Great for someone starting with skincare
I think this one will be great for teens just starting to get into skincare or if you’re camping/travelling for a short time and need to consolidate your routine.
Also would be amazing for those people who really don’t want to use anything or put any effort in but would still like to be mindful of their skin health.
It’s a lovely product. Definitely doesn’t feel like a serum, more of a moisturiser. I like the fact that it has SPF as I don’t leave the house without it on and I found this very convenient for those busy days when I had to get out the door fast.
It didn’t leave any greasy residue or white cast that one products with SPF can do. I honestly loved the way it felt and left my skin feeling.
I will continue to use it in certain parts of my routine when needed but it won’t be taking over other products if that makes sense.
Not my fav.
I was really excited to try this product and admittedly would have liked to have written this review after using the product for a bit longer (I think covid delays affecting the mail deliveries)
BUT from my experience using this product I was disappointed. The smell and texture of the serum was nice, the product goes on nicely and definitely made my skin feel hydrated initially.
However after a few hours I would find that the serum clearly hasn’t absorbed properly and was sitting on the top of my skin and had sort of leaked / rubbed into my eyes and was extremely painful.
I also prefer to use a higher SPF for my daily protection so would be interesting to see if they could have used a higher Coverage.
From a visual aesthetic, the label on my bottle is extremely crooked and it definitely doesn’t make you feel like you’re using a luxe product when the branding looks so slap-dash.
Didn’t love the product and not sure I would get again if completely honest!
Not terrible but not great!
I have super mixed feelings about this 3 in 1 cream, on one hand it was super cool to have a moisturiser, spf and serum all in one but i think the spf ruined it.
I love being able to layer some of my products and i found whenever i layered anything with this, the product would just pill ALOT.
It didnt feel overly moisturising either and it dried on my face in a way that it was making my skin feel matte and dry which i found quite odd for a product that claims its hydrating.
The smell was nice! I personally love melon scented items so i was happy with that, however i don't think its for everyone.
The SPF15 in my opinion should have been left out. Its quite pointless to have only spf15 as it doesn't do much at all. I wanted to love this product as the matching cleanser was so great, i had such high expectations but unfortunately it missed the mark for me
Not bad but not great either
I really liked the idea of this product and the fact that I could potentially save myself a lot of time and effort. However, I did not really enjoy the texture of the cream as it felt a lot like sunscreen rather than a serum or cream. It felt like it sat on top of my skin rather than being absorbed into it and this was definitely not ideal for layering products as it is only SPF 15, meaning I would have to apply another sunscreen on top of it. It also started to peel off like balls of dead skin when too much was applied which was not very appealing.
Great hydrating serum
Loved this product. The scent and texture of this serum/moisturiser is fabulous. It feels like a very hydrating moisturiser, with the added bonus of a little sunscreen. This 3-in-1 allows me to skip my serums /hyaluronic acid before my moisturiser, and then I still follow up with my normal SPF as it’s only SPF15. I love the feeling of my skin after usung it too. The smell is great as well, it’s a really subtle watermelon scent, and definitely not overpowering which is fabulous. Also love that it’s made of recycled plastic, a great move by Garnier, hoping all their products go this way
Hydrating and glowy day moisturiser
This serum cream is a lovely, lightweight and super hydrating day moisturiser. It has a light, fresh melon scent and absorbs quickly into the skin with a nice, glowy finish. I wish the SPF was a bit stronger though - SPF15 isn't quite enough so I used sunscreen as well. I also found that if you didn't leave it to absorb for at least 10 mins, applying makeup over the top caused it to pill slightly. I also liked the packaging - cute rounded bottle design with a decent pump. Overall, I would recommend for someone with normal-dry skin that doesn't like the feeling of a heavy moisturiser, especially if you like the scent of watermelon!
Vegan Serum
Another great, vegan Garnier product which is nice to use everyday.
It's a gentle serum which feels so nice on the skin and has a delicious, subtle scent of watermelon. It's nice to use underneath makeup and doesn't affect the colour of the makeup on top.
I love this product and will definitely buy it again in future. I tend to be fussy with products that I use on my face, but I haven't found any faults with this serum.
Like a lot of Garnier products now, this product is vegan and made with mostly plants and the packaging is made with recycled materials, which I love.
