Halo X2 Ceramic Interchangeable Hair Straightener

After my trusty ghd began falling apart after 10 years I was in need of a new straightener. I have long thick wavy hair, so the large plate of Halo x2 Ceramic interchangeable hair straighten instantly piqued my interest. These larger plates were great to glide through my hair to create a smooth look. As someone who cannot master a curling wand, my straightener also doubles to create waves and curls. I swapped to the narrower plates to create loose waves. These plates glided through and the wave held for days. I loved the idea of being able to change the temperature, so when it was time to do the finer blonder hair around my face I reduced the temperature to hopefully minimise heat damage. The straightener was quick to heat up.

Wow the wide plates made styling my hair so easy as I could straighten and curl larger sections of hair faster. Swapping to the smaller plates was great to get those tiny bits of face framing hairs and pieces close to my neck. The plates glide over my hair and I found there was no pulling or tugging when styling. The plates are also very easy and convenient to swap out and change between the two. It also heats up so fast, and there are a range of heat temperatures you can choose. I like to keep it lower to ensure the health of my hair, and even on a lower heat setting my hair was styled effectively.

I have used the Halo X2 Ceramic Interchangeable Hair Straightener a few times over the last few weeks now and have found it really great. I really appreciate being able to style with two different width plates. The interchangeable plates easily and securely clip in and out. The straightener itself looks and feels good quality and has a sleek finish. The straightener is easy and tidy to pack away. I really like the swivel cord of the Halo X2 Ceramic Interchangeable Hair Straightener - this may be my favourite feature above other straighteners or curling wands that I have used! The straightener had adjustable temperature which is also great for having control over styling and not being too harsh on my hair. The narrower plates are good for curling, even on my reasonably thick hair - though it does need quite small sections. The wider plates are great for straightening and work quickly and leave a smooth finish.

I was lucky enough to trial this product, after having my GHD since 2012 and I’m so glad I finally got to upgrade!! The Halo straightener is absolutely amazing and I have seen such improvement in my hair since beginning to use it. The 2 different sizes of blades work so well for basically any style out there, from tighter curls to loose waves, or just basic straightness! I can achieve basically any look I am going for. My hair has felt so much healthier and less damaged, and I have been using it almost everyday! I think the temperature control has made the world of difference. I am seeing less split ends and my hair feels overall stronger compared to my older straightener. The best feature about this straightener is that it will automatically turn off after 60 minutes. I do worry about my hair styling tools being turned off and think about it for hours after, but this is just an extra peace of mind for those stressful days. I truly believe this will be my main hairstyling tool for the next 10+ years! In future when I need to I will defiantly stick to Halo products!

I am totally in love with the Halo X2 Ceramic Interchangeable Hair Straightener and I use it most days to achieve that perfectly styled hair every morning. I love that there is 2 different sized interchangeable ceramic plates. I used the larger 42mm plates to straighten my hair quickly and efficiently. I used the 25mm plates to straighten, curl or style loose waves depending on the occasion and how I was wearing my hair. Super easy to change the plates over. My daughter even got to straighten her hair with it and was super impressed with how straight her hair was after using it. It left my hair smooth and shiny and I loved how it just glided through my hair without pulling it out. I loved that it would heat up super fast and you could adjust the heat between 90°C – 230°C. It has a long swivel cord which is always nice when trying to style your hair different ways. It has a 60 minute automatic shut off which is wonderful, as I never went out thinking oh no did I leave the straightener on before I left the house. I also really love that it comes with a heat-resistant glove to protect hands from heat during styling This product is suitable for all hair types but works the best for fine to medium hair like I have. I definitely highly recommend this product and couldn’t love using it any more than I already do.

I was pleasantly surprised with this hair straightener. I have quite a few straightners at home but I find myself reaching for this one more than the other ones I have. The interchangeable plates are fantastic they are really easy to change around and they are very secure in place so no worry that they may fall off when using the tool. It has a very quick heat up and I love that you can control how hot you want it to be. Great for curling but works the best as a straightener. It's light weight and the cord is really long which is great. I use the wider plates and it will straighten all of my thick hair fairly quickly. The style lasts and it doesn't create any flyaways. It works so well and I will keep using it. I recommend it if you do want to straighten and curl with one device as you can swap the plates, quick heat up and you can control the temperature.

I will admit, I really thought the idea of interchangeable plates was a total gimmick, and boy was I wrong. I have long, thick, straight hair, that it is extremely difficult to get shape/curl into, but this worked wonders for my hair. The plates were easy to change over, and it was great to have the option of both widths, so I could choose the plates based on the style I was after, and not the other way around. I have been using the wider plates to straighten and to create big, lush, blow-out style curled hair, and the thinner ones for tight curls and waves, or to quickly put shape into curtain bangs and face framing sections of up-dos. It heats up quickly, and the controls are easy to use to get the desired temperature. The ceramic plates also glided through my hair easily, there were no snags or pulls. It's a small detail but I also really appreciated the extra long swivel cord - as someone with an outdated bathroom with an inconveniently placed single power point, it made things so much easier. It really love this tool, it's not often you get double for nothing. This would make a great gift for family and friends too.

I haven’t owned a hair straightener in a decade as I’ve been trying to undo the damage of all the heat products I used as a teenager. So I was keen but nervous to trial this product. But OH MY GOD it was so worth it. Hair straighteners and heat style products have definitely improved over the past decade and I completely forgot what it was like to have nice styled, sleek hair. I didn’t want to damage my now-healthier hair, so I spent some time researching ceramic straighteners (vs metallic) and I felt pretty comfortable using this, knowing it won’t damage my hair like straighteners from the olden days (especially with a heat protectant). What I also loved was that I could adjust the temperature - I used a higher temp when straightening, and a lower temperature when fixing/re-doing curls. No matter what temperature I chose, it heated up super quickly so I could start styling straight away. I tried both the larger attachment (42mm) and the smaller one (25mm). While the larger attachment straightened my curly/wavy hair much more quickly, I preferred using the smaller attachment, as I could just smooth and re-curl my existing curls to elevate my look. I’ll definitely be using the smaller attachment on a regular basis, and would straighten with the larger one for special events. What I love though is that this comes with both, so you have that versatility without needing to have 2 different products. This is definitely a great product that I see myself having for many years.
