Dr. LeWinn’s Line Smoothing Complex S8 Triple-Action Defence

This is a lovely serum housed in a beautiful bottle that is just a joy to use. It's easy to mix with other serums and moisturisers in my skincare routine and doesn't cause any irritation. I've also used it on its own and found it to be very pleasant and hydrating, which has been great with the warm, dry air we have been experiencing recently. I think this serum provides very effective hydration, it makes skin look plump and healthy, but I would not say that it has resulted in a marked improvement to existing fine lines after several weeks of use. However, my fine lines have been there for years and a serum is not really going to be able to do much about those. I would say that it is probably a more effective product to start using if you want to avoid the development of fine lines, as it has some great anti-aging ingredients.

I’m not very familiar with Dr. LeWinn’s so I was keen to give this a try. First up, I’ve never seen packaging quite like this before! The clear bottle allows you to see the product and it’s very satisfying seeing all the millicapsules blend together when the product is dispersed from the pump! Two pumps was enough for me to cover my entire face and neck area. There is quite a noticeable scent but I wouldn’t say it’s overpowering or offensive. The gold millicapsules burst to leave behind a light glow on the skin when the product is applied over the face, which is very lovely. I’m not sure I noticed any changes to fine lines, but I would say the product left my skin feeling soft and hydrated. Would recommend!

Having trialled this product for a few weeks, I found that it was not only did it have a lovely aesthetic but it’s a great addition to my skincare routine. I have dry sensitive skin with a slightly uneven skin tone. This product left my face hydrated with a lovely natural glow. It blends well with other skincare products, sunscreen and make up. I could feel the hydration internally rather than on the superficial layer of skin - it felt ‘plump’ with hydration. I didn’t really notice the line smoothing aspect of this product and also don’t fully appreciate the price point. However having used it for a few weeks, the bottle does last quite sometime.

I've never used a Dr Lewinn's product before but this may have gotten me hooked! I have seen massive improvements since using this treatment and have had many comments on how my skin is glowing. The treatment is smooth and silky and the peptides dissolve within the pump. It goes on smoothly and leaves a slight tacky texture but does not pill when interacting with other products. I have been using this product morning and night and combined with a retinol every 2-3 I have seen a marked improvement in my fine lines and discolouration. My only complaint is that the top of the pump came off after a week or so of using the product, though it did not interfere with the product. I also wish there was more in the bottle!

I can attest to though this product was provided for review, it was stipulated that 3 weeks of testing should past before a review was written, kudos to beautycrew. I really enjoyed this serum, however I do not believe the price is a justification. It was not tacky, greasy or sticky and dried down without a residue. It did not have a cloying scent and layered well beneath moistures and makeup. It is not high enough in concentration of either vitamin C or other ingredients that are capable of long term skin benefits. The serum contains millicapsules, that are crushed in dispensing, however I couldn’t help feel they were nothing more than a gimmick. . I would like to be able to use this everyday a little too expensive. I use the Dr Lewinns day cream and apply this the night before special occasions. I love Dr Lewinns product and this is no exception. Makes my complexion look alive and refreshed and seem to smooth out my lines as well. Quite expensive and is really a luxury and not part of my everday skincare routine. This product is amazing, the little granules dissolve when you pump out a small amount to use, it gets absorbed quickly and easily, has a lovely fragrance and keeps your skin feeling amazing. You only need a small amount for each application. unfortunately a little pricey at around $75 per bottle. absorbs well, smells lovely, makes your skin feel great. too expensive.

As a newbie to Dr. LeWinn's, I was excited to review this serum as i) the ingredients seem to be backed by science and b) I am always on the lookout for the 'ultimate' anti-ageing serum. Firstly, I was happy to have zero irritation with this product, as I have sensitive skin. From then, I was pleased to see the product working over a few weeks to deliver fresh and radiant skin. I started using the product with a breakout around my chin and was pleased that the redness and irritation seemed to go down, but not disappear. But that's fine because this product is targeting lines, wrinkles and ageing. Following winter I also had dry patches that were evened out by this product (alongside moisturiser). I can certainly say my skin is looks lovely, soft and clearer after using this product and I will repurchase and I continue to try and reduce fine lines and signs of ageing. Other benefits include lovely packaging, generous amount of product (i.e. a few pumps goes a long way and I was using from the top of my head down to my chest) and ingredients that seem to work hard on your skin. Am a new fan of Dr. LeWinn's products!

