Cetaphil Optimal Hydration Skin Replenishing Water Gel

The Cetaphil Optimal Hydration Skin Replenishing Water Gel was used in a 2-step skin care routine morning and night. Following the Cetaphil Hydrating Foaming Cream Cleanser, I used the Gel to lock in moisture and hydration into my skin. I found thatwhilst using these products my skin stayed hydrated and replenished throughout the day and overnight without the need for additional face oils or serums. Perfect for all skin types, especially sensitive skin! I have highly sensitive skin and found this product to be great and no allergies present! Will highly recommend to others!

Cetaphil Optimal Hydration Water Gel is very hydrating and gentle on skin. I used it with the Cetaphil Hydrating Foaming Cream Cleanser as a quick routine as well as let off a more extensive regimen and found it worked well with my skin. It’s light and absorbs quite well, although there can be a little tackiness left when it’s used on its own. I found the best result was when I used face oil first or mixed a little in to the gel, especially at night when I prefer a heavier moisturiser. I’d say I would always be using Cetaphil Optimal Hydration Water Gel with other products as it isn’t heavy enough for a night cream and doesn’t have any SPF for daytime, that being said I do really like that it is quite lightweight and gentle on the skin

I received this product through the trial team. I somewhat enjoyed the Cetaphil Optimal Hydration Skin Replenishing Water Gel and found that combined with the Cetaphil Hydrating Foaming Cream Cleanser and an oil cleanser, it somewhat moisturised my skin. When combined with the cleanser it worked okay to keep my skin hydrated. I used this product twice a day but did not enjoy the unhygienic packaging. Overall I would not purchase this product again. Thank you for sending me this gel as part of the Trial Team. I may continue to use this in my routine but it's definitely not mindblowing, and found it somewhat moisturised my Retinoid sensitised skin.

This gel is so gentle on my sensitive skin, it is very soothing and hydrating it's a light gel texture that sinks in quickly and is non greasy, it does not Sting around my eyes where I'm most sensitiv. My skin can be quite reactive when I use too many actives on it and I find this is a wonderful way to calm my skin while softening, hydrating it and soothing it. It's also extremely soothing on my skin when I'm having problems with dryness and once again find it sooths and calms the area and makes my skin feel soft and quite hydrated and definitely less reactive. I definitely will be using this product again when I run out and I highly recommend it to just about any skin type, it's been a pleasure to use and I will continue to use it. The price point is amazing as well, such a wonderful product for a very affordable price is wonderful in today's climate.

The perfect lightweight daytime moisturiser! I found that my skin was more hydrated and softer once using this product. The lightweight formula makes it ideal for daytime use especially during warmer days and sits beautifully under makeup There is no scent upon opening and does not cause any irritation This product did not cause any congestion when using and my skin felt like it could breathe Only need to use a small amount too when applying I will continue using this product and would definitely purchase again

Thank you very much to Beautycrew and Cetaphil for the opportunity to trial and review the Cetaphil Optimal Hydration Skin Replenishing Water Gel I am a huge fan of almost any water gel, and this Cetaphil gel offers great value for money. The water gel has a thicker, more luxurious consistency (so more of a gel cream than water gel). It combines hyaluronic acid with PGA, both are excellent water binders to help water retention. Therefore, I have always used this gel on top of my toner and hydration serum. This water gel is effective in sealing moisture and provide extra water-binding properties. It is also fragrance free. In terms of texture, it is lovely but I prefer a slightly lighter texture for day use. This cream makes an excellent night cream for dehydrated skin.

I trialled the Cetaphil Optimal Hydration Skin Replenishing Water Gel as part of the Beauty Crew. I found this water gel really lovely to use, it felt nice on my skin, and left me feeling hydrated. It didn’t pill under makeup, and felt sufficiently hydrating enough to use at night. When using it at night after a retinol product, it was moisturising enough that there was no flaking/peeling. I am 36 with normal skin, but feel like this water gel would suit all skin types and all ages. Despite trying it for free, I would purchase this when it is on sale at the supermarket. 8/10 would recommend!

Very light but very moisturising. I have dry skin and didn't think it would be enough, but it was very hydrating and made my skin feel so calm and soft. My skin looked a lot firmer and didnt dry out during the day. The texture being a gel is a bit watery but it absorbs really quickly. Pairs really nicely with the Cetaphil Hydrating Foaming Cream Cleanser. Highly reccomended for dry and sensitive skin. No fragrance and sits nicely under makeup. Only thing I would change is have it in a tube. Because it is so runny its a bit messy with the tub.

Cetaphil Optimal Hydration Skin Replenishing Water Gel is my new go-to moisturiser. The gel applies well, absorbs easily, isn't sticky and does not have unpleasant perfumes. As someone with sensitive skin, I was surprised with how easily my dry areas cleared up and how my skin felt after using it. Great to prepare the face and go under make up in the morning but equally as good to pop on before bed after using Cetaphil Hydrating Foaming Cream Cleanser to clean off the days grime. Would definitely recommend!

I received this water gel moisturizer complimentary in exchange for my honest review. First of all, this is unscented product. You don't have to worry about any kind of unpleasant or overpowering smells with this for those of you who are sensitive to strong fragrances. The texture of this moisturizer is really lovely-- it's quite light and feels cool to the touch going on. It is also smooth and very fast absorbing. It did not leave me feeling greasy at all after applying, which is great because in the heat and humidity of the Brisbane summertime weather. Therefore, I have to say that I think this would be a perfect choice for others who have combination/oily skin because it is not a heavy moisturizer and it just soaks right in without leaving any yucky residue behind. Plus, it contains skin-loving ingredients such as hyaluronic acid and polyglutamic acid! In fact, I think that anyone with any skin type could benefit from this moisturizer. To sum it up, it is light, gentle, soothing, absorbent, and of course, hydrating!

