Dove Intensive Repair Conditioner

The conditioner came in a convenient pump bottle which is great in the shower because you don’t have to open anything and can just pump directly into your palm the amount you need. It has a classic but fresh Dove scent slightly on the feminine side, but neutral enough to leave a clean smell for anyone. The product lathers well and pairs well with the shampoo. The conditioner does a decent job of detangling as well. My hair wash left supple with an angelic amount of volume when heat styling. I also washed, conditioned, and air dried on a curly day and was pleasantly surprised with the way my waves held.

I tested the Dove Intensive Repair Conditioner alongside the Dove Intensive Repair Shampoo. It smells great and I really rate the level of conditioning this product gives me. This bottle is actually huge! We've put it in our main bathroom for guests and it will last forever. It has a pretty regular conditioner smell. It is fragranced but not in an overpowered way. It's supposedly curly girl approved but I'm not 100% sure on that. I much prefer the conditioner over the shampoo that it comes with. I think thats likely due to my curly hair.

I was excited to trial this conditioner in conjunction with the shampoo from the same 'intensive repair' range from Dove. I used a lot of Dove products growing up, but hadn't use too many in recent years. I have dry hair which could definitely use a little pick me up lately, so I had my fingers crossed these products would work for me. The conditioner applies well, rinses out easily without leaving any unwanted residue. Similarly with the shampoo, the fragrance is a little stronger than I would prefer, but it is pleasant. My hair looks clean and healthy after using this conditioner in conjunction with the shampoo from the same range. For the price, I think this is a decent and affordable 'repair' hair care range.

Love love love this conditioner combined with intensive repair shampoo. Highly moisturising someone's a little too much. You don't need a lot of this conditioner at all. My hair feels great, soft and silky. Since using the combination I've had several comments about my hair looking healthy. I've also used it on my daughters hair who has African afro hair, OMG that was the first time I could actually run my fingers through her hair without screaming Amazing smell which lasts all day. The only downside I've noticed is it can make my scalp a little itchy but other than that overall great product and I will purchase again.

It has a great smell it leaves my hair soft and silky after it’s dried the smell stays for a long time after as well which nice when your working long busy days and don’t often wash your wash that much, it’s a large bottle which can be difficult for you if you have a small shower but it’s worth the buy. Combined with the shampoo it leaves my hair the best it has felt it years after a shower. It’s best to leave it to dry naturally then to blow dry it as it can sometimes leave it feeling a little dry at the ends afterward

Surprisingly effective at creating silky locks! I actually didn't have high expectations but after application I noticed straight away that my hair was suuuper duuuper silky. It brushed very easily and there was absolutely no breakage. My hair felt very hydrated and smooth. It was easy to brush and dry and I was left with shiny smooth hair that smelled divine. My bf even noticed the smell of my hair and he rarely notices. My kids both used it and loved the smell too, they loved applying the thick white cream to their hair. They also had beautifully soft easily combed hair after use. I recommend this for dry, damaged and Knotty hair. A great one for the family, especially kids who suffer from knotty hair!

Thanks to Beauty Crew I was given the opportunity to trial this conditioner along side the matching shampoo. As with the conditioner, the packaging is sensible and the pump top is fabulous - why all shampoo's and conditioners don't have them is beyond me! The smell is lovely and not overpowering. My hair can be quite frizzy and I feel that this conditioner tones the frizziness down without making my hair greasy. Using it together with the matching shampoo has a much better impact on the softness of my hair and also the smell of the shampoo and conditioner is divine. Fragrance layering at it's best!

First, let me tell you about my hair. I have wavy, dry hair, which is prone to frizz and unmanageable at times. I have used this conditioner with the shampoo from same range and with other shampoos too and the result in both cases was quite the same. It made my hair soft to touch, did not weigh down my hair, controlled frizz to some extent and hair was shiny. You also don’t need a ton of it to get smooth locks. However, they have used a very strong fragrance. The consistency of the conditioner is medium, with creamy texture, which feels very luxurious. You do not need a lot as this conditioner very spreadable. The pump bottle packaging is sturdy and makes it easier to dispense the required amount of the product. This conditioner teams well with the shampoo from the same line. Overall a good conditioner from the price point. Would definitely recommend it to someone looking for a budget friendly conditioner who doesn’t mind some strong fragrance.

My experience with the Dove Intensive Repair Hair conditioner has been great. I have short length hair and sometimes it quite dry at the end. After using it for a week, I felt my hair so much softer and it is easier to brush. I don’t normally use conditioner as my hair can get quiet oily at the root after a couple days, but with Dove intensive repair my hairs just feel different and it make my hairs so soft all day. The bottle is great size and it will last me for a really long time as I don’t use a lot of conditioner on my hair. Will buy the shampoo and conditioner again after I finish with this

Absolutely love this Dove conditioner. Firstly, the smell is divine and I can smell it on my hair all day which makes me feel fresh and confident. Secondly, - little goes a long way and I don’t need to use much to get excellent coverage on my hair and the little bit I used left my hair feeling so silky smooth. Brushing my hair after use was tangle free and easy and my hair looked so healthy and clean when it was dry. As I have oily hair, I just made sure I didn’t use much on my roots and it was perfect! Will definitely be purchasing this as it’s excellent quality for store shampoo and conditioner.