I was sent this as a trial through review crew. I really enjoyed using it along with the accompanying eye serum. I found my skin felt tighter, brighter, more even and seemed to have a glow. I used this for 4 weeks morning and night (in my usual skincare routine) and really think it made a noticeable difference to my skin. The scent is inoffensive (I am usually not a fan of scent in skincare) I have not previously used and Dr. LeWinn's products but after using this am interested in trying more. Would purchase and have recommended to friends.

This product goes on smoothly. It doesn't cause any irritation or redness. It contains peptides which actually work to soften wrinkles and lines. It's also great as a serum as it's easy to wear under your usual moisturiser, foundation or sunscreen. while using this product my skin felt smoother and softer. Also, this product is an Aussie brand, which makes me feel comfortable to use. Even though i liked the results of this product, i personally would not purchase and use as fine line and wrinkles are not a concern for my skin. The packaging of this brand was simple and sleek. it was easy to open and close and I liked the colour of the product itself. the product didn't leave any pigment or discolouration on my skin so it was great to wear under makeup. I used this product every morning as part of my morning skincare routine. I used this product for four weeks and found it caused no irritation or outbreaks. I recommend this product if you are looking for something to give your skin that boost and target fine lines and wrinkles.

What a surprise this was-liquid gold! This serum felt great once applied and the results were fabulous after a few weeks. You only need a small amount to apply to face and neck area. The scent is very light , and really hydrated my skin overnight. I have seen a difference in the texture of my skin and it feels so much softer. The packaging and bottle look amazing and it’s very easy to dispense. This is one I would recommend to anyone looking for brighter, plumpier skin!! Worth the price ti get the results!

I actually really love this product. I have dehydrated and dry skin and I usually follow a full-on skin care routine to keep my skin hydrated and soft. Since having a baby I definitely reduced number of steps in my routine and my skin started to show the results of being overtired and neglected. To my surprise this serum is sometimes the only product I apply in the morning (plus SPF) and I feel really good about my skin all day long. It feels hydrated and glowing. The formula is smooth, easy to apply and feels refreshing on the skin. I use 2-3 pumps for face, neck and decolletage. The bottle itself looks amazing. After using it for 3 weeks my skin is definitely more hydrated, firmer and softer. I am going to continue using it and would definitely recommend it to a friend. .

Another beautiful product from this home grown brand. The key active ingredients are luscious - nourishing caviar extract (gold), revitalising black currant oil, super antioxidant lipochroman-6 (lilac) and moisturising vitamin e (white). Upon application, the coloured baubles containing the ingredients are crushed to release the active ingredients. The product blends evenly and smoothly and is absorbed readily by the skin. The fragrance is light and super pleasing, the packaging is beautiful and adds to the luxe aesthetic of the product. I layered the serum over retinol and niacinamide products, and combined with the matching eye cream from this range before completing with a retinol based night cream and moisturising oil to seal in. My skin feels beautiful, glows without makeup and has definitely benefitted from the addition of this product to my regime.

I have combination skin and always end up with dry skin on my nose and oily patches across my cheeks. Add getting older so fine lines and dark circles are becoming more of an issue for me. This product and the matching eye serum have been game changers. After a few weeks of use my skin is smoother, plumper, less dry patches and fine lines are looking finer. It did take the few weeks to build it up to really noticeable results so it is a product to stick with. The glittery glow at first took some getting used to but after I reduced the amount I was using it was less bright on my face. A little goes a long way with this range, so don’t pump out a heap! Start with little bits at a time. The smell is ok, it’s not strong or overly fragranced. I don’t wear makeup so can’t comment on how they go together.

