A thoroughly decent drugstore foundation
I do like trying out makeup that’s good for my purse, so I was excited when I had the opportunity to try out this 3 in 1 foundation.
When I received the package, I was really happy that I picked a great colour match for my skin tone. When I applied it to my face, I instantly realised that a little goes a long way. I found the coverage to be quite heavy and I needed quite a long time to blend it away.
Overall, I’m really impressed that for the price, I was able to get a really decent foundation that does what it needs to do without breaking the bank.
Good Foundation, would purchase again
This foundation was easy to apply and medium coverage. I still needed to use concealer to cover some pigmentation and dark circles so I am not sold on the claim of inbuilt primer and concealer. The consistency was nice, easy to apply and blend with my fingers and didn't feel heavy at all. It did feel a little dry and not as hydrating as other foundations I have used but I didn't find it stuck to any dry skin on my face. It did last quite well all day and only started to fade after 10 hours when I got home from work before going out to dinner. Although there is not a large colour range, I found the tint suited my tone very well and blended seamlessly which I can find difficult with other foundation ranges.
Light natural coverage
I love this foundation. I love that it is a concealer, primer and foundation in one to save time. I also love the addition of spf to protect my skin. This is a medium coverage foundation which I like as I prefer medium coverage to a heavy foundation as I find it looks more natural. The consistency of this foundation is quite light and silky, it blends well, I like to use a sponge for blending. It covers imperfections well and gives a really flawless finish with ease and has a nice matte look but with no dryness or Cakiness. I love covergirl, it’s a great brand and this is a really high quality foundation at a really good price. I will buy this again, it’s great
Good coverage
This foundation provides a good coverage and a fresh look for the whole day. It was a bit tricky to find the best moisturizer to use before using this foundation. A very hydrating face cream works the best so the foundation will not look too dry on my face.
Best to apply using a foundation sponge .
I got the shade 825 Buff Beige which proved to be a bit too dark for my skin.
I found quite humorous the sticker on the back " made with foreign parts ", really funny .First time I see that on the bottle of foundation.
Excellent easy no fuss foundation.
Excellent all round, easy to blend, medium coverage foundation. Spf is a great addition, however I recommend always applying as your last skincare step before applying any makeup, including makeup that has spf - its a great layer of extra spf.
Foundation blended easily, the colour was a little light, but its hard to choose my colours as I'm covered in freckles. It's definitely medium coverage as said freckles still shone through. I didn't need to use concealer however, which is great for people who want a one step foundation routine! Covered dark circles and blemishes.
Lasted all day and felt like skin, comfortable, natural and non drying. Hopefully they release more shades, as the only down point really is not having a great range of colours.
Cover girl Outlast Extreme wear 3in1 foundation
Cover girl Exreme wear 3in1 full coverage foundation is a fantastic foundation.
It covers well and lasts great! I love that it's a concealer, primer and foundation all in one. It evened out my complection and skin tone and looked great all day long.
It was not a thick product but still had amazing coverage.
I liked the bottle but didn't like the information being stuck together and attached to the bottle as it was difficult to separate to read.
Overall a great product and would definitely use again and again!
I trialed the 820 creamy natural and it fit my tone wonderfully
Amazing foundation
This foundation by covergirl was amazing it gives you a really nice coverage without having to use to much product it goes on flawlessly the colour was a perfect match to my skin the product it self felt really nice almost like a moisturiser feeling to it. I loved how long lasting it was it stayed on my face all day didn't feel heavy didn't clog my pours didn't make me face feel heavy like I had to much product on all round I loved the product and just how versatile it was from a day wear to a evening foundation
This product really surprised me!
This foundation claimed to also be a primer so I applied it to my clean skin, It looked quite watery but the coverage was great without feeling heavy, it felt like a tinted moisturiser and didn’t dry my skin at all. I accidentally fell asleep with my makeup on and was shocked at how good the foundation still looked in the morning. I would use a different concealer for my under eye area, but the concealing element of this foundation covered all my blemishes and freckles easily. Over all great foundation that I can recommend for everyday wear or fuller makeup.
