Dove Intensive Repair Shampoo

The shampoo came in a convenient pump bottle which is great in the shower because you don’t have to open anything and can just pump directly into your palm the amount you need. It has a classic but fresh Dove scent slightly on the feminine side, but neutral enough to leave a clean smell for anyone. The product lathers well and pairs well with the conditioner. I did end up doing two rounds of wash as my hair is very thick, but I do this with most shampoos anyway. My hair was left supple with an angelic amount of volume when heat styling. I also washed, conditioned, and air dried on a curly day and was pleasantly surprised with the way my waves held.

I tested out the Dove Intensive Repair Shampoo range, thanks to BeautyCrew Review Crew and it does the job! It smells good - a nice clean smell but not too heavily fragranced. Unfortunately, It's not ideal for my type of curly hair due to a couple of the ingredients. It has however been declared curly gurl friendly for anyone wondering. It does smell great and washes well though. We keep it in the main bathroom for guests. With the size of this bottle, it will probably last forever in our main bathroom.

I grew up using a lot of Dove products, so I was interested to see how the current range would perform. I like to mix up the shampoo and conditioners I use on my hair, and was excited to see how the 'intensive repair' products would work on my hair. For context, my hair is on the drier side, but not overly damaged. The shampoo applies and lathers well, rinses out easily, and does seem to clean the hair and scalp well. The fragrance is a little stronger than I would prefer, but it is pleasant. My hair looks clean and healthy after using this shampoo in conjunction with the conditioner from the same range. For the price, I think this is a decent and affordable 'repair' hair care range.

Absolutely in love with this product. The smell is amazing and lasts all day, highly moisturising and I can actually go without washing my hair everyday. The only thing I have noticed is it makes my scalp a little itchy but apart from that an overall great shampoo. I've had a lot of comments about my hair looking very healthy. I even used it on my 7 year old who has African afro hair and it was so easy detangling her hair on wash day, I've tried so many shampoos for her hair but will definitely buy this one again.

It has left my hair nice and soft the end have been repaired and are no longer spilt I feel it has help the itching I get when I don’t wash my hair for sometime. But when I have it tied up for a long period it feels very tight and I need to let my hair out. The product is great if you need to repair your hair but I would suggest using it when you need to, but use a regular or less intense repair shampoo. Overall a god product and I will continue to use it when I need to repair my ends and need to really clean my hair. It would be good for a more dense and course hair.

Lovely scent! Loads of luscious white foam!! My hair feels super clean and fresh, slightly dry but my hair is very dry and damaged anyway. The conditioner is very silky and hydrating though so the end result is perfect. Overalls using this shampoo with the conditioner, my hair is left super silky and smooth, zero tangles and no breakage during brushing. It's shiny and smooth after drying too. I recommend this product for dry damaged or knotty hair. Great for kids knotty hair too. They loved using the thick pearly white cream on their hair Smells so good!

Intensive Repair Shampoo for damaged hair is a great supermarket shampoo. It makes the hair super soft and prevents it from further damage as well. I have extremely dry, frizzy hair, which gets worst in winters. This shampoo helped in reducing frizz. It cleans the hair without over stripping and drying out the hair. Also makes the hair feel super light and bouncy. The shampoo has a nice consistency which makes it easy to use and is easily distributed throughout the scalp. It foams up well, you do not require to use a lot of it. It also has a sweet fragrance which is not over powering and lingers around even after the wash for a long time. The shampoo comes in an easy to use pump bottle which makes it easy to dispense in the shower. Best results when used with the intensive repair conditioner. Loving it for my hair. Totally recommend to try & will definitely repurchase again.

Thanks to Review Crew I was given the opportunity to trial Dove Intensive Repair Shampoo and Conditioner. First of all the packaging is perfect for easy use, especially with the pump top. The smell is divine, definitely reminds me of salon smells! This shampoo lathered very well even in my very long wavy hair and my hair was soft and smooth without being weighed down. I like to use this shampoo perhaps once a week or fortnight to interchange with my usual shampoo to switch things up a bit. It's always good to wash any possible buildup from different products away. I give this 4 stars.

This is my new favourite shampoo brand from the supermarket. I never try Dove shampoo before and now I think It will be my go to shampoo. I have an oily root hairs and it is a bit dry at the end. Afternoon one week trying it, i can tell that my hairs feel much better and soft. I only needed to use a small amount of this shampoo as it lathers very well. However my hairs still feel a bit oily on the second day after washed. The smell is vey nice and not too strong. I like it vey much and will buy it again after I finish with my first bottle.

I really loved this shampoo! The smell is great, texture is nice and smooth and the way it cleaned my hair was great. My hair looked fresh and clean for 3-4 days after using this and didn't get oily. It didn't affect my blonde dyed hair and provided me with silky smooth hair that even high end products haven't been able to help me achieve. The large bottle with a pump is also super handy as it makes it easy to use in the shower and lasts for ages, which is always a bonus. The price of this shampoo is so reasonable and I would recommend this to everyone.

I’ve trailed the Dove Intensive Repair Shampoo for over a week now, its aimed to give hair extra nourishing care all whilst being gentle and cleansing. It’s formulated specially for damaged hair and also claims to prevent 98% of daily hair damage. I have long, thick, wavy hair. I’m currently gone back to my natural dark colour from ashy blonde so you can imagine how damage and fried my hair would be. Upon first use, I noticed the smell. It smells absolutely beautiful, almost heavenly. It’s not overwhelming, just very subtle. It lathers up really well and truly a small amount goes a long way however I like to double shampoo due to using hairspray and gel during the day. After drying, I immediately felt the difference. My hair was softer and smoother. When completely dry, my hair didn’t have as much frizz or flyways sticking up. It had a glossy shine and all over looking healthy almost like salon results. I’m super impressed with this shampoo and highly recommend giving it a try.

