Eau Thermale Avène Hydrance Boost Concentrated Hydrating Serum

What's not to like about this product? I have very dry sensitive skin prone to a little redness. I needed something more than just my face cream to help protect my skin during Arid West Australian climate. The goal is always to improve skin health and reduce the need for foundation. This serum is doing a great job! I use it twice a day before my sun screen or my night cream, and my skin is much more comfortable. The ingredients are clean, basic and using this has made a noticeable difference. My skin appears smoother, plumper, and overall much healthier. I think this just means that my skin is a little stressed and I’m hopeful that the vitamin B is strengthening my skin barrier and making it calmer. This product comes in a nice glass bottle with a dropper so you can see the amount of product there is left. I'm so thankful there is affordable skincare that works.

I have been using the Eau Thermale Avène Hydrance Boost Concentrated Hydrating Serum for the past month and I am in love with it. It's so good. The serum comes in a 30ml glass bottle with a dropper that's very easy to use. The serum itself is clear, thick and juicy. It does have a scent but it's subtle and very appealing to me. It smells florally. I love to use my serum both morning and night after first cleansing and toning my combination skin. It slips over my skin with ease and absorbs within less than 30 seconds and doesn't leave any film or residue on my skin. Immediately after application my skin feels hydrated, bouncy and soft. When applied at night time, the following morning my skin feels incredible and looks smoother and healthy. After 4 weeks of continuous use I can see how this serum plumps my frown lines. My skin looks more luminous and my pores aren't as open. My skin has never felt so juicy and hydrated. I can't stop touching my face. This is the best hydrating serum I have ever used. I definitely recommend this and will continue to purchase it.

This serum is amazing, leaves my skin feeling so soft and dewy I use this along side a vitamin c serum and a dewy moisturiser I have been getting compliments about my skin since I started using this product it has been amazing I never knew I would need or love a product so much I have other avene products and they are all just amazing once I run out I will be 100% going and buying more and also seeing what else they other since this product has worked amazingly for me The price is a good price it isn't to steep I don't feel dry or oily with this serum it's a good base product to build with or start out your skin care life with

I have never used such a light serum with this amount of hydration. So comfortable and light on the skin and left my cheeks feeling soft and plump all day! I used it most nights and my skin woke up not feeling dry/dehydrated at all. I have been using the Hydrance Boost Concentrated serum consecutively for the last couple weeks and overall I really like how it sits on my skin. The formula is very light weight and hydrating and feels fresh. I have combination skin with an oily t-zone and dry patches around my nose and I feel the serum has really helped to balance my skin's hydration as my dry patches are minimal now and makeup sits well. Overall I would definately recommend this serum!

I have been using serums for a long time on my skin, and this product is by far one of my favourites that I have tried. The hydrance boost concentrated hydrating serum is a beautiful consistency on my face, leaving my face to feel a boost of hydration. I have dry skin, but once I put this serum on my face I instantly feel hydration. I love the glow this product leaves on my face, it is perfect in the mornings leaving you with hydrating glowly skin. I love the freshness of the scent of the product too! Definitely recommend this product!

Great moisturising serum - worked really well as the second step of my routine and I could definitely feel that my skin was more hydrated. I have pretty dry and sensitive skin so this will be perfect going into winter for the extra hydration needed. My only wish would be for it to be unscented like many other similar products as it was a fairly strong scent - but not really a big deal more of a personal preference. Had a lovely texture too - not sticky or too watery. Would certainly recommended to others - so great to have options for sensitive skin like this.

I received this product as part of the review crew. My skin tends to be typically falls on the drier side so I loved the moisture and hydration boost this offered. I really liked the formula of the serum as it is not sticky and sinks well into the skin. Great to wear under make up and doesn't cause any pilling. Very minimally scented which I enjoyed as I am not a fan of over fragrance scents. I did find after a three week trial period was skin felt visibility more hydrated and smooth. A great serum that is affordable and simple to implement into daily life. Would purchase!

The Avène Hydrance Boost Concentrated Hydrating Serum is a refreshing skincare product. However, I wouldn’t say it keeps my skin feeling nourished for the full day. It does feel hydrating to begin with, but I always have to apply another product, like moisturiser, on top so it doesn't feel tacky on my face. Overtime, I got used to the texture and began to like it, as the serum applied smoothly. I followed up with a moisturiser and SPF which made for a great make-up base. My skin has not had any significant changes resulting from the use of this product. I probably wouldn’t repurchase, just because I feel as though it didn’t add any benefit to my skincare routine. But overall it is a nice, rejuvenating product.

I have normal to dry skin that is eczema prone. The serum sinks into the skin well leaving behind a nice dewy hydrating finish. Moisturiser and make up sit well over the top and it doesn’t pill. Over a couple of weeks I didn’t notice a change or improvement in my overall skin health other then after immediately applying the product. I liked it as a hydrating step in my routine. I would not purchase this product as I did not have skin concerns that this product may address. If you are looking to add a hydrating step into your routine to try and achieve the glazed donut looking skin it may be worth giving it a go.

This has been good to add to my routine as the change of the season is upon us. I have dry combo skin that can be a tad sensitive. I use cetaphil gentle cleanser, balense brightening serum and cetaphil moisturising cream. I found this serum works best by applying to my damp face after cleansing and before the brightening serum. It applies nicely and soaks in quickly. Then I apply the moisturiser. I did try this once without the moisturiser and it didn't work at all, its like the moisturiser seals it in. It also doesn't have a scent, which I like. Overall I am happy with this, but don't think it's a necessity for me, since I use a rich moisturiser.

