INIKA Loose Mineral Foundation SPF25

A really wonderful mineral foundation!  Offers beautiful medium to buildable coverage with a natural finish and lasts through a good 8-10 hour day with only minimal wear.  I deducted a star because the shade selection could definitely do with expanding, plus I think the price point is very high.  I have a difficult time justifying almost $60 for a mineral foundation with so many more affordable options available, but I have no complaints about the product itself.

I love that this product is a foundation, powder and concealer in one, also love the addition of spf 25 to protect my skin. The inika mineral foundation is easy to use, for anyone who has never tried a mineral foundation I would recommend this. The classy packaging and tub with screw top lid mean there is no mess, just swirl a quality foundation brush in the product, tap to remove excess and swirl over face. It gives a great coverage and conceals imperfections for a truly professional finish. This makes my olive skin glow but adds no oil or shine, just a nice Matt radiance, I used the shade trust and it blended beautifully. I would recommend using a great primer first for even better results. This product is all natural and vegan and is great value as I never need to use a lot. Absolutely love this and totally recommend it.

This gives a beautiful, radiant finish. I have the shade Trust, which matches my skin nicely. I have medium to tan skin with more yellow-olive undertones. The packaging is easy to use- I like to tap the product onto the lid and then use a brush to apply it to my face. The powder isn't finely milled, but blends into the skin easily anyway. It provides a decent coverage- it doesn't cover up everything, but rather evens out my complexion. If you want more coverage, I find it works well on top of BB creams or liquid foundations.  I have normal skin, and after a few hours my skin starts to get a little bit oily on my forehead and nose, but I don't mind it because it looks more like a glow. If you have oily skin though, I'm not sure how it would go. Overall, I love this to even out my complexion and give a radiant glow. It's also great to set down liquid foundations for a bit of extra coverage.

I have wanted to wear and love mineral foundations since they first came out. Natural,lightweight,good for skin and easy to apply? Whats not to love there! Unfortunately the reality of it had been nothing like the advertisements made it out to be. Difficult,messy and uneven with strange oxidization that made me look orange or brown later in the day was more the reality for me. After hearing so many good things about Inika, I figured I would give the mineral makeup experimenting one more chance. And I am so glad I did. The foundation came in a handy sized plastic tub with a black screw top lid. The texture is quite a thicker powder than a few I had previously tried and I found this to be  positive as when opening and dispensing , its easier to get the right amount than with the finer powders . When used with the Inika brush, I found the mineral makeup is picked up easily with a quick swirl in the container. A gentle tap removes excess and it really is simple and easy to apply after that! A few swirls of this powder over the face and you are left with beautifully even coverage that feels lightweight and looks like you are wearing nothing at all. Best of all it stays the color it was when applied! No oxidising or creasing throughout the day-if anything,it looks better by the end of the day! It may seem a little pricey but only a little is needed for an even medium coverage so it lasts quite a few months . I have tried many before it and this is one of the only ones that actually is natural looking and easy to apply. I'd recommend this for anyone who wants a good, quality mineral makeup that actually does everything we have been told a mineral makeup will do!

I've been using this product for a number of years and I can't fault it. Firstly, you can use it as a concealer before you apply the foundation using the beautiful kabuki brush. Product stays in place all day and does not feel heavy or look obvious.