I used this conditioner along with the shampoo and was pleasantly surprised by how nice this made my hair feel!!! I have been using so many high end conditioners that will still leave my hair feeling dry and tangled, but this conditioner made it feel silky smooth after the first use. It has a nice and clean smell to it which lingered for quite some time and made me feel fresh and clean for even longer than normal. I highly recommend this product and I will continue to use it. The price point is another added bonus and it is well worth the money that you would be spending on it.

I’ve trialled the Dove Intensive Repair Conditioner for over a week now. This conditioner gives hair extra nourishing care whilst being gentle and cleansing. It’s specially formulated for damaged hair whilst preventing 98% of daily hair damage. I have long, thick, wavy hair and currently gone back to my natural dark roots from ashy blonde so you can only imagine how damaged my hair was. I’m a be suffer for conditioner and am very fussy when it comes to them. I love my conditioner to not only hydrate, give smoothness but also a product that isn’t heavy or hush on my hair. This is exactly what I’ve been wanting and more! My hair frizzy, flyaways we’re kept at bay, my hair was truly living it’s best life. Super soft, shiny, smooth and knot free! Which is a double bonus! I’m super impressed with my results for a weeks usage, so I’m keen to see how much more my hair can improve by continuing.

This is actually an effective conditioner. My hair feels so soft and smooth after using this conditioner after shampooing my hair with the shampoo from the same Intensive Care range. My hair easily gets very dry which is why I always look for product that provides good conditioning and hydration to my hair and this product fits the bill. A must try along with the Intensive care shampoo for a soft and smooth finish for the hair. A product that I would buy on a regular basis now and also would recommend it to my family as well.

For starters, thankyou Dove for letting us trial a decent sized product. 820ml was enough for me to give it a good go, and let the family have a go too. Awesome stuff. So in my previous post regarding the shampoo, I explained how I have curly long hair. It did take more of the product to cover my hair than normal. But I was happy with the overall result of not having my hair tangle pretty much the same day as I washed it, which is a win for me. I still needed to use leave in conditioner or hair food in my hair, as this product was not enough for my curly hair. But i was happy with the ease of washing out and the fact my hair didn't knot up so soon.

When first receiving the dove intensive repair shampoo and conditioner I did not have very high hopes, as I’ve always been told with my thick wavey hair that “drug store” products would not be good for me. When I first used the shampoo it lathered up quite a bit so I though here we go it’s going to dry out my hair. I was so surprised with how my hair felt after washing it- definitely did not dry it out and weighed down some of my frizz/ boof. Would not recommend for hair that is thin and oily but works very well on my dry, dyed hair

I’m a big fan of pump bottles in the shower so I was especially excited to try this conditioner on my decrepit hair. It’s so quick and easy to dispense the product which is especially appreciated if I’m short on time. The size of the bottle is huge too so it’s great value for money. The scent is heavenly! It’s not too strong and one I see most, if not all, people enjoying. This conditioner has a smooth consistency, not gloppy and prone to wastage from sliding off in clumps before being properly applied like some conditioners can (great for younger kids learning to shampoo and conditioner their hair solo!). I almost always have to use more conditioner than shampoo in general, due to it not foaming, but the amount varies between types. For me, this conditioner is a winner, spreading beautifully through my hair without having to use a huge amount for effective results. 2-3 pumps was plenty for my mid-back length hair. It rinses out easily and leaves my hair instantly soft and hydrated. Since using this conditioner, in conjunction with the matching shampoo, my hair has improved noticeably. I have natural waves/loose curls which aren’t apparent when my hair is limp and dull. Since using this, my hair has bounce and shine, being free to be its natural self. It looks and feels nourished, healthy and beautiful. It’s also much stronger and I’m certain it has been repairing my hair quickly as I have a reduction in the amount of hair I lose when showering, brushing or simply removing a hair tie. I definitely recommend Dove Intensive Repair Conditioner to anyone who has hair in need of repair. The pump bottle makes it ideal for anyone who finds squeeze bottles cumbersome, like those with symptoms of arthritis, and it’s hydrating and nourishing. The only con would be that it isn’t free of irritating “nasties” like sulphates, so if avoiding such ingredients this won’t be an option, which is a shame. If ingredients aren’t a concern then I highly recommend giving this conditioner a go for quick and effective results!

I use the shampoo and conditioner together but only need a small amount to condition my hair. My hair had a silky smooth finish and the best part for me was that it prevents flyaways/stops hair from frizzing which is something I have not been able to find in other conditioners. It is a good size bottle representing value for money, and using only a small amount means that you don't go through as much so quickly. I always tended to think that more expensive shampoo and conditioner meant better quality products, the Dove Intensive Repair has definitely changed my thinking regarding this. I will recommend this product to my family and friends.

A conditioner that does the job. It made my hair feel soft and tangle-free after every use without weighing it down, especially when I avoid the roots. After every wash it leaves my hair smelling super nice and soft. Another bonus point is that it is easily accessible in any supermarket and given the quantity of product you get the price is decent. I will definitely recommend it to people who are not scared of trying new products. For best results pair this conditioner with the intensive reps air dove shampoo and use it together.

I have long straight thin dyed hair and used this product after using the Dove Intensive Repair Shampoo on a daily basis. It has a yoghurt like consistency and a gentle and delicate fragrance that lingers through the hair even after blow drying. The packaging is neat and simple, has an easy to use pump bottle and size will last you a long time. The pump bottle of the Shampoo and Conditioner are different colours for easy differentiation. I only used one pump of the product and it lathers my hair really well and distribute evenly. The product cleans my hair really well and leaves it feeling softer, smoother and stronger.
