Elizabeth Arden Lip Color

This newish Elizabeth Arden lipstick is perfection. Until very recently it has been almost impossible to find a pale, soft, true pink but there are a few in this range. I look awful in bright, deep lipsticks and have never worn red and never will but to get a true pink is difficult. The pinks in this range are beautiful. Soft, clear and true without being "too young" or too pale and they stay without fading or bleeding all day. The lipstick glides on and stays where it is put, feeling comfortable all day. There is no drying on your lips and all in all this is as good a lip product as I've had.

The Elizabeth Arden Lip Colour in 101 Nude Blush reminds me of a creamy light cappuccino colour. I apply this lipstick straight onto my lips without any brush or lipstick applicator. I have never experienced applying a lipstick that is so creamy and nice to apply like this before, beautiful quality colour meets lip care done brilliantly. I can smell a sight vanilla scent that I can smell the whole time while wearing and have found after wearing this one for a few weeks now that it lasts while wearing however if I have a drink or something to eat I do need to re apply it. I have found my lips to look and feel more soft and smooth for the added vitamins, ceramides and oil since wearing this lipstick even when I have taken it off. The lipstick comes packaged in a nice silver and gold lipstick case with a magnetic lip that clicks when it’s connected making it a great way to know it’s closed properly keeping the lipstick fresh and hygienic. Great for every day wear and every occasion.

I was lucky enough to be able to choose a shade of lipstick for this trial and I chose a nude satin finish lipstick called Be Bare. Firstly, I love the packaging of the lipstick. It's a square shaped satin feel material bullet with a magnetic lid. I found the lipstick itself to be quite pigmented so instead of running the lipstick across my entire lip I like to lightly dab it across my lips. I also found the formula to be very conditioning and non drying and it didn't enhance any cracks I have on my lips. It instead hydrated them and made them less noticeable as it also has a slight plumbing effect which was nice. The lipstick smells delicious like a vanilla cupcake which isn't noticeable to me when I wear the lipstick. I only noticed the fragrance when I sniffed the actual lipstick. I really like the subtle satin finish this lipstick gives me. It's not too shiny. It's just right. I found this lipstick has a strong lasting effect and doesn't transfer either.

Simply gorgeous. I bought this lipstick in nude blush which is an absolutely beautiful shade, very flattering and I was so impressed I can’t wait to try another colour. It comes in an impressive array of shades so there’s something for everyone. This is a great anti ageing lipstick, it’s super creamy and doesn’t bleed or feather which is so ageing. It stays put and plumps my lips so they definitely look younger and much better. It contains vitamin E and other nutrients that condition and moisturise my lips so it keeps my lips smooth and soft as well as giving gorgeous colour. I love the pretty pink and gold canister and the pigment in this lipstick is really high quality, it lasts really well, even after having a coffee. For the quality it’s worth every cent and feels like a beautiful treat. It’s light and comfortable to wear and never feels sticky. Love this Elizabeth Arden lipstick, a great brand, I would highly recommend this

I have been trialing the Elizabeth Arden Lip Colour in 104 Romanic Rose in the Matte finish for the last couple of weeks. Creamy and highly pigmented the lipstick applies to my lips so effortlessly and for a colour that is rosey brown it only needs a couple of gentle sweeps over my lips for a beautiful dense colour. The lipstick stays perfectly on my lips where applied and does not bleed or run even without lip liner. Lightly sweet in scent, the wind up lipstick looks beautiful in the silver and gold squared lipstick case. The lid is magnetic that makes a clicking sound when closed great to know it will be sealed in freshness in-between each use. The lipstick lasts well on my lips and after eating or drinking it does wipe off it leaves a stain but is easily re applied. I have worn this during the day and to a family gathering and would use it for any occasion. I can’t wait to purchase other shades as this would be the best lipstick I have used. I would highly recommended this lipstick.
