Dermalogica Phyto-Nature Firming Serum

This product really smoothed out my lines and plumped up my skin. Didn't need much of the product as it spread evenly and all over. Would recommend it to anyone with fine lines.

I have never tried a product like this so I was very thankful that it was easy to apply and did not interfere with my makeup. I didn’t see results straight away but after a week and a bit I noticed that my skin glowed. Beautiful skin always makes you feel a million dollars and years younger. I even received a compliment from a work friend that my skin looked great. I will be continuing with this product as it makes me look so good

Absolutely loved this product! Surprised to see it actually worked so well. I found a little went a long way, so one pump was enough for my face and neck. The scent is nice and not overpowering. After a week I noticed how soft and smooth my face was, and even waking up after using it at night I noticed a difference in skin texture and fine lines. It's quite expensive but I think it's an investment if you're serious about your skin.

Would you prefer something natural, kind and amazing for your skin which makes you look fresher, firmer and more glowing? Well here it is... I know I sound like an ad but honestly the difference it has made to my skin is amazing. First lets talk to 'pricepoint' as thats everyones initial reaction and stumbling block - sure, it's expensive - but hey so is botox and I would rather not stick needles into my face and inject with a poison. Is it good value? Absolutely. Do you prefer an amazing pair of well crafted shoes which are fabulous or cheap ones which rub. You get my point. I have sensitive skin and am in my 40s with the usual wear and tear starting to show - the serum is light and fresh feeling as it goes on, cooling into a firmer gel. I used 2-3 pumps in the morning with about 5 mins before a light moisturiser. Immediately my skin felt firmer and after about 5 days the texture had massively improved in appearance Fine lines smoothing out and it looked plumper and healthier. After 2weeks my skin overall looks smoother but also feels ultra soft. Quality over quantity on this one - if you want to improve your skin texture, look and feel this product works.

The serum is packaged in a bright purple bottle that was easy to use and the product information provided was informative. I felt the Dermalogica Phyto Nature Firming Serum minimised fine lines and left my skin feeling smoother. There was visible signs of firming and improvement. The serum has a lovely fresh fragrance. It was not oily at all but had a fantastic, gentle texture. I enjoyed using as, my skin was left glowing, feeling hydrated and refreshed after each application.

I was so happy to take this product for a test run. As the owner of severely dry skin, I have tried many a serum. This ones pricepoint is a bit on the lux-high end scale so I was hoping for miracles. After a few uses I found that my skin was well moisturised and somewhat plumper, making me look less tired and worn than usual. Im not used to a herbal smell, but it isnt overpowering so you get used to it. My only disappointment is probably the packaging/dispenser, seems a bit cheaply made and for the price you want your products to look the goods. But hey the product works so hopefully it sells itself.

The Dermalogica phyto-nature firming serum is lovely! It is a dual phase serum, so you need to combine the two different elements before you apply. It is on the thicker side, but applies easily and leaves the skin feeling lovely and moisturised. Due to it's thickness, I like to use this at night. It has a beautiful lavender scent which is very calming. I haven't noticed significant results as yet, but i am thoroughly enjoying the product. I would recommend getting some samples before you buy the full size (it is pricey at $220), and think it would be best suited to those who are mid-thirties and older with normal to dry skin.

I was sent this product by Beauty Crew to review and my initial reaction was shock at the price. I have no hesitation paying money for a good serum but over $200 I would expect this to perform a miracle... which it did not. Price aside this serum is very effective. After the first week I noticed a significant improvement in the texture of my skin. I have sensitive dry skin and this two phase oil/serum felt beautiful on my skin and sunk in easily with no sticky residue. After 3 weeks of using this daily I am impressed with the improvement of my skin, it feels softer and smoother and more even but unfortunately I would not pay the price to repurchase this product.

I was lucky enough to trial Dermalogica Phyto-Nature Firming Serum but I have to be honest and say I expected better results for the price tag. My skin feels lovely but I do not think it delivered as dramatic as the results I was expecting. I think there are other products on the market that work just as well for a fraction of the pricetag and ones I have tried in the same price bracket have worked better. Pros - knowing the ingredients are not artificial was a plus, I have sensitive skin and i had no adverse reactions. The serum was a little sticky at first touch but it absorbed quickly and evenly, great under makeup. Cons - THE SMELL! I know its natural, but the smell was totally off putting. I think adding a natural light-fragrance would be beneficial to this product. Conclusion - nice enough product but not worth the money

I love this Serum. The packaging is striking. When you press the pump a different serum is dispensed from each side of the tube. Once you mix them on your fingers and apply, the active ingredients combine and feel smooth on your skin. The serum has a pleasant smell and soaks in quickly. I often forgot to apply moisturiser over the top as the product does feel comfortable on the skin. I used this product to the lead up to my wedding and my skin really glowed. I noticed a difference in my skins condition, it was significantly smoother. I took the product right up to my eye and my fine lines are also a lot less noticeable. It is a pricey product but the results are beautiful. Definitely recommend!

I am a big fan of Dermalogica so of course I was excited to trial this product. This Serum glides on smoothly and absorbs nicely into the skin. I have noticed in the short time of using this product that it has improved the texture of my skin and softened fine lines that I have. You almost forget to put moisturiser over the Serum as my skin felt soft and smooth afterwards. This product really helped my complexion and my foundation looked flawless. I would highly recommend this product if you have concerns with your complexion. This is quite an expensive product but one that I will be adding to my beauty regime.