I was super impressed with the Eau Thermale Avène Hydrance Boost Concentrated Hydrating Serum. As someone who has dehydrated skin, it's hard to find a deeply hydrating and nourishing skincare products that adds and retains moisture to my skin, This serum did exactly that. The glass bottle and dropper applicator allows for quick and easy use of the product. The serum itself has a lovely fluid and lightweight feel and once applied to the skin, it sinks in beautifully, leaving no tacky or heavy residue. My skin instantly felt hydrated, more plump and smoother in texture. I noticed that this serum delivered on lasting hydrating and my skin overall looked more hydrated and radiance, where it used to be dull and dehydrated. It works well when layered with other skincare products as well as below makeup.

I was looking forward to testing out the Avène Hydrance Boost Concentrated Hydrating Serum as I have been suffering from dry and dehydrated skin with the cold weather coming in. I was only able to use the serum for a total of 3 days before I had to cease use. Unfortunately, this product is not for me and my sensitive eczema prone skin. Upon opening, I noticed a very strong fragrance. I patch tested the serum on my neck and did not have any adverse reaction over 24 hours. The next day I began to use the serum on my face, and by day 3 of use, I had severe redness, bumps and irritation. My skin felt so itchy, and was visibly red, dry and flaky. I noticed a significant decrease in hydration. I feel that the strong fragrance likely caused the redness, welts and sensitivity I experienced as I have not had issue with other hyaluronic acids serums I have used over the years. I was surprised by this product as I have had much success with Avène products over the years and have used them with no trouble at all. It’s taken some work to get my skin back on track after briefly using this product. I feel that the Avène Hydrance Boost Concentrated Hydrating Serum is not suitable for sensitive skin or people with fragrance allergies, but would probably be nice for people with normal skin who enjoy the experience of fragrance.

I quite like this serum! It’s between watery and thick, the perfect consistency, and it smells so nice! Like a subtle expensive smell. My skin went to bed glowy, and woke up the same! I felt it left my skin looking clear in the morning and smooth. I liked that it wasn’t sticky and dried quickly on your skin before bed. It didn’t leave any residue which was great. I’m picky with night serums, because I love them, but this one was great! All in all this was a great product, and I’m glad I got to try it! The dropper bottle was excellent too and a little goes a long way!

This is an absolutely amazing product! It has a very light and watery texture, and when I apply it onto my face, I feel so hydrated and fresh. This freshness and hydration stays on for a very long time. I usually pair it with a face moisturiser. I have a problem of dry skin and this product really works wonders as when I use it under my moisturiser, it keeps the moisture locked in my skin and I do not feel the need to reapply my moisturiser. It actually delivers on what it claims to do. Already in love with product and would definitely buy again and recommend it to my friends and family, especially those who have dry skin like me.

I haven’t been using many skincare products recently so it was a great time to try this product. It’s an extremely thin, watery product that applies and spreads easily. It absorbs into the skin quickly as well. It didn’t make my skin red at all after application. I used it once daily for 2 weeks and have noticed my skin is more hydrated and bouncy. Especially on the drier areas, I have noticed that with this product and exfoliating every second day the dry patches are basically disappearing and are way more hydrated then what they were. The product has a good amount and you only need a few small dots on each area of your face so it will last a good time and is a great price.

Great hydrating Serum that is lightweight and gentle on sensitive skin. I usually experience irritation with hyularonic acid, but this Serum was so gentle on my skin, even with daily use. I prefer to spray the Avene water mist before applying this as I find it more effective. It's done wonders to my dehydrated and combination skin. Definitely a staple for any skincare routine and is suitable for all skin types, including dry and oily. I've already bought another one for once my current knee runs out and I've recommended it to my mum.

Love this product! Coming into the winter months my skin gets so dry and this product has absolutely saved it. I use this at night after spraying my face with the Avène thermal spring water and it locks in the moisture and leaves my skin feeling so soft and hydrated when I wake up. I don't find this product leave my skin feeling tacky, which is an issue I've had with other products. It also doesn't irritate my skin at all. I would definitely purchase this again as I find it to work really well with my other skincare products. It's also really easy to find in person, which is so helpful because it's easy to find when I run out!

If you’re a lover of Avene’s Thermal Spring Water, high chance you will love this serum. This is a super lightweight serum with a water-like texture which makes sense given the first ingredient is their iconic spring water. I love the subtle floral, fresh scent and the glass dropper (the best dropper I’ve used in ages!), however, I wanted to love this serum, and while I do love the lightness, non-sticky, quick absorbance, it sadly doesn’t shine on it’s own. This serum relies on being part of a routine and followed up with a moisturiser so it’s hard to tell if it truly does live up to it’s claim of 48 hour hydration. I concur my skin felt revitalised and soothed on first application but my skin was always left craving more. It was challenging to tell if this serum provided long-lasting hydration because anytime I trialed it solo, without following up with a moisturiser, my skin was tight and flaky once the initial glow of the serum soaked in and faded. A product named hydrance boost shouldn’t rely on the rest of the hydrance range to boost itself and its claims. If you’re a minimalist, this is one to skip.