Absolutely love this shampoo. It is a massive bottle so would get a long time out of the one purchased. The pump makes it very easy to use. I didn’t have to use much as it lathered really well. The smell is divine which I enjoyed. I have quite oily hair and it is quite damaged from frequent bleach and it left my hair feeling silky smooth. I also found I didn’t have to wash my hair as often as the shampoo must have kept the oils at bay. Absolutely would recommend this product. Is definitely one of the best supermarket shampoos you can buy.

Firstly, I feel the need to point out the awesomeness of this company for giving a 820ml trial. That in itself is fantastic. It means I can give it a real go without running out, and my family can trial it too. Thankyou so much Dove. I have curly long hair, so finding something that helps my hair can be a challenge. I did find because I have so much hair, that I needed to use a bit more to get all my hair lathered and cleaned. But if the product works, I don't mind that at all. Now we have all had to deal with covid, and the shut-downs that happened, no hairdresser to cut my hair. I got so sick of the length of my hair, I did the no no thing and cut it myself. Since then we have had floods here completely wipe out our town. No access to hairdressers. My hair was really getting angry at me. I used this Dove shampoo with thinking it wasn't going to do much for me. I was wrong. I was able to wash my hair, condition it with the Dove intensive shampoo and conditioner, and be able to brush my hair afterwards. After letting my hair dry naturally, it was soft, sat nice and didn't knot up quickly as it usually did. Now because I have curly hair, I still need to use a leave in conditioner or some hair food to keep the curls looking great, this shampoo will not stop that as I've found out. But it was far better than alot of othe brands that I have been trying. Dove have some really good products and I'd be more than happy to purchase this product when I run out.

I really enjoyed using this shampoo on my hair. My hair is a bit dry and needs moisture and conditioning on a regular basis. Using this shampoo and the conditioner from the same range helped my hair in becoming softer and smoother. It is an intensive repair shampoo and it actually works on your hair to treat the dryness, which I liked the most about this shampoo. I liked the way my hair felt after the wash. This is something to be added to my hair care routine and I would definitely recommend this product to my family and friends.

Dove intensive Repair shampoo smells great and it left my hair feeling good.It also is a great value for the quality and quantity.I prefer the conditioner over the shampoo but it’s just a personal preference.I also like the smell as it is not too overwhelming.I also like the idea that it is easily accessible in the shops,chemists etc. I would highly recommend this product to customers that wants a quality product at a better price.The only minor downside is labelling,perhaps more clearer for people who has difficulty seeing.Apart from that I’m happy with the product

When first receiving the dove intensive repair shampoo and conditioner I did not have very high hopes, as I’ve always been told with my thick wavey hair that “drug store” products would not be good for me. When I first used the shampoo it lathered up quite a bit so I though here we go it’s going to dry out my hair. I was so surprised with how my hair felt after washing it- definitely did not dry it out and weighed down some of my frizz/ boof. Would not recommend for hair that is thin and oily but works very well on my dry, dyed hair.

I’m a big fan of pump bottles in the shower so I was especially excited to try this shampoo on my dry, damaged and lackluster hair. It’s so quick and easy to dispense the product which is especially appreciated if I’m short on time. The size of the bottle is huge too so it’s great value for money. The scent is so lovely! It’s not too strong and one I see most, if not all, people enjoying. The shampoo has a nice consistency, not too thin, and it foams up very nicely so I only needed to use 1-1.5 pumps for my mid-back length hair. It doesn’t irritate my scalp, which is prone to flaking and itchiness in winter. It rinses out easily and doesn’t leave my hair dry and stringy like some shampoos do after rinsing, so this would likely be a good option for anyone who doesn’t use conditioner. Since using this shampoo, in conjunction with the matching conditioner, my hair has improved noticeably. I have natural waves/loose curls which aren’t apparent when my hair is limp and dull. Since using this, my hair has bounce and shine, being free to be its natural self. It not only looks more nourished and beautiful, it feels like it too. It’s also much stronger and I’m certain it has been repairing my hair quickly as I have a reduction in the amount of hair I lose when showering, brushing or simply removing a hair tie. I definitely recommend Dove Intensive Repair Shampoo to anyone who has hair in need of repair. The pump bottle makes it ideal for anyone who finds squeeze bottles cumbersome, like those with symptoms of arthritis, and it’s hydrating and nourishing. The only con would be that it isn’t free of “nasties” like sulphates, so if avoiding such ingredients this won’t be an option, which is a shame. If ingredients aren’t a concern then I highly recommend giving this shampoo a go for quick and effective results!

A high recommendation from me for Dove Intense Repair Shampoo. Firstly the shampoo comes in an easy to use pump bottle. It applies easily and lathers well. I was really impressed with the scent and found that my hair kept that fresh smell days after washing. I do have oily hair with oil build up and this shampoo did an amazing good at thoroughly cleaning my scalp and my hair. The fact that it cleans so well for a supermarket shampoo is a big selling point for me, what's the point in paying for expensive shampoos.

I have nothing bad to say about the shampoo. It is easily accessible in supermarkets and the price is quite decent for the amount of product you get. I tried the shampoo for couple of weeks it cleaned my hair thoroughly and left it smelling nice and fresh. It helps repair if you have damaged hair. Definitely worth giving a try sometimes supermarket shampoo’s will do the job that the most expensive shampoo’s won’t do. I would definitely recommend this shampoo who is happy to try new stuff and not afraid to try supermarket shampoo’s.