Cetaphil Optimal Hydration skin replenishing water gel has very quickly become one of my main nightly routines, whilst it has an interesting texture and sensation on the skin initially and leaves it feeling sticky almost like a face wash that needs to be removed (and I did read the instructions 4 times to make sure it wasn't haha) the next morning my skin felt amazing! It was soft and felt firmer. Uneven textures soon began to appear less visible after a week of using. Due to its texture I do only use it at night time rather than both morning and night but I'm 100% sure if someone was to use it during their morning routine they would not be disappointed with its performance. I have recommend to friends and family to use it

I've been using the Cetaphil Optimal Hydration Skin Replenishing Water Gel, and it's fantastic for my dry skin. It's now a crucial part of my nightly skincare routine, keeping my skin smooth and hydrated. Though it's a bit pricey, the results make it worth the cost. I'm genuinely thrilled with how it's improved my skin, and it's a daily essential for me. I trialled this product with the Hydrating Foaming Cream Cleanser. My skin barrier has been impaired and I has experienced sensitivity and dehydration. I felt this gel was a nice lightweight alternative to heavy hydrating creams. The texture is nice and cooling and absorbed well into the skin. My skin felt nicely hydrated throughout the day and night. I would say this is a nice summer day moisturiser option but maybe would prefer something a bit more heavy at night time. My one issue with this product was the scent, something about it was a bit off putting but I did get used to it. I think for the price point it is a great product.

Cetaphil is a name I know and trust so I was pleasantly surprised when they released the Hydrating Foaming Cleanser along with the Optimal Hydration Skin Replenishing Water Gel. I have always found their products to be accessible, affordable, easy to locate in supermarkets, pharmacies and discount chemists and reliable. The gel moisturiser is clear in colour, fragrance-free, light and cool to the touch, and keeps the skin feeling quenched, hydrated and moisturised all day long. It leaves no sticky or tacky residue. I would definitely purchase this again.

Cetaphil's Optimal Hydration Skin Replenishing Water Gel is surprisingly divine, as someone who tends to gravitate towards heavier creams the gel consistency is actually a welcomed change to my skincare routine. This gel is designed to provide lightweight hydration, and delivers on it’s promise, I’d say as far as making it suitable for various skin types, including those with oily or combination skin. I appreciated its non-greasy feel and quick absorption, which helped keep my skin feeling fresh and moisturized throughout the day. Like many Cetaphil products & what I love most about them, it's free of fragrances and suitable for sensitive skin!!!.

I have recently added this moisturiser to my routine. Its has very light gel like texture that absorbs nicely into the skin. I love this one for summer season as it feels really light on skin but keep my skin hydrated through out the day. It sits well under the makeup as well. I love how it makes my skin looks very healthy and plump. Great addition for my dry sensitive skin. The packaging is nice ans sleek. I would prefer this moisturiser in my morning skincare as for night time i prefer a thick moisturiser for my dry skin. I would definitely recommend this moisturiser to keep your skin moisturiser and nourished.

I’m really loving gel moisturiser at the moment as my skin tends to get dry and oily during the warmer weather and especially with Melbournes weather, it’s multiple seasons in one. I’m very excited to try Cetaphil Optimal Hydration Skin Replenishing Water Gel. The gel moisture offers a long lasting 72 hours of hydration whilst packed with Hyaluronic Acid and Polyglutamic Acid to deliver that immediate hydration. It’s super cooling and light weight on my skin, I could really feel my skin taking a big drink from it. My skin felt supple, bouncy and full of hydration after wearing it all day. I use this morning and night to really get my skin feeling soft, smooth and hydrated. I’ve noticed a dramatic type in the texture of my skin over the last 3 weeks, I don’t have dry patches nor oily down my t zone anymore. This gel moisture is amazing and I’m truly happy with my results.

So lightweight, so absorbent and so gentle. The optimal hydration skin replenishing water gel, instantly moisturises my skin and leaves it feeling refreshed and soft. I have been using this moisturiser for two weeks after the Cetaphil hydrating, foaming cleanser in the morning and at night. I have noticed that my sensitive skin absorbs this moisturiser with no qualms and it does not leave a rash or any irritation like many other moisturises. Further, make up is applied seamlessly after applying this moisturiser. I will definitely continue to use and re-purchase and would recommend for anyone sensitive and dry skin in need of a thirst quench.

I have dehydrated combo skin so I found this water gel not hydrating enough for me. However, I did use this on top of my everyday moisturizer and it definitely helped to boost the hydration. The texture is a lightweight gel, very refreshing and absorbed within seconds. It leaves a weightless semi dewy finish. There is no fragrance or essential oils, making it a great option for sensitive skin types. My skin was more on the sensitive side when I tested out this water gel and no once did it leave my skin feeling irritated or red. I can imagine this water gel to work a lot better for those with oily skin types.

I was lucky enough to be selected to trial the Cetaphil hrydrating gel cream. I absolutely love the cleanser from the same range so I had high hopes for the cream. As someone who is sensitive to some smells I love that this product has no fragrance. My favourite thing about this product is how the gel cream feels when I apply it to the skin.It's light and cooling and feels amazing. However after application I found it left a tacky residue for some time. I found this gel to not be as hydrating and some gels/creams I have tried. I feel it would suit skin types that aren't overly dry such as myself.
