Dior Diorskin Forever & Ever Control Loose Powder

I purchased this powder shortly after trying the Dior Forever foundation. Beautiful finely milled loose powder that settles beautifully on the skin without making the look too ‘cakey’. Only comes in one shade which makes it very universal for all shades. Packing as always looks very classy. I have tried with several diffferent foundations and always works immaculately. I use the powder everyday and is lasted me quite a while.

I got this powder together with the Dior Forever Foundation and the make up primer. I love how those products work together but also love the effect when used separately. This loose powder comes in a "safe" packaging, that is an expensive looking jar ( plastic though)that is accompanied by a kabuki brush ( and to be honest the brush is of pretty good quality and it does a great job applying the powder). The jar with the net on top reminds me a bit of cushion foundation packaging, that net makes it safe for handbags. The powder itself is extremely finely milled, there is one one shade/translucent so no stress when it comes to choosing the right one. It doesn't make the skin look ghostly white, it doesn't settle into pores, quite the opposite, it refines them and makes the skin look smooth. This loose powder sets various foundations really well. It can be used underneath the eyes as it is very lightweight. The skin looks soft, smooth and relaxed. And yes, it mattifies the skin for a long time, but at the same time gives luminosity to the skin as well. A very well executed beauty product. Yes, it might seem dear but one jar will go for ages.