Standard cream
I really wanted to like the Garnier Green Labs Hyalu-Melon Replumping Serum Cream SPF 15 but unfortunately it fell a bit flat for me. The texture is interesting, and a bit thicker than a conventional serum. I wish that it had tried to be one thing i.e. a serum or a cream, rather than a 3-in-1, as it’s not hydrating nor high SPF enough to be all 3. It would be good for teens who are being introduced to skincare, but as an adult with an established routine and large knowledge about skincare, it won’t be a staple for me.
Love a muli-tasker that works
Was pleasantly surprised by this product from Garnier, along with the milky cleanser - they made a really nice duo!!
Garnier Green Labs Hyalu-Melon Replumping Serum Cream SPF 15 is the perfect multi-tasker, especially in lockdown when I cannot be bothered sometimes… can see this as a great time saver when getting to work too though.
I have been constantly reaching foe this serum cream in the AM, following cleansing with the milky cleanser. The formula is light and fresh but deeply hydrating and refreshing. The spf did not make my face greasy but did deliver a subtle glow. I am not a big fragrance girl but the smell is fresh and I really enjoy starting my morning with this product!!
Will continue to use after this trial and probably re-purchase, especially for Summer for that fresh skin prep!
Convenient and Hydrating
I have combination skin and have used this product with its cleanser for over 2 weeks. While I have not seen any major permanent change to my skin. I have noticed a temporary improvement when I used this serum which hydrated my skin and left it looking pretty bright and less dull which was a major concern of mine. I really enjoyed this product. It was perfect for me because I find it tedious and time-consuming to use multiple products successively. I loved that it was a serum, a moisturiser and a sunscreen. I don't really understand what the benefit of watermelon as an ingredient for this product is and that is something I wish was addressed on the packaging. I also found the packaging a bit confusing primarily because of the divider in the box. I wasn't sure whether it separated a section of the box to hold another product or component or whether it was supposed to be empty. All in all, I was really happy with the temporary daily effects of this product but I did not notice any long-term benefit. I would recommend this product from my experience.
Effective 3 in 1 product
I enjoyed trialing the Garnier Green Labs Hyalu-Melon Replumping Serum Cream SPF 15 as I loved that it is a 3 in 1 product. Anything to save on time and money is great idea to me as long as the benefits are still evident. While I did find my skin felt a little ‘re-plumped’ I have to admit I wasn’t the biggest fan of the sunscreen feel of this cream and I found it to leave my skin with an oily type look, consistent with regular sunscreens. I will probably continue to use the remainder of this product however due to the sunscreen finish, I am unsure if I would repurchase.
Wouldn't recommend..
I like the packaging of this product, it’s very cute and compact. I like that it comes with a pump because it feels more hygienic to me. It has a faint watermelon scent which personally doesn’t bother me but may put some people off. I liked the concept of the 3-in-one product initially as it seems like a way to save money and time, but I personally prefer using different products to target different concerns. I usually use a vitamin C serum in the morning for brightening, a hyaluronic acid moisturiser for hydration and an SPF 50+ for sun protection. I would rather use 3 separate products that I know I’m getting specific benefits from rather than this one product. I didn’t find this cream very hydrating, so I won’t be continuing to use it. I get dry flaky skin around my nose as well as dry patches around my face. I am usually able to keep these areas hydrated with my normal moisturisers. This cream did not hit the mark for me unfortunately.
I wouldn’t use this under my makeup or would need to add additional hydrating products for my makeup to sit seamlessly on my skin and not accentuate my dry patches. I would also want to wear additional SPF on top because I don’t think SPF 15 is adequate, especially if you’re going outside/during summer.
This probably isn’t a product I would recommend to anyone unfortunately. I think it would maybe be okay if you’re a young teen just getting into skincare and don’t have the time/money to invest in lots of products. But personally, I think there are a lot more products available on the market that are better than this.
3 in 1 serum SPF primer
I am glad I got this to review from Beautycrew as I would not have picked up this product myself. This product was very easy to use especially as a 3 in 1. saves a lot of steps and time in the morning. What I find is to not apply too much, as when you apply too much, little balls of skin rub up on your skin which is unappealing. The fragrance is a bit much for me, but it was very moisturizing. I didnt mind it too much as it did keep my skin very hydrated. I am not sure if I would recommend it to my family and friends as I have used other primers/serums/SPF that are more pleasant to use.
