Garnier Fresh-Mix Tissue Mask with Vitamin C Shot

This mask is fun, like a little science experiment. My skin feels fresh and bright after use and super smooth. The first time I used it the next day I had to wear a face full of makeup and it felt like it just glided on and didn’t settle into any little creases like it would on a normal day. Love using this before a day/night out or when my skin is just feeling a little dull and grey.

I stumbled across these on sale at Woolworths so how could I not try another mask from Garnier, they haven’t had a miss yet. It was so much fun to squeeze the serum into the tissue and mix it all together. After mixing I carefully removed from the packaging and applied to my face. Like with all other Garnier masks it fit my face well and off I went to relax.  After removing the mask I rubbed the excess into my face and followed with my moisturiser. My skin was looking instantly brighter and more plump. The next few hours my skin had a nice glow to it but to see long term benefits you’d have to use often.  It didn’t irritate my sensitive skin at all. I’ll definitely be repurchasing, especially if I get them at 50% off again. 

I found the DIY tissue mask interesting concept, given you thought you would want the mask to be fully infused. I put the Vit C mask in the fridge an hour before using it and it felt amazing on my skin and nice and cooling for a hot summer day. The mask made my face feel so soft, hydrated and plump. I found there was a lot of serum left over in the packet, so I used excess on chest and arms.

It was different using this product and I really liked the idea of soaking the mask ourselves, the instructions were easy to follow and was fun to do. My skin did look slightly brighter and more hydrated after use however I didn't find it to be a significant difference compared to other masks that I have used. I also found that the residue didn't quite soak into my skin even after 15 minutes and rubbing it in which I didn't quite like.

This is the first face mask I have used where you are required to apply the serum to the mask yourself. I wasn’t too sure about it but I’m glad I gave it a try because it was quite refreshing. Applying the serum yourself also meant the product was fresh and the mask didn’t feel too slimy as the product had only just been applied. The mask stayed cool and felt refreshing the whole time using it and my skin felt great afterwards. I did notice though that the serum had a slight fragrance to it. I have sensitive skin that reacts to fragrance but chose to use this product anyway. I felt a little bit of tingling as my skin began to react to the fragrance but the redness was minimal. Although I enjoyed this product and I recommend it to others, I’ll personally be sticking to their fragrance free version which was equally amazing but without the reaction.

This is by far the best sheet mask I have tried! I tried this after several days in the sun and it worked wonders on my dry, dull skin. The mask fitted well and stayed on, and had a really nice cooling effect on my skin. Afterwards, my skin was dramatically more hydrated and had a healthy glow about it. There is much more serum than required however so I used the remaining on my sun exposed neck, chest and shoulders. This was a little messy and there is definitely room for improvement on the packaging.

I'll start by saying this mask was such a refreshing experience. I felt that afterwards my skin felt rejuvenated and hydrated. The non pre-mix mask idea really assists in ensuring the mask remains fresh and ready for use whenever is needed. My only complaint was I did find the mask a little sticky, however I would recommend and purchase this product again.

I liked this mask - it did feel really cool and refreshing on my dehydrated and dull skin. I think the actual mask is smaller than other sheet masks, so it felt like it fit my face better than other products have. I'm not so keen on the DIY method - I really thought I was going to deal with a serum explosion, and it took more force that I thought to actually release the serum into the mask. There is heaps of serum left over - too much to rub into my face and skin after. My skin felt brighter and more hydrated after use.

This product left my skin feeling hydrated, which was so good for my skin after spending time travelling on planes and spending lots of time in the sun. I would personally prefer the mask to already be mixed with the product, as it did get a little bit messy (and confusing at first). Putting it in the fridge for a little while before use made the cooling sensation feel great on my skin

This mask was great for my skin as in the summer sun it has dried out a little, after using the mask my skin felt hydrated and plump and looked fresh and bright. Also there is so much extra serum that you can rub it into your neck aswell. The only con with the mask is that im really not sold on the do it yourself, i feel that its easier to just buy an already made up one.

The mask did not fit my face very well, however, I find this with most sheet masks. I enjoyed mixing the mask/sheet myself, but am unsure if this increases the effectiveness of the mask. There was alot of excess mask liquid, which I applied to my skin, neck, and chest afterwards. I would purchase the mask again. I used this before applying makeup, and found my skin to be brighter and bouncier.

Amazing! What I loved about this mask is that it was comfortable to leave on for 15mins and it stayed on. A dream for a at home spoil yourself regime. Excellent idea of activating the Vitamin C shot yourself, overall a great line to introduce to the do it yourself at home masks and affordable for all. My skin was rejuvenated after only one application so I will stick to this product in the future. My skin sure did get a boost! Love it!

This face mask is such a great sheet mask, I love how you mix the serum in fresh with the tissue mask. There is a generous amount of serum so that you can lather it onto your neck. The tissue mask is also a great shape that fits well on your face. I prefer this Vitamin C mask to the hyaluronic one because it's not as sticky but equally hydrating. I can't say much towards brightening effects after just a single use but I can say that I will be happy to repurchase it

I really like vitamin c products as my skin tends to be dull. This mask fit my face well and was comfortable to use, and I did see a difference in the brightness of my skin after using it. I just believe the amount of serum supplied is wasteful, an entire bottle for one face mask? I think if so much serum is provided you need to be able to re-use it so the packaging needs to change. Good product but I think you’re definitely paying for more than you can use!

I loved this mask, i did find it dried up faster on my skin than the other one i tried. I feel my skin felt more refreshed, radiant and bright immediately after,  the next morning and day. I love mixing the serum in myself. Definitely recommend this mask and I look forward to trying more of this range.

I was afraid I would burst the bag, so I cut the top and placed the cloth in the serum. The mask fit my face shape perfectly and did not slip or dry out. The serum had a pleasant fragrance and left my face feeling and looking more hydrated, vibrant and bright. The generous amount of serum left over allowed me to reapply the serum after 15 minutes. I also used the left-over serum under my moisturiser for the next three days. My skin benefited from this mask for about two weeks after. I will purchase Garnier's Vitamin C shot Mask again, especially, at such a reasonable price.

I loved that this product due to the fact that the serum and mask where separated and then mixed only when you wanted to use the product, I have been waiting for a company to come out with something like this for year. The mask was great to apply sometimes sheet masks can feel stingy and like they should be submersed in additional product, but this product provided excess which can be used afterwards to put on the face or other body areas like the neck. My skin was radiant straight after the mask was applied and looked plump and glowy #win ! I didnt notice much of a difference the next day but this would be great before a night out to have radiant skin under you make-up ! I am a clay mask girl but did enjoy this mask and would recommend it to friends and family.

I am really enjoying sheet masks recently and this one did not disappoint. I suffer from blemishes and this worked well to clam my skin after a breakout. A little more fiddly than a standard mask as you have to do a bit of prep. I was very pleased with the results of this mask and i would buy again to have on hand for quick solutions to breakouts.

I really liked this mask, although I did find it a little bit tricky initially to squeeze the serum into the mask section of the pouch. In saying that, there was more than enough serum in the pack and it was really easy to use. Mask went on very easily (and smelt amazing) and my skin felt really refreshed! Would buy again.

I loved this. I was pretty sceptical at first- I figured it was a gimmic that really just depends on cooling your skin down & making it wet. But I was wrong! It hydrated by skin without feeling soggy, and my skin was left feeling more plump & healthy. Plus the package was really handy! If I’m honest, messy or time consuming processes just don’t end up happening in my schedule. But this was easy to prepare and made no mess or clean up hassle. So good!
