Cutex Nail Polish Remover Acetone Free

I have tried both acetone as well as acetone free nail polish remover and frankly acetone free doesn't even come close to the one with acetone. Everything about it is still the same as the one with acetone except when I try to remove my nail polish it's extremely difficult. I try to soak my nails by using a cotton pad with the acetone free liquid on it and let it sit for around several minutes before trying to take it off. I have the hardest time trying to remove my nail polish. You have to keep wiping the cotton ball onto the nail and it gets very tiring. My nail polish was regular, not shellac or gel nail polish so I knew that it had to do with the formula. I don't think I will buy acetone free nail polish again.

One pet hate I have is child locks on products. I understand that those are necessary, but would appreciate if there was an option to buy one that is just with a simple lid. That was the most annoying thing about this product - I spent so much time trying to undo the lid and promised myself I would never buy it again.  Leaving the mishaps with the packaging aside, the nail polish remover worked well. I soaked a cotton pad in it, placed it on the polish and just wiped it off. No extra rubbing was required and the remover didn't leave any residue. It also didn't dry my nails and had no scent!

You need to scrub really hard with this product to remove nail polish, it does not work very well leaving your hands and nails very dry and soft - not in a good way. The smell is incredibly strong and potent, I will not be buying this product again as it does very little and is too harsh.

I grabbed this formula accidentally when I was rushing through the shop. I went home and tried to remove my nail polish off and couldn't figure out why it took sooo long to remove it and had to dab the liquid on a few times before the polish was thoroughly removed. I then realised that I had grabbed the acetone free remover which made a significant affect on the removal of the polish. I am sure there are many health benefits for using the acetone free in comparison to the acetone based but for my sanity, I would only use this if i had all the time in the world to remove nail polishes off.
