Head & Shoulders Itchy Scalp Care Shampoo

I started using this shampoo because I was suffering from a very itchy scalp. This shampoo smells really nice and lathers well. I feel like it gives my scalp and hair a very good cleanse and does not strip my hair or hair colour. It's actually quite gentle. I find this shampoo to be very affordable and it has almost completely fixed my itchy. I'm sure with a few more washes that it'll stop the itching completely. I would highly recommend this shampoo to anyone who has a itchy scalp as it works wonders.

I really like the head and shoulders brand for its anti dandruff shampoos and conditioners. I really like this Head & Shoulders Itchy Scalp Care Shampoo with Eucalyptus and I feel like it gives the scalp a really great clean and removes most of the dandruff fakes for me and the the Eucalyptus gives my scalp a relieved cooling and calming sensation. I really like to grab these on special and stock up when they are around 1/2 price at the supermarket. I would definitely recommend this shampoo to anyone wanting a great anti dandruff shampoo.

Head and shoulders itchy scalp care shampoo is really good for Dandruff scalp and itching in hair! I love that eucalyptus touch ! It definitely gives that cooling touch to the scalp and I have noticed a bid difference in my hair ! My scalp and looked more clean and scalp is looking much healthier!

This shampoo was very nice to use, I enjoyed the fresh eucalyptus smell and liked the nice thick product. It felt really nice to apply and soothing for my dry scalp. I haven’t noticed a dramatic decrease in how itchy my scalp is, however it has been slightly less dry then usual. My hair also very much appreciated this product, my hair has not been looking frizzy and was quite soft and smooth afterward.

I trialled this shampoo as part of a Beauty Crew trial, and I was optimistic that this shampoo would be the answer to my dry and flaky scalp woes. The packaging was easily identifiable as part of the Head and Shoulders range, but had a different scent (and colour) since I'd last tried a Head and Shoulders product. I didn't mind the scent, and preferred the colour, and found it easily lathered in my hair and gave it a clean and fresh feeling after washing. However, unfortunately it did not assist with my sensitive and itchy scalp and it flared up again after using the shampoo, which be partly because I do have not only an itchy and flaky scalp, but also a very sensitive one.

I’ve used the head and shoulders itchy scalp shampoo and conditioner many times before. It definitely helps soothe the scalp and stop itching between washes. I wouldn’t recommend using this every day as I found my scalp would get itchier if I used it every single day. Definitely swap this in and out when necessary.

I usually quite like Head & Shoulders products, works well in terms of lather and making sure my hair feels really fresh and soft too. This one in particular made my scalp feel fresh too! Less dandruff which is what I love about Head & Shoulders in general.

Head & Shoulders is a great anti-dandruff brand and the Itchy Scalp Care Shampoo delivers on removing dandruff and keeping the scalp itch free. Like all the other shampoos from the Head & Shoulders range I have previously used, this one is to apply to apply and lathers up well and rinses out easily. I really like the addition of eucalypts to this shampoo as it smells great and seems to also keep my hair nice and soft while thoroughly cleansing it at the same time. I only use this shampoo once a week and alternative between my regular shampoo. I use this Itchy Scalp Care Shampoo with the matching conditioner and having used this shampoo for a few weeks my scalp is itch free, no dandruff and the shampoo hasn’t dried out my hair. So for me Head & Shoulders Itchy Scalp Care Shampoo is a staple for the shower and is a bargain buy.

Pros: love the smell (which is more like spearmint than eucalyptus), lathers quite well and does a good job leaving my hair and scalp feeling clean on day one. Cons: I experienced a very mild irritating sensation on my face where I accidentally dropped some of the shampoo (noting that I do not have sensitive skin). I continued to experience quite a bit of flakiness and itch on my scalp, particularly on day two after washing my hair with this.

I have suffered from dandruff and an itchy scalp for years, H&S has always been my go to product for relief. I would highly recommend this product for relief for anyone with dandruff it has improved and relieved my scalp and made my hair feel clean and smell good.

Head and shoulders is my go to for dandruff ridden hair and this version is no different. I have definitely seen and felt a reduction in itchiness and dry feeling scalp. I have been massaging a small amount into my hair and usually give it a few minutes before washing it out. The scent is amazing and although the formula feels thick, it washes out nicely and leaves hair feeling clean and fresh. The only negative is that once you stop using it the dandruff comes back very quickly making prolonged usage a necessity.

So happy to be able to trial this Head & Shoulders Itchy Scalp Care Shampoo. Give this shampoo a 5 star rating as it exceed my expectation. It is such a perfect shampoo which suits what I need for someone who suffer from dandruff and itchy scalp. I've used quite a few dandruff shampoo before this. Usually it is too thick which is hard to wash and lather or with an unpleasant smell. But this Head & Shoulders Itchy Scalp Care Shampoo it's total opposite of it. It lather beautifully and the consistency it's not too thick so it is easy to squeeze out from the bottle. The best part of all I love the eucalyptus smell and how it makes my scalp feel cooling and relaxes my scalp and I do not have any itchy scalp after using this. Very soothing feeling after using this shampoo and my hair dry beautifully. My scalp feel clean throughout the whole day. Can't find any fault at all with this shampoo and it pair beautifully with the conditioner. Will recommend to any who have the same dandruff and itchy scalp problem to give this duo a try.