This product felt great on my skin. It has a natural cooling, silky texture that made my skin feel soft after applying. I used it in conjunction with my daily moisturiser routine and started to notice subtle changes in my skin after a couple of weeks. Unfortunately, There were a couple of issues with the dispenser so wasn’t a fan of the packaging design. However, I would recommend this serum as part of anyone’s daily routine who might be looking for a good ‘all rounder’ firming serum that also looks after your skin.

I received this product to review as part of the Beautycrew. I am a huge fan of Dermalogica as the products have always improved my skin. This serum is split into 2 separate sections that need to mixed together after you dispense a pump of it. I rub it on the back of my hand. It isn't as sticky nor does it have a strong smell. It takes awhile to absorb into my skin but I think of it as working its magic. Unfortunately it may have been my hormonal skin but the serum did not work in my favour. My skin felt blotchy after a few nights. After stopping it for a few weeks I have retried the serum and my skin seems to have accepted the magical ingredients in the serum.

The luxurious Dermalogica Phyto Nature Firming Serum has been a pleasure to use. With its relaxing aromatic fragrance, and tips on how to apply using acupressure, it makes using the serum a truly enjoyable experience. It’s a dual system (two separate serums/ nozzles that you mix after pumping). You rub them together and then apply. This serum is light but packs a heavy amount of moisture. It dries relatively fast making it easy to apply moisturiser afterwards. My skin definitely feels smoother, healthier and more supple. I have a youthful restored, glow to my skin and I attribute to this lush plant derived dual phase serum.

First of all the packaging is really nice. The bottle is very sturdy and luxe. The pump bottle is easy and convenient to use and 1 pump of product is more then enough. Being a dual phase serum the pump dispenses 2 serums at once. A quick mix together and you’re good to go. These serums are a little thicker then your average serums but once applied they sink in beautifully. One of the first things I noticed about this serum is the smell. It’s so lovely. Fresh & herbal and just what day spa’s smell like. Heaven! Whilst using this product my skin looked healthy, glowy and more plumped. I did notice a slight reduction in the appearance of frown lines and smile lines near my eyes which is always welcome. I would recommend this product and definitely would use again if the if the price tag was smaller. $220 for 1 step in my facial regime is a little too expensive for me.

This is a gorgeous lightweight serum that instantly sinks in to hydrate and firm your skin. Gentle enough to not cause any reaction on sensitive skin either. My skin improved over the 3 weeks of usage especially in hydration levels. Would recommended to people with older and dried skin types. Yes

This is a double chamber product of two serums, a "lifting phase" and "firming phase". Both serums are fluidly, look similar and absorbs into my skin quickly. It has a clean botanical fragrance that doesn't linger. During the trial, I experience a little irritation, bearing in mind I have sensitive skin with skin barrier repair in progress. That said, it hasn’t bothered me enough to stop using it and I will be curious to see what the results are after the full bottle. The pump has two nozzles which should dispense an even amount of the two serums. Unfortunately, I found this didn’t work during the first few pumps during patch testing. For $220, packaging must be effective first go! It worked fine during normal use. The product comes with a flyer for a personalised face massage and application technique at www.phytotouch.com, which anybody can access. The product claims to increase skin's luminosity, minimises the appearance of fine lines and reduces visible wrinkles. After just over 3 weeks of use, my skin feels more hydrated but I can't say any of my lines or wrinkles appear more shallow. I t didn't really make any difference to breakouts - still got them - but I think it helped with fading some marks quicker. This is definitely expensive product for $220 for 40ml and it's not something I would consider purchasing as I haven't seen results I would for that price. This should last me for about 3 months and I'm curious see if I experience further improvements with continuous use.

I've been using this product for nearly 3 weeks now, my skin is definitely softer and smoother, I'm not sure if it's wishful thinking, but my finer lines around my eyes seem to have filled out a little. My skin absorbs the serum well, it isn't sticky or oily at all. Others have noted to scent, however I don't find it unpleasant or overpowering at all. The pump action is easy to use as it dispenses the perfect amount for use. Overall, if I could afford this product, I'd use it again and again, my skin loves it! However the price puts me out of range of a regular user, being a mum of small kids, $220 isn't an option for my skincare regime. I have, however reccomended it to friends, and will continue to do so!

I was so excited to trial the Phyto Nature Serum, I love Dermalogica as a brand and find their products effective easy to use. The Phyto Nature Serum is a dual phase product with a thick, luscious texture that applies to the skin smoothly. The visosity of this product makes it more suitable for night time use, I would find it quite heavy and slippery under makeup. The airless pump is lovely and doses an appropriate amount of product. I found the scent pleasant with a lovely natural, botanical aroma reminiscent of a visit to a spa. Warning for those that may have sensitivities to scent, as there is a lavender- esque quality which can be irritating for some. I feel conflicted with the results of this serum, I wanted to love it so much but overall saw no real improvement to my fine lines or overall skin firmness and texture. I also feel that the heavier texture of this product was causing me some congestion in the T zone. I did note that my skin seem very hydrated after use. This is a pricey one, I'd really do a bit of research before investing and I'm not sure if the results were enough for me to repurchase. I find this serum quite pleasurable to use though not delivering the anticipated results I would have liked. I

There are many things I like about this product. It smells amazing, it didn't feel heavy on my skin and the 2 serums mixed well. It was not oily under my moisturizer and make up and it my skin felt good after applying. But I did not see any results of firmer skin. Being in the 40+ age group I am all about obtaining firmer skin without having to go under the knife which is why I jumped at the opportunity to try this product by Dermalogica. For the cost I expected more, i will keep using it, but I don't think I will be buying a bottle when it runs out.
