Clarins Double Serum

This serum comes in the coolest bottle that should be on display in every bathroom. I used it every morning and evening after cleansing my skin and prior to applying moisturising cream. The serum itself is really rich in consistency and it will depend on the type of your skin if it will suit you or not. Whilst my skin is sensitive and dry, the serum absorbed really quickly, and my skin was left smooth and soft. Unfortunately, for oily skin, it would be too oily. The scent of the serum is really flattering and floral. It gives the luxurious sensation that every woman wants to feel whilst doing their beauty procedures. I didn’t notice the disappearance of fine lines and wrinkles but since my skin was left glowing and smooth, I really couldn’t complain.

Tried out the Double Serum after hearing that this was Clarins' best selling product. Unfortunately it was too rich for my oily acne prone skin for the day, but you could use it at night and wash off any excess in the morning. I think it could be great for people with dry or more mature skin because the serum feels quite enriching. It doesn't have a runny consistency but isn't thick either. The double pump allows you to mix the two serums and then apply it to the face. It glides on and is a really easy application. I love the lovely feminine floral fragrance but is definitely not overpowering. If you have oily or acne prone skin, I'd recommend getting a sample first if if you can before purchasing the full product.

I used this serum both day and night for several weeks and noticed positive changes to my skin. My skin looked and felt smoother and more radiant. I do not have many fine lines yet but they appeared to be less obvious. I love that the serum glided on my skin like a light watery gel and absorbed instantly, hydrating and plumping my skin. There is a mild pleasant fragrance when I initially apply it but it doesn't really linger for very long. I would have preferred the formulation without it but it does add a sensory experience to using the product. The bottle this serum is housed in is also unique – you can twist the top to switch between two dispensing options that allow you to better control the amount of the serum you want to dispense, without allowing a larger quantity to be dispensed at any one time than the other. I would have preferred a twist lock function instead but can see the novelty in this feature.

I received a sample of this serum in a sachet that you fold in half and the two serums come out and you mix them together before applying. Once mixed I had a smell and it smells lovely and sweet like flowers but it's a very faint scent. I found the serum very easy to spread all over my face and as I began to massage it into my skin it absorbed almost instantly leaving behind no residue. My hands felt oily from applying this but my face wasn't oily at all. A few hours later when I felt my skin it felt very very smooth and soft. It also looks luminous in the mirror. After like the sample I received this is a serum I will purchase in the future. It's very nice and suits my combination skin nicely.

This is a gorgeous serum that really is worth paying the money for, yes, it is expensive but you are getting what you pay for. The serum is easy to use, it has two components that mix together with one easy pump that is hygienic and when applied the serum sinks straight in with no greasy feeling. It is light and comfortable to wear, no stickiness and it leaves my skin feeling super soft and smooth and looking quite radiant. It contains loads of goodies including turmeric for anti ageing and for antioxidants to protect skin. I use this twice a day under my normal moisturiser for glowing Dewey skin. It won’t irritate sensitive skin and us wort every cent. I highly recommend this product

This serum is an absolute favourite of mine, a luxurious and nourishing fluid with a slightly thick texture that blends in beautifully, preparing your skin for the next step in your routine. It absorbs without any tackiness so moisturiser or night cream apply so easily on top. As the name implies, it is a serum within a serum as the handy pump mixes the two separate formulas together, with one easy squeeze. This is the hygienic approach I prefer, as there is no need to put fingers into any pots. A slight tap to complete mixing of the two serums in the palm of my hand and I'm good to go. My skin feels plump and soft afterwards and I do like the botanical scent of Clarins products. I don't expect miracles from but if my skin has a smooth appearance and looks and feels good, then I am happy. There is a price for this luxury obviously, which is the only drawback, but when I get results that are more than "just ok" it is worth it. A bottle lasts quite a long time and my tip? Buy when a Gift with Purchase is on offer, which is quite often, for a chance to explore other lovely Clarins products.

This is a unique two-in-one serum with separate water-based and oil-based components that mixed together when the dispensed from the pump. It comes in a beautiful bottle and the contents are golden bronze. It contains 21 plant extracts including turmeric, and other goodies like Vit E, oat kernel extract, squalane and glycerin. It's more of an antioxidant serum rather than anti-aging. Application wise, the combined serum is smooth and silky, not greasy and sinks in really nicely. The natural botanical scent makes it a pleasure to apply. It can be applied twice a day, day and night. You are unlikely to see any change in appearance but antioxidant serums are generally more preventative in nature. It is a bit expensive for a serum but you would be paying for the luxurious feel of the product.

I received a 7 day sample of the Clarins Double Serum. I was absolute blown away by the big box I received to reveal an absolutely beautiful box with red ribbon with Clarins printed on it. I folded the sample labelled Day 1 and mixed both serums together applied to my freshly cleansed skin and my skin absorbed it up without feeling too greasy or oily. it smells really beautiful and fresh and not overpowering whatsoever. A couple of hours later my skin feels soft, comforted and hydrated. I have combination skin and this is the first anti ageing one that didn’t make me break out usually that would happen after one use. Just make sure you mix both serums into each other as it comes out separately.