After using this product paired with the conditioner, my scalp overall has improved, and it feels rejuvenated. The shampoo lathers nicely, with the formula proving easy to massage through the hair. The scent is refreshing and has subtle hints of apple and eucalyptus which I enjoyed. Upon application in the shower, the shampoo did tingle my scalp which was quiet refreshing, leaving my scalp feeling smooth and clean. After using this product for a few weeks now, my overall scalp health has improved, and I have noticed the itchiness has reduced. Available in major super markets, this will be an accessible product for me to buy moving forward.

I was initially excited to trial this product as I do tend to get an itchy and flaky scalp. The packaging is simple but nice and the promise of a eucalyptus scent is enticing. However, once dispensed and massaged into the hair it's not a eucalyptus scent at all. All I could smell was a clear menthol scent. It wasn't unpleasant... it just wasn't what was marketed. The bottle also doesn't clearly state that it's shampoo. Unless you've got the matching conditioner right beside it you wouldn't know what was in the bottle. The product also left my hair quite fluffy and lifeless which I REALLY didn't enjoy at all. When used in conjunction with the head and shoulders Itchy Scalp Care Conditioner it relieved my dandruff and the itch for a day or so. That being said, I get similar if not better results with a simple Apple Cider vinegar rinse and it's a fraction of the price. Overall, this product was very average for me and it's not something I would purchase again nor would I recommend it.

I have always had issues with dry itching scalp, I have used many other products. However, after using heads and shoulders shampoo I found that my scalp was no longer itchy. I love the fragrance and it left my hair feeling soft. I would definitely be being this product again.

I was super cautious of this product when I got it, as I’ve used it in the past and it’s been troublesome for my head and hair. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this shampoo did actually help lessen itchiness on my scalp. The smell is quite nice also, and I found the eucalyptus tingle both refreshing and soothing.

Over the last two weeks I have been using Head and Shoulders Shampoo and Conditioner for itchy sclap. Haven't used this brand for quite a while, and often overlooked this brand when shopping so was really keen to see how it worked.  The shampoo claims the Eucalyptus to soothe itchiness and I must admit that even though l expected a strong Eucalypt smell, it was barely noticable and really pleasent. Both the shampoo and conditioner were a nice creamy consistency, not like other brands where you tend to lose half of the product by the time you pour it on your hand and get to apply it to your hair, it lathered well and I didn't need much product. It rinsed out well and was not heavy. The conditioner again was a creamy consistency and massaged well into the ends and I had no trouble combing through with a wide tooth comb, it too rinsed out well and I didn't feel like I still had a film of product still on my hair after rinsing. I was pleased at how soft my hair was when left to dry naturally and after strengthening now smooth and nice it felt. As far as relieving my scalp, I have over the years regularly coloured my hair which does causes irritation from the chemicals - using this product I have noticed a significant decrease in the irritation while still maintaining the colour. My hair definately felt clean and soft after using this shampoo and conditioner.

As anti dandruff shampoos go this is one of the best I’ve tried. Super easy to follow instructions, lathers well and leaves my hair feeling super fresh and clean. I’m also loving the eucalyptus scent. Plus so far it’s delivered everything it’s promised.

I am very grateful to BEAUTYcrew and Head & Shoulders for allowing me to try this product as I’ve had issues with my scalp for years and this past winter it really flared up. It was extremely flaky, dry and itchy and I was making my own “snow”. It can get quite embarrassing indeed. I’ve only used a few products aimed at reducing a dry and/or itchy scalp and have never used anything from Head & Shoulders so I was very excited to try this and the matching conditioner. I really like the bottle and how it’s shaped to sit nicely next to the matching conditioner. It is easy to open and distribute some product. It smells really nice, and though it contains eucalyptus which is great for skin issues, I couldn’t detect it. I don’t have the greatest sense of smell so I asked my father, who has a great sense of smell, to smell it also and he couldn’t smell any eucalyptus either. If you don’t like the smell of eucalyptus then you don’t need to worry with this shampoo This shampoo foams up nicely, with a decent but not huge amount like a lot of regular shampoos do. It was enough to cover my hair without using more than usual of any shampoo. It actually felt similar to a regular shampoo, just cleansed it better and without leaving any residue behind. It didn’t cause a strange sensation to my scalp, just cleaned it nicely and hydrated it sufficiently. The only thing I'd enjoy more would be more peppermint in the formula as I couldn't really feel it on my scalp, but the formula works and that's the main thing. The thing I’m most impressed with is how good it makes my hair look. I wasn’t expecting my hair to look as shiny and bouncy as a regular shampoo might, so it’s truly wonderful that it improves my scalp and my hair. I haven’t had any flakiness or itchiness since using this with the matching conditioner so in conclusion the Head & Shoulders Itchy Scalp Care Shampoo is a winner for me.