Covergirl
I haven't worn Covergirl in years, but its time to give them ago again. I was pleasantly surprised with the colour match, I got 805 ivory, I often struggle to find the right shade. You can build up for a full coverage look, but it also sheered out for a more natural look. I love the sunscreen in it(only slight smell acceptable), as I'm also thinking about sun damage. It felt light on the skin and not too heavy, was a little patchy in places but my skin is abit dry at the moment so I think it just that. As for being a primer concealer foundation in one. I would still use my primer for personal preference and concealer for brightening so that isn't a big selling point to me. I really so like this, I still have my favourites tho I will add it to the rotation especially on outdoor days.
Really good formulation
I love the formulation of this product is feels very lightweight yet gives me the coverage that I would like from a foundation. when you pump it out if feels very liquid like when pumped out almost like a moisturiser but dries effectively . It is very easy to blend and you don't even need multiple pumps of product to get the finish you desire. one downfall i would say is that it is not enough for my dark circles and i still have to use concealer on certain stuff even after it claims that it can act as a concealer though it does last me the full day with minimal creasing.
Full coverage, product clings to dry patches.
This foundation is full coverage but does not feel heavy. It has the added benefit of SPF so it's a peace of mind when going outside in the sun knowing your skin is protected. Once applied to the skin, the product can cling to dry patches, so ensure to moisturise your skin beforehand or apply a serum underneath. There also isn't much shine to the foundation as it's quite matte however this can be counteracted with a simple highlighter on the cheeks. The foundation will last all day on your skin as long as there is a powder on top so would recommend this product for those with oily skin as it was quite hard to blend.
Great full coverage foundation
I have just had a two-week trial of COVERGIRL Outlast Extreme Wear 3- in -1 Full Coverage Foundation. I have tried extended or full coverage foundations before and this product compares well with more expensive brands.
The product was easy to apply and had a silky smooth finish. It had great staying power and as I wear a mask all day for work there was little transference to the mask which was a bonus.
The foundation was good for middle-aged skin and did not have an aging effect as some long-lasting foundations do. It would benefit with a more moisturing consistency. My daughter did also try this and it looked sensational on younger skin.
Overall would recommend this product.
Surprisingly Good!
I’ve been trialling this product for a week or so now and I’ve really enjoyed it ! I generally only wear “high end” foundations so this has really been a gem product.
At first I thought that it was a little runny compared to some of my other favourite foundations but I was pleasantly surprised.
I was in the shade Ivory which was an absolutely perfect match!
Application was easy and blended like a dream, very impressed with the coverage too. I didn’t find I needed to build up on the foundation but it was definitely buildable for those wanting a fuller look.
No noticeable scent and lasted a full work day didn’t feel cakey throughout. Bonus points for no oxidising.
I especially loved the finish of this foundation and I intend to keep using and repurchase as I’m so happy with it.
Fairly impressive, good staying power
This is pretty good for a Covergirl product at their prices. It has I think a medium coverage, which is good for me. I thought I had chosen a shade too light, however I noticed it darkened a bit after application, which was an improvement.
Great that it has SPF, I just thought we had to use 30 or much higher to be effective, bit better than none.
Was quite easy to put on, I used my fingers, seemed to be better than a sponge. Dried quickly. Stayed on all day, didn't crease much which I was impressed with, however I still needed concealer under my eyes as I have VERY dark circles, although used less than usual. Will try again with a slightly different shade.
Outrun & Outlast
Covergirl outlast extreme wear 3 in 1 foundation i like what it advertises & that it holds up for 24 hours .Im not sure what octinoxate sunscreen is but I'm assuming it would be the only type you could manufacture into a liquid foundation. I received 805 ivory but prefer a foundation that is a bit darker on the face to give me more of a tanned look.I love that its a primer, concealer & foundation in 1 which cuts down the makeup process. It claims to be sweat proof & humidity proof am looking forward to testing that once we are able to go out dancing again. Was a bit too thick for my liking but I'm assuming that's the case because of the sunscreen ,primer & concealer I guess you can't have it all .Am looking forward to seeing how Covergirl outlast performs on the dancefloor come back to me then for my verdict.
