Herbal Essences bio:renew Potent Aloe & Avocado Oil Nourishing Conditioner

One of the main things I look for in a conditioner is the ability to detangle while keeping my hair moisturised - and the Potent Aloe & Avocado Oil Nourishing Conditioner delivered on both fronts. Like the shampoo and argan oil hair mask (which the conditioner pairs perfectly with), it smelt amazing and a little product went a long way. After blow drying my hair, it felt really silky and smooth, with very little frizz and noticeable damage. It was also very easy to manage for days afterwards. I am very pleased with the results and will definitely be re-stocking once I finish the bottle!

I love that you can find good quality hair care at the supermarket now. I personally only purchase salon products but this line from Herbal Essences demonstrates how hair care has changed and morphed into more affordable options while still retaining premium elements such a being free from sulphate. This conditioner was nourishing and I think would be fine for most hair types. My hair does require extra nourishment and I found that this conditioner in conjunction with the Argan mask worked really beautifully together to provide shine and frizz reduction.

I love how the formula doesn't include any sulphates, silicones and colourants; is PETA cruelty-free; contains real botanicals with healthy antioxidants; and also safe for coloured hair. I also think it's really cool that the product is "endorsed by the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew - a world-leading authority on plants." This was all packaged into an aesthetically pleasing and well designed 350ml tube. I really enjoyed the creamy consistency of this conditioner; my hair remained well cleansed and gently nourished, without being weighed down with a heavy residue. It was also a great addition that incorporated sensory pleasure to my showering experience. I found this to be a multi-purpose product. Besides using it on co-wash days, I have also found benefit in utilising small amounts of conditioner (after misting/spraying my hair with water) and working it into the ends, which acts as both a leave-in treatment and de-tangler. By the end, (me AND) my hair smelt and felt great! Especially in conjunction with Herbal Essences' Potent Aloe & Avocado Oil Nourishing Shampoo! I also loved trialling the Argan Oil Hair Mask for Repair, and intermittently using it in lieu of this conditioner.

First of all, i quite enjoyed using this product. I started off by using the matching shampoo then went in with this conditioner and it is fantastic. This is a great smelling conditioner and the smell actually lasted in my hair for a couple of days. My hair felt so soft and knot free after using this product as well as left it feeling really clean as well. The consistency of the product is amazing too as it didn’t take much work to get the conditioner through out my hair. I would definitely recommend this product and i think i will be buying it myself.

Love the smell of this conditioner nice light and fresh smell. The packaging is great size larger than expected and only need to use a small amount to make hair silky and smooth. While the smell was initially strong this reduced to not be too overpowering but lasted for for a while. While only a small amount is required a little more was needed as have long hair. Loved the fresh smelling and clean hair used this every second day to keep hair fresh and renewed. Great brand and lovely renewing conditioner which is great to use with shampoo and hair mask.

have had the pleasure of trialling the Herbal Essences Potent Aloe & Avocado Shampoo and conditioner for the past few weeks. First things first, the fragrance! It smells like summer in a bottle, like a holiday has been packaged up - heavenly! I loved using this conditioner after shampooing. I would leave it in for a few minutes and after conditioning, my hair was left feeling soft, bouncy and silky smooth. An added bonus is that the fragrance sticks around all day. I would absolutely recommend this conditioner to anyone with dull and dry hair wanting a boost!

To start off with the packaging is great. Ita a good sized bottle and it's easy to open with wet hands. The conditioner is a creamy type consistency and feels nourishing when rubbing it through your hair. The conditioner smells great, its a fresh scent thats not too overwhelming. Smothes well and didn't weigh down my natural curls. It was able to rid my hair of all product and oils. I was easily able to get 3 days out of my wash. Overall a good product and I would recommend. Unsure that I would re purchase due to the rrp as I think that is higher than I would be willing to pay for a drugstore brand.

I really like this conditioner, used in conjuction with its paired shampoo, they make a great combination. I felt the nourishing effects of this formula on my dull, limp split end hair, to transform it into a shiner, my vibrant and healthy hair. The smell is very strong but washes away and becomes a subtle scent once dried. The sulphate-free formula is great and seems to react well with my hair type. The peta cruelty free aspect is a huge tick for me. I felt it left my hair incredibly soft easy to manage and when brushed with my hairbrush easy and tangle free

okay so i might be a bit biased, but I'm not a massive fan of hair care products that come in this type of packaging, its a bit impractical and makes it hard to get the product out of, plus you have to squeeze to bottle into a weird shape which sets off my inner perfectionist. other than that minor detail I thought the actual product was decent, applied well and smelt pretty good, left my hair soft, silky and hydrated and nothing went wrong with my coloured bits. one thing I would say, just as a side note - this isn't necessarily bad or good, just an observation - is that the texture is a bit thicker than most conditioners I've tried previously, giving it more of a hair mask feel than a conditioner feel, but it doesn't really affect anything, just wanted to mention for those who factor this into choosing a conditioner.

Yet another great product form Herbal Essences. Contains two my most favorite skin and hair nourishment ingredients so definitely am a bit inclined towards it. But this product delivers it all given that I have really frizzy and tangled up hair. It gets absorbed so well in your hair and smells heavenly . It makes the whole bathing experience beautiful and leave my hair soft, smooth and frizz free. Also, a little amount will do the magic and you do not need a handful. Because its free from any parabens , chemicals, it is definitely a great pick for this price. Highly recommended.

