I wasn’t sure what to expect and I was pleasantly surprised! I was expecting a typical serum texture but out popped a balm-like serum. A bit thick so that it’s easy to apply. I liked how hydrating my skin felt and the next morning my skin would feel so hydrated and plump! Sometimes I would be tempted not to use cream afterwards but I suggest you do that step even though it feels super hydrated! I enjoyed the way that each capsule was packaged with just enough serum to use for one use. Feels a little wasteful but it made application super easy and fun to use. It was even enough for the neck area too (by looking at the small capsule you wouldn’t think so!)

The Elizabeth Arden Retinol and HPR Ceramide Capsules Serum is the perfect starter Retinol/Retinoid serum. I’ve used retinol in the past but had taken a break for a while, and had no issues or reactions to using a capsule’s amount almost daily. The capsules are a great way to manage the amount you’re using and maintain the stability of the product while allowing the serum to avoid direct sunlight. The product applies like an absolute dream. I loved the feel of putting it on, and my skin almost didn’t even need moisturiser afterward. I used this for 30 days and was really pleased with the results. My skin felt smoother, looked brighter and clearer.

I was provided this product to try for my opinion in return. I find the capsules easy to use. I used it at night which meant that I had more time to do my skincare routine. I found one capsule had more product than I needed for my entire face so I saved some for the next time. The fragrance of the capsule is really nice. It isn’t very strong but I really like the fragrance. It is very inviting. I find the serum goes onto my skin really easily and smoothly. It glides on. My skin absorbs the product really quickly and easily. It feels nice on my skin and I can see that my skin is glowing. My skin looks really great.

When I first saw this product I was super excited. I have really sensitive skin and I am a super clean freak. So this product was a godsend. The packaging was super easy to use and clean. I love that the individual pods are filled with enough product for each use making it super convenient to use everyday. I really liked the way it made my skin look, as someone who’s very lazy with skincare daily.. this product really made a difference to my skin. This is a product that I would definitely be recommending to family and friends.

I have to admit I was a bit hesitant to use a retinol product at first, as I was afraid it might dry out my skin even more. So I was pleasantly surprised that this serum had the opposite effect on my skin, and actually made it feel more hydrated! I really liked that the capsules contained the perfect amount of product to generously cover my entire face and neck. I used this serum for a few weeks after cleansing my face at night time, and before I apply my normal moisturiser. It feels very silky and smooth, and feels like it almost has a blurring effect. It gets absorbed into the skin quite quickly, and doesn’t feel greasy at all. I also liked that it doesn’t have any noticeable fragrance. I also found that the serum seems to enhance my moisturiser when I apply it on top. I wake up every morning with a brighter, smoother face, and it feels and looks more plump and hydrated. Overall, I have really loved this product! I just hope the capsules that get thrown out are biodegradable and not harmful to our environment.

Wonderful nourishing serum that definitely feels luxe! It's a thicker, viscous serum but not in a bad way at all, it feels like it wraps up your skin in a comforting blanket. The retinol in the serum is gentle, but seems to exfoliate my skin nicely (without being harsh) and I've noticed my skin is far brighter than it was. Skin is also left super hydrated and plump! The serum doesn't seem to break me out which I am very thankful for (I have acne prone skin but I'm also getting older, so this is so tricky to manage). I would recommend this serum to almost all age groups (except for those who are early 20s or younger). I find I get two applications from a single capsule, so the serum does go a long way.

I absolutely love this serum. I have been using it at night as part of my night time skin routine. The pink capsules have the perfect amount in them to be able to apply the serum to my face and neck. It goes on so nicely and soaks in well leaving my face feeling instantly soft and smooth. I love that it doesn’t have a scent. I have extremely sensitive skin that often reacts to things that even say for sensitive skin, so I was a little worried I may not be able to use this but thankfully there was no irritation what so ever. I did find some mornings when I first started using it my face was quite dry and flaky. Which in the past it hasn’t been. This did eventually stop. I am not sure if it’s because of the serum or not. I did find it helped with my fine lines a little bit but I was hoping it would get rid of them all. Overall I think it’s a great product it definitely left my skin feeling soft, smooth and improved some of my fine lines. I like that it’s been great for my sensitive skin but I do think it’s quite expensive.

