Clairol Professional Colour Studio Step 3 Revitalise Colour Protect Conditioner

I did NOT like the scent of this condition,er, it reminded me of all the little conditioner bottles that come with box colours!! =D While I am sure it does a good job of sealing in the colour of dyed hair, I had an issue with it just not being the right kind of conditioner for my hair. With curls, they have a very specific need, and something that smooths and shines generally results in limp, flat curls that don't plump. That is no fault of this product and if I was still straightening I think it would be a fantastic option. So, only dropping off one star because it's not the product for me. I will probably continue to use it right after applying a fresh colour but may have to re-condition with my usual product just so that my hair behaves!!

I used this conditioner alongside the shampoo after dying my hair with the hair dye from the same range. This conditioner was alright for hydrating and softening my hair but I didn’t find it to be anything special. The conditioner feels rich and creamy and didn’t weigh my hair down. The scent is a little underwhelming but that could be a perk for someone who is sensitive to fragrances (I prefer something with a stronger scent). I’m keen to see how well this assists with holding my colour over the long term.

I received this conditioner from beauty crew to review. I received it with the matching hair colour and shampoo. This is easy to use. Tthe instructions are so clear and very easy to understand. It has a nice pleasent scent, that is not harsh or over powering. I have only been using for about a week after dying my hair but the colour is still shiny and vibrant abd seems to be like having my hair coloured each day. My hair is feeling soft and knot free after each use. It has a creamy texture and a little goes a long way. My hair is shoulder length and about a 10 cent peice amount does the entire lenght of my hair.

The perfect accompaniment to the matching colour protection shampoo and primer, and a must after the colouring system! This superb shampoo not only seals and locks in moisture, it leaves your hair feeling and smelly amazing! My hair has never felt so health after colouring and I have been amazed at how long my hair colour has lasted after using the shampoo and conditioner together! As my hair is extremely dark, i tend to find my hair fades very fast and I can tell with the colour being as dark as it is, this shampoo/conditioner system has retained my colour and I look as though I have only coloured my hair yesterday! I would definitely recommend this product to anyone with confidence!

Rating my experience with Clairol Professional colour studio Step 3 Revitalise Colour protect conditioner. This is not just an ordinary Conditioner. When i have used this for almost x5 on my washes. Firstly, it feels so velvety smooth when applied . I have let it stayed for a good 4 minutes to be absorbed , then i run through my conditioner comb it’s a bit finer than the one i use on shampooing. The smell is divine and relaxing. I use Fino every 3 washes and I think I will use this now in every wash because it’s more affordable and easier product availability. After i have dried my hair. It felt so soft ,healthy looking and truly “Revitalised”. I will definitely use this product and test it till the bottle finishes

I used the Clairol Professional Colour Studio Step 3 Revitalise Colour Protect Conditioner as part of a full regime included pre-colour primer, permenant colour cream, and shampoo. As a collective, I loved the results of my home hair colour. Still am loving it! The conditioner was a particular stand-out. It was not too heavy for my hair, which is on the finer side. My hair isn't dry, but I do use a lot of conditioner, which sometimes can be a bit heavy. This product was great - I got the hydration I wanted without weighing down my hair and sacrificing volume. My hair was noticeably more easy to brush and style, even when left to air dry. Absolutely would use again, even as a stand alone.

This conditioner is my new favourite! I used it after colouring my hair with a clairol blonde dye and washing my hair with its matching shampoo. The dye and the shampoo left my hair in need of some moisture - they were both really nice to use but the conditioner really bought my hair to life. I could tell the moment I started putting it through my hair it was a good conditioner. I’ve tried a lot of them! This is thick and as soon as it touches the hair you can almost feel your hair untangling itself. I let it sit there for a couple of minutes and as I began to rinse it out my hair felt like silk. After drying and styling my hair like normal I could really see the improvement of my hair. I had less fly aways and my ends looked a lot healthier.

I have been using this conditioner for a week and I am a little on the fence about it. Where the matching shampoo is brilliant, I feel like the conditioner is maybe a little thinner than I usually like, and doesn't feel quite as moisturising as my usual one. However, in saying that, it does rinse out easily and doesn't leave my hair greasy at all. It has a light clean scent and the bottle is easy to squeeze the product from. Quite a nice conditioner, but if you are looking for a thick, moisturising cream you may need to look elsewhere.

As I regularly colour my hair at home, I also use shampoo and conditioners that are designed for coloured hair. I was very impressed with this Clairol Professional Colour Studio Step 3 Revitalise Colour Protect Conditioner. When paired with the shampoo in the same range, my hair was left healthy, smooth, soft and shiny, and my the hair colour was also looking vibrant for weeks! The fragrance left my hair smelling beautiful and it had a great consistency; nice and thick and creamy. I would highly recommend this conditioner to anyone who colours their hair!

Thankyou Clairol and BeautyCrew for sending me the Clairol Colour Studio Revitalise Colour Protect Conditioner with Histidine. Histadine is an amino acid that absorbs excess copper helping to remove it from hair. It is also a humectant (moisturising agent). Over time, the water we wash our hair with leaves metal deposits behind which can affect colour, and the condition of our hair, causing it to be brittle and dry. I've been reading up on metal deposits on hair and it explains a few things and a lot of it makes sense. The conditioner is white and the scent reminds me of a hair salon. It comes in a duck egg blue 250ml plastic bottle with a press top cap which can be twisted off. The colour of the disk of the press top is white as opposed to the shampoo. To tell it apart while in the shower? My hair is curly, frizzy and dry and seemed to suck up the conditioner but I didn't feel the need to add more. The comb went through okay when I combed the conditioner through my hair and rinsed out leaving my wet hair feel smooth without that slimy feel. I've recently re-dyed my hair black and have only managed to use this conditioner three times since colouring my hair before this review was due. My grey coverage is still at 100% and my hair is looking a little healthier than usual. Normally I find colour protect products to make my hair look drier but so far I am happy with these results and can happily recommend this conditioner.

I got to test this conditioner along with the pre-colour treatment, at-home colour, and matching shampoo. As mentioned in my review for the shampoo, my hair did feel a bit dry when rinsing that out, so I was a bit worried that the conditioner wouldn't be hydrating enough, so I was pleasantly surprised to find that my haor immediately felt softer when applying the conditioner and after leaving in for 3 minutes or so and rinsing and drying, my hair definitely felt soft and smooth and, along with the colour, very shiny. I'd still use a hydrating mask after this every other wash just to help battle my frizz that is resistant to almost every product, but, I'll definitely use this, along with the shampoo, every couple of washes to help maintain my colour.

I'm always keen to find a good conditioner that is easy to use and spreads easily and you don't have to use alot of product so you don't waste the whole bottle in a few uses, the texture is smooth and it's a great size bottle easy to remove with a click lid and don't need to over use, it coats your hair and makes it feel so smooth and clean, I left it in for 10 or so minutes conditioning while I showered and then washed it out and my hair felt great and was shiny and manageable to finalise the use of the products, the price is also good on all of these products so I may be purchasing them in the future.

The wording is clear and concise which is another plus. The product itself is really lovely and hydrating and nourishing, it doesn’t weigh down my hair at all, it keeps it lovely and smooth afterwards as well as keeping my frizzy bits at bay. It also helped to extend and protect my colour. It has a nice mild and gentle texture and distributed well and evenly throughout my hair. This is a great colour protect conditioner to have on hand. I would definitely consider purchasing this and would also recommend.