The scent of this conditioner is beautiful! It is very hydrating and light on the hair. A little goes a long way. The packaging is nice, being in a squeezable tube means that you can get out more of the conditioner than in a hard plastic bottle. I did find that after day two I needed to re-wash my hair because it got quite oily in the roots, it did still feel hydrated at the ends and when I was applying it I was mainly focusing on mid lengths to ends. My hair did feel smooth although I didn’t find that the conditioner helps to stop the frizzyness. Overall, a nice hydrating conditioner if you already have smooth hair.

I enjoyed using this conditioner. It smells nice and fresh and I found that it did a good job of detangling my hair, which is something I often have trouble with given i have loads of fine hair. i also found that my hair felt quite nice after using this. After airdrying it felt quite silky, not too frizzy and also not too flat. I love that it’s easy to get from the supermarket and is also a really great price. If you’re looking for an affordable conditioner that de tangles and leaves your hair feeling nice, this is definitely a great option.

Used this conditioner after using the shampoo in the same range (alternating each) a few times now and it’s a lovely range. I have fine hair but lots of it, so considered thick and hard to find a shampoo that suits my hair type. This range leaves my hair feeling clean without weighing hair down and adds shine. Unfortunately scent was a bit too strong for me as I prefer something not as perfumed but lovely nonetheless. I also had some skin irritation following use but not 100% sure if this product caused it.

The overall look of this product looks great the smell is amazing the product feels great in your hands I thought it would be a wonderful product I had high hopes with both the shampoo and conditioner but sadly it's just not for me it left my hair very dry and tangled it didn't make it soft or feel conditioned at all it was really awful I won't be using again unfortunately maybe it might work better on kids hair which I'll try on my daughter but for mine I won't be using or buying again it just felt like everything was stripped from my hair so knotty and dry

Having used other conditioners in the bio:renew range, and loving them, I was excited to trial the Aloe & Avocado variety. Like the rest of the bio:renew range, this conditioner is silicone free, free from colourants, sulphate free, and cruelty free. The ingredients list feels a lot cleaner than other supermarket shampoos and conditioners. My hair especially responds well to no-sulphates, so finding a shampoo and conditioner from a well known brand which is easily available is a plus. Like the shampoo, this conditioner left my hair feeling soft and manageable. The smell is amazing and the combination of the aloe and avocado is great. Interestingly, the entire bio:renew range feels quite unisex - I am not a fan of heavily floral shampoos and conditioners so I like this. It is not overpowering but smells fresh and clean.

I really like the scent of this conditioner. I have thick and extremely damaged hair and usually have a hard time finding products that are suitable but this aloe and avocado shampoo actually worked well with my hair, made it feel clean, smell clean and I was able to run my fingers through my hair afterwards. I would recommend this shampoo to anyone looking for a quality product at an affordable price. Excellent product all in all and I would purchase this again. Even worked wonders on my daughters super fine unruly hair.

Herbal Essences Bio renew potent aloe and avocado had many benefits. Firstly the smell was divine. I could not get enough of it. Sadly the smell did not hang around for too long. Secondly, it made my hair feel so soft and smooth. Unfortunately, it did not last long. I have been fighitng a losing battle with my hair drying out too quickly and this product did not help. Soon after it started noticing my hair is drying out too much and starts to become frizzy. I found myself having to wash my hair every day which probably did not help with my dryness.

Absolutely love this conditioner! I have been struggling with dry, damaged over processed hair for quite a while due to bleaching. It’s been hard to find a hydrating conditioner that doesn’t cost a fortune and actually does what it says! It has left my hair feeling incredibly soft and hydrated with minimal breakage. I have always gone back to using Herbal Essence for the smell. Works wonderfully with the shampoo and mask! Very happy with the product and will definitely purchase this in the future.

I have been using this product for a few weeks now along with the shampoo and I have noticed my hair feeling much softer and hydrated. I love that this conditioner isn't thick in texture and have found myself leaving this in overnight as a treatment and it has brought back some shine and life to my hair. You cannot go wrong with the smell either as it's a great fresh scent. If you have curly hair or frizz, I highly recommend this product to help tame the curls, as I have found it much easier to brush my hair after using this product.

I do not like the type of material that is used to bottle up this condition because at times it is hard to squeeze the product out. I much prefer a pump lid. In saying that however, I love the star shaped nozzle that allows to condition to come out in a fancy way. This adds a nice touch and I found it very fancy and cool. I have naturally curly hair so I need a very good conditioner to help moisturise, condition, detangle my hair. I did not find this condition to be as good as I was hoping for. It did all the things a conditioner does except for me it was pretty mild so I had to use more than I should have and had to repeat the process which was time consuming. I now leave it in my hair for a few minutes before rinsing so that my hair can benefit a bit more of it. I love the fragrance. I found it slightly sweeter than the shampoo and it also lasts for hours. Unfortunately this wasn't the best conditioner I used, nor was it the worst. I found it to be just regular conditioner, nothing special about it. It did not improve the condition of my hair when it comes to moisture or frizz.