This isn’t it.
I wanted to love this product because I LOVE a multitasking product, particularly for days when I’m just staying inside. But this once really had me stumped. Is it a moisturiser? A sunscreen? A serum? It claims to be all 3, but I’m not sure it’s any!
The consistency and texture is quite oily like a sunscreen, but only has SPF15 which is not enough on it’s own. It didn’t make my skin feel much more hydrated than usual, just a bit greasy. It definitely did not sink into my skin like a nice moisturiser.
For days when I was literally just sitting at the computer inside all day and wanted SOME sun protection from the sun coming through the window, I felt okay with this on. Otherwise, I felt the need to put sunscreen over the top, so what’s the point?
I’be ended up putting it in my handbag to top of my chest and shoulder sun protection.
Eh - its okay
I was really excited to try this one through BeautyCrew as I'm a huge fan of multi tasking beauty prods! It kind of didn't live up to the hype though for me this time round. The texture is very much like a sunscreen and didn't seem to blend very well; and I think it didnt seem like I was getting the best of anything? Like its was very sunscreen-y but its only SPF15 so in the day I still felt the need to use further SPF and sunscreen; and then I couldn't really tell if I was getting the moisturising benefits because my face felt kinda greasy. Also wasn't a huge fan of the fragrance.
A good concept
While I think the combination of a moisturiser, serum and sunscreen is genius, I think Garnier really could have gone further with this product. First of all, to minimise the amount of different products in a morning routine was great. It felt nice on the skin and while I’m a bit cautious with skin care that has added fragrance, I didn’t mind the scent. It is disappointing that the SPF is only 15 - living in Australia, skin needs more daily protection and a higher SPF would be a massive winner. The only other issue I had with it was if I used a little bit too much of the product, when I then put make up over the top sometimes the excess cream would clump and roll which wasn’t very pleasant. The cream was okay but I hope to see more products like this with the same combination concept but fragrance free and a higher sun protection rating
Great moisturiser
I really liked this serum cream from Garnier. It’s very hydrating for my skin and has a great melon scent. It’s a three in one product - serum, moisturiser and sunscreen, so makes my daily skincare routine simple and easy. It comes in a pump bottle for easy and hygienic dispensing. The cream absorbs quickly into your skin and feels nice.
After using this serum cream for a week, my skin really feels soft and nourished. I would recommend this serum cream for anyone who wants a quick and easy product for their skincare routine.
Amazing and Smell Delicious!
I have been using this serum cream for over 3 weeks now and i absolutely love it.
I put it on first thing every morning and it makes my face feel hydrated and soft, not to mention the fact that this also have SPF 15, which is great!
I prefer my serums to be dewy as well as i have dry skin and this product provides a nice shine once applied.
I cannot go past the smell as well, most serums are scentless but this one is so refreshing and makes the experience when applying it so much better.
Highly recommend this product and it's great value for money.
Not my favourite.
Thanks to BeautyCrew and Garnier for letting me trial this serum. I do love multi tasking products in the morning (to get those few extra minutes in bed!) I really wanted to love this serum, but it just missed the mark for me. First and foremost, it looks, feels, and applies like a sunscreen. It is white in colour and the texture of a facial sunscreen. I found it hard to rub into my skin, and I felt like the SPF15 payoff wasn’t worth the use as I prefer a higher SPF on my face, especially coming into summer. Unfortunately, I feel like the moisturiser and serum aspects of this product are overshadowed by the sunscreen, which isn’t a high enough protection to be used on its own day to day.
Love this 3 in 1
Sorry to all my daily serums, moisturisers and sunscreens... You have all been replaced by this 3 in 1 Garnier Green Labs product. I LOVE this product, 1 layer of this and I'm out the door for my morning walk. It leaves your face fresh, hydrated and protected. I am currently working from home due to lockdowns and this is the only product I have had on my face since obtaining it. I have naturally dry skin and this gives enough of a hydrated glow that I dont feel the need for any makeup on top. Packaging is compact and easy to pump, would be great for travelling. Perfect for someone who can get lazy with the skincare. Will for sure be repurchasing.
