampoo and doesn’t lather up as nice. For the price it doesn’t really bother me but I know I would use up the entire bottle quicker than usual.

I really enjoyed this blonde shampoo for my bleached hair. My hair felt really clean after using it, and looked shiny and fresh. I tend to find some blonde shampoos drying, but this one didn’t have that effect at all. With this is mind, it also didn’t make my hair feel greasy and oily, and my hair still lasted the same amount of time in between washes. My favourite way to use this shampoo is together with the pre treatment and the conditioner. On its own, it doesn’t quite have the same impact as without the other two products. Using all three together is a dream! I would purchase this product again, but only as part of the 3 step routine, I wouldn’t purchase it by itself. I really like that you can find quality drug store shampoos for bleaches and damaged blonde hair, it’s a big win!

I have been using this for a few weeks now and love it. As someone who washes their hair once a week it thoroughly cleanses the hair without leaving it dry and frizzy. It smells pleasant and leaves my hair shiny and not dull. I have been using it as part of the 3 step package and my hair seems to remain smooth even in rainy weather! As a highlighted blonde I have been searching for the right shampoo that doesn’t overtone or dull my colour and this is excellent. Will definitely be buying again.

Best shampoo I have used in a long time definitely has that salon quality too it! I love that it's not as soapy feeling as regular shampoos and gives a conditioning feel to it, really beneficial to my dry hair. I tend to put a hair conditioner mask at the end of my hair washing routine to reduce the dry staw like feeling I can get if not cared properly but decided to skip it when trialling this product. With using all 3 steps in this product line my hair was soft, frizz had reduced and I had less fallout between washes. I definitely recommend this product to anyone who has damaged hair, dry and unmanageable hair also anyone just wanting to increase the strength and shine of thier natural hair. I will definitely continue to be using this product as it's better then my current shampoo and good value for money.

I was fortunate enough to have been picked to trial this shampoo, the preshampoo and conditioner. First of all, I don't have blonde hair. In fact I have a bright copper colour. These products are for bond building so I had high hopes for them and they didn't disappoint. The first time I used them I started with the pre-shampoo treatment. They had left me with light, swishy hair with amazing shine. The shampoo and conditioner alone maintained the pre-shampoo treatment results in between using the treatment. This shampoo didn't make my hair feel dry or weighed down. After rinsing it it just felt clean without a stripped feeling. Finishing with the conditioner and then styling my hair, it feels light and soft. After using it for a while I don't feel any build up or greasiness. I get great results everytime. I will continue to use these and recommend them to anyone whether they have blonde hair or not.

Left my hair feeling super soft and not brittle at all. I was worried it was going to be super drying but didn’t feel that way. Lovely undertones and really combatted my brassiness so well. Tamed my frizz also, much less post work with straightener that is usually required!! Would definitely recommend (particularly to use all three in conjunction with each other as the trio works super nicely), left no residue and my hair felt super smooth afterwards! I tend to stick to my routine products but I found this really good and would definitely use again.

If you're looking for a damage repairing shampoo that adds brightness to your blonde hair for a cleaner blonde look, this one is great! I really love the scent and consistency of this shampoo, and in my opinion, it's very comparable to Olaplex. I find it's got enough body to it to feel repairing and nourishing, however it's not a really heavy formula and it still works into a creamy lather. In terms of cleansing though, this shampoo didn't tick that box for me. My hair felt more repaired, but it wasn't the best at actually removing build-up on my scalp and hair. I also found I preferred to use the shampoo once rather than doing a double cleanse like I normally would, as the formula felt like it could be too drying when used twice. Overall, I think this product is a winner for brightening and repairing, so I'd personally recommend using the full Blonde+ repair system once a week, and then shampooing with a clarifying/cleansing shampoo in-between those washes.

I was very lucky to receive these products to review and I wasn't disappointed. I have tried other similar products, but the John Frieda Blonde Repair system is the best. The pre-shampoo treatment, step 1, was something I was not used to using. I normally just use shampoo and conditioner. My hair felt silky and soft after applying and rinsing my hair. It was quite thick and not like shampoo. I then used the shampoo and was very happy with the fragrance. I have strawberry blond hair and the only tool I use is a hairdryer. It does get a little bit dry at the ends though. After using the Blond repair system I noticed how different my hair felt. It felt soft, thick and bouncy. I would definitely recommend it.