I have been using the elizebeth Arden retinol capsules for a month. I have used retinols in the past which have left my skin irritated and angry. These capsules did no such thing! They glided onto my skin like silk and absorbed into my skin quickly. They immediately left my skin extra soft and have a lovely luxurious feel to my skin. Over time Ive noticed my skin looks brighter, more supple and my fine lines don't seem to appear as much as they used to. The overall condition of my skin seems just less bumpy, and so much smoother. I am over all very impressed with these capsules and will for sure be buying them again in the future.

The serum is packaged in individual capsules and you simply twist the top of the capsule and then squeeze out the serum. The serum is easy to apply. The product absorbs easily into my skin and there is enough to cover a full face and neck area. My skin feels very soft after using this serum, and I am happy to recommend these. I really enjoyed using this luxury product. I love the packaging and the cute individual capsules which deliver the perfect dose. Its a relief to not have to estimate the correct product amount. The product feels luxurious its silky smooth and sinks onto my skin well leaving my skin soft to the touch. The product worked into my skin care regime perfectly and complimented my other products. Its a simple step and elevates my look. My skin is softer for using this product. The outter packinging is fun and plays of the unique capsule products they look great on my counter top.

Trialling it over a period of about 3+ weeks, concentrating on around my mouth and my laugh lines and between my eyes. I really have noticed a difference, even just in the brightening of those areas. A little lift should I say! All in all I have definitely seen an improvement in my skin and a blurring of the finer lines. Fabulous product and could not recommend it more highly! The capsules leave my skin feeling so soft and smooth. I think that they make my skin look great afterwards working on my fine lines and wrinkles. I would definitely recommend these.

When I first tried Elizabeth Arden Retinol + HPR Ceramide Capsules Rapid Skin Renewing Serum, while it felt nice on the skin, it didn't seem to make a difference until at least 2 weeks. Having mature, darker skin, perhaps it took a while to take affect, but eventually it did, and I happy with the results. I will probably have to continue using for several months to see real change. However, the $90 is steep, and I don't think I can justify the price over several months for it's efficacy. My major dislike is the pods, it's a real waste of plastic just to make it look fancy. I think a much more sustainable packaging would make it more attractive. I kept wondering much of the serum was still stuck inside the pod. The pods are unnecessary. Still an effective product for those who seek to buy it.

Amazingly gentle but effective retinol serum that doesn't leave the skin dry and peeling. I have used a lot of different types of retinol (and variants) and have always found that there is a pay off for the effectiveness, suffering the post retinol dryness and peelies. I have always found this to be a deterrent for compliance however I think I may have found my goldilocks with these capsules. The HPR ceramide perfectly offsets and minimises the side effects of using a retinol product while delivering the results. The serum is a slow burn, but stick with it. The user experience is amazing with a soft and silky serum that feels more like using a delicious barrier loving mosituriser. The packaging is divisive, but I love it. The air tight capsules protect the active ingredients and is perfect for travel. Dosage is generous, even when used on the face, neck and décolletage so I have been able to extend to the backs of my hands and knees.

I have been using the retinol and HPR capsule for the last few weeks and I was amazed at how smooth and silly my skin became. It comes in luxurious capsule size which is perfect for a single application without cross contamination and the texture feels like a thick serum. It is very easy to apply and absorbed by the skin leaving a non sticky feeling. I deliberately focused on my laughing lines and noticed that it’s less visible as my skin plumps up. I have sensitive skin and was very impressed that the product is none irritating. When I introduced the Elizabeth Arden capsule to mum, she told me it’s marketed as ‘time capsules’ overseas because it reverses signs of aging! I plan on hitting the shops to get another bottle for mum and I over the weekend. I would give this 10 stars if I could!