Not Terrible, Not Great
I was really excited to try this as I'm always on the lookout for a full coverage, affordable foundation but this girl was doing too much. The bottle is great, handy dispenser. Pumping out, I quickly realised I went wayyyyy too light on my shade choice so that may have impacted the appearance. Once I started applying though, I realised how heavy it was. It was reminiscent of face paint or old school sunscreen. It definitely does as advertised, the coverage was certainly full and long lasting but the appearance was matter, almost powdery looking and very heavy - it settled quickly into my pores and was noticeable (my pores are huge to be fair). It definitely has the potential to be a great choice for some but alas, it was not my turn.
COVERGIRL full cover wear
I was pleasantly surprised. This foundation goes on so easy it lasts all day and does not feel heavy like some . I can wear it on a hot day as well as a cool day with no problem. Lasts all day . One cover is all I need but I will say that does not cover imperfections. Would need to buildup for more cover. Very happy with the result though. If you need a light makeup for every day use this is the one. I have trialled it each day and have no problems. Washes off easily. It is very easy to apply and the colour is a good match.
Covergirl Outlast lived up to what it promised.
Covergirl Outlast 3 in 1 Foundation had me interested straight away. Primer, Concealer and foundation plus.... 24 hr wear, humidity proof (great for our summers) and lightweight. SPF18 very good too. More than 3 in 1! So would it live up to the label?
The ivory colour I chose was too pale for my complexion at this time of year. Would be OK in winter though. The foundation went on very easily and I could apply as much or as little as I wanted. The dispenser allowed this. So less during the day and more at night. I thought it might become too drying throughout the day as some long lasting foundations do but not at all. Stayed lovely and fresh all day. Looked as good at the end of the day (even with the on/off, on/off mask wearing).
Our early seasonal warm weather meant I could test out the SPF18 and test the claim of lasting in humidity. Covergirl Outlast passed with flying colours. Still stayed fresh and offered good protection. Just need to choose a better shade for the sunny, warm weather.
A good foundation that offers everything in one easy to use bottle.
Full coverage and fabulous
I’m still in lockdown but that doesn’t mean I don’t love to put on some makeup to feel a sense of normalcy, and so my work colleagues don’t think I have completely let myself go on video calls.
The COVERGIRL Outlast Extreme Wear 3-in-1 Full Coverage Foundation is a great foundation if you are looking for full coverage. To start with the packaging is cute – glass bottle with a handy pump applicator.
The shade I chose was a good colour match for my skin. The foundation itself is thick and creamy, so my tip is to start with a small amount because a little does go a long way with this foundation. You can always apply more if you need it.
Although its thick it applies easily to my skin and dries super quickly. I don’t need powder or anything to set it. Once its on for a full coverage foundation it feels fairly nice on my skin. Heavier than say a bb cream, but not uncomfortable. The foundation covers all my blemishes and stays put all day long! I’m impressed with its lasting power and how it looks natural for full coverage. Its affordable too! Covergirl this is a win for me!
Long lasting cruelty free foundation
I've used the Covergirl Outlast Extreme Wear for a few days during the trial period. The colour provided was not a perfect match for me, but I made it work with blush and contour/bronzer.
I don’t usually wear a full coverage foundation in my day to day life. The formula lasted all day and never went cakey. I did re-blend under my eyes during the day, but this is usual with all foundations I wear (fine lines). I will continue to use this product along side my regular bb creams and lighter foundations. As it is a 3 in 1 multi use product, this could potentially become a concealer replacement.
This foundation wasn’t mask proof, but may have performed better with a setting powder or spray.
I like a pump bottle for foundations due to hygiene reasons and used a brush to apply. The product goes on smoothly, and the 3 in 1 formula makes it quick to apply - less products needed.
I love that Covergirl is a cruelty free brand with the leaping bunny. I will be looking into their other products once my current foundations run out.