I have so much praise for this gorgeous product. Dr.LeWinn's Line Smoothing Complex Triple Action Defence is a luxurious product which makes me look forward to my twice daily face care routine like never before. I adore the appearance of the pretty violet, gold and silver tiny pearly capsules and the way that they burst open upon pumping to release the magic of the line smoothing elixir within. With the first application I felt the very slightest of tingles which felt refreshing and energizing. The serum glides on ever so smoothly leaving a shimmering glow which fades, leaving nourished, softened and very, very comfortable skin. I noticed the difference in the smoothness of my skin within days and wished that I had taken before photos. I will definitely be continuing to use this product as I always want my skin to look and feel this good. A truly wonderful, pampering product.

This product was visually very appealing and I was very surprised when I pumped the product out and it appeared a light lilac on the hand. Luckily the purple hue doesn't translate to much of the colour when applied and only gives a slight brightening effect to the skin. The serum is fragranced but the scent is light, unobtrusive and doesn't linger. Although I'm not able to speak to the long term effects of using this serum as the trial was over a period of weeks, I can say that it did not have any negative effects on my sensitive skin. I however did not find it exceptionally hydrating either which isn't a total surprise as Alcohol is relatively high on the ingredient list. Overall, I would say this is an okay product but the results don't entice me to spend the RRP to purchase.

Having been in lockdown and able to research all things natural I've absolutely loved this product. The microcapsules keep all the goodness within them and with a click of the nozzle you get a mixture of moisturiser/ serum. It spreads smoothly on the skin and works fabulously under makeup. My skin feel plumper and less dry. And my makeup stays put not smudging into fine lines or flaking. Dr Lewinns has also thought about the packaging so that not a single drop will go to waste. Perfect in every way.

Dr LeWinn’s Line Smoothing Serum is not only great to look at but also works really well. The packaging is super intriguing with the gold and purple balls suspended in the gel. Upon first application, the coloured balls, were crushed which made the serum gold and purple, very cool! I have dry skin and it did not irritate my akin at all. I used this for 4 weeks before reviewing it and it had a visual effect on my skin. It removed the texture around my chin and my skin glowed in the morning. It also smells like fresh raspberries which is a nice touch!

I was pleasantly surprised when I had the opportunity to trial this product along with the eye serum. After trialling for the full period, I have def seen an improvement in my complextion. My skin overall feels brighter and clear. When used in conjunction with the eye serum, I have noticed the fine lines around my eyes have softened. It's a hard task for a product to completely smooth and repair fine lines, therefore the results I have seen to date have been promising. I love the whole look and feel of this product. The packaging is beautiful with the clear formula that you can see the purple and gold millicapsules, of which contains caviar extract! This is an easy to use pump bottle, with 2 pumps enough for both morning and evening use. It's almost like a gel consistiency that absorbs lovely into the skin. Formulated with Vitamin E, this has contributed to repairing my skin and providing the moisture and hydrating it needs. I would recommend this range.

I'm so glad I got to try the Dr LeWinn's Line Smoothing Complex S8 Triple Action Defence because I love it! The serum comes in a 30g tube with a pump lid, so it is nice and easy to use. It is a clear serum 3 different size/coloured pearls within in. The pearls actually all get crushed when you pump the serum out to use it, which releases all the active ingredients which is awesome. It has a very light fragrance that smells fresh and my skin felt really refreshed when I applied it. It is light and absorbs well (although it felt a little sticky for only a minute or two). I used this serum morning and night for about a month and have noticed a huge difference in the texture and condition of my skin. My skin is a lot smoother, a little brighter and MUCH softer so I really recommend this one.

I have tried the Line Smoothing Complex Triple Action Defence for a number of weeks and have found it to be a solid well performing serum that has helped to smooth the fine lines on my face, particularly around my mouth and my skin generally appeared a little brighter. A little bit of product goes a long way so I can see this lasting some time. The packaging is great because you can see how much product remains but it also looks nice with the coloured beads, which break open as you apply the product. It is relatively light and didn't feel sticky at all.
