Cetaphil Optimal Hydration Healthy Glow Daily Cream

My skin has been particularly dry the last few months in some instances over my nose, this was the first time using Cetaphil skincare and I won’t look back in regards to comfort and hydration. White in colour, med-thick consistency my skin absorbs it beautifully without any shine or breakouts in what I usually would get with a thicker cream having combination skin. My skin has been consistently more hydrated and well moisturised using this and now that we have entered the cooler months I will see how my skin responds to it in conjunction with the serum. Affordable, has been great for daily use so I am recommending this cream to all of my family and friends.

I really wanted to love this. I have sensitive skin, and sometimes I use a product and think 'this is irritating my skin'. But when I used this I realised THIS is really irritation. As soon as I applied it, I felt some tightness, followed by burning, irritation, and unsightly redness, peeling & rash (not itchy). With heaps of positive reviews, enticing ingredients like hyaluronic acid & niacinamide, no obvious scent & it seemingly being marketed towards sensitive skin, I thought it would be good, but if you are sensitive, beware. Now, back to my hunt for a moisturiser that actually helps my sensitive, dry skin........

The Cetaphil® Optimal Hydration Healthy Glow Daily Cream has been a lifesaver during this winter. The cold has left my normally oily skin incredibly dry with dry patches and my skin peeling around my mouth and nose. Within 2 days of trying this cream, my dry patches and peeling skin were completely gone and my skin felt soft and hydrated again. The cream is suitable for sensitive skin amd doesn't leave your skin feeling irritated. As a bonus for any oily skin people, it doesn't clog your pores or cause breakouts.

This cream is thick and luxurious and works. Great value for money and it’s perfect for sensitive skin as it causes no irritation. Using this daily has made my skin plumper, it glows and is really hydrated. It never feels greasy or goes oily throughout the day and it’s light, silky and comfortable to wear. Okay, I’m a happy girl! I have the hardest time finding moisturisers that are nourishing without weighing my skin down and causing greasiness and congested skin. This stuff has done the job! It leaves my skin feeling smooth and hydrated until the next time I wash my face and it doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin. The barrier that it left on my skin allowed my skin to heal nicely and has left me with a lovely glow after only a few days. This one keeps going missing as it is so good that the rest of the house keep stealing it!

Love this cream! It is so light but still has a really creamy texture. I tend to get breakouts and clogged skin with heavy, thick creams but this was really gentle. The cream is quickly absorbed and leaves my skin feeling smooth all day, without a greasy shine. The Optimal Hydration Health Glow Daily Cream did not aggravate my sensitive skin, in fact, I find it to be quite soothing. I got this cream to trial but would definitely buy this. I find a little goes a long way and it really complements the other Cetaphil Hydration products. The pot will last me a while as you only need a small amount of this cream, therefore it seems like it would be great value for money.’

I have been using this cetaphil optimal hydration healthy glow daily cream for almost 2 weeks now. I have dry skin and i must say i am very impressed. It absorbs quickly into the skin and my face feels soft and supple after applying it. It has no fragrance at all. It is rich and very hydrating. I use it twice a day and my skin is looking great already. What i also really like is it does not contain any nasties. I am going to recommend this cream to all my friends and family. Love cetaphil brand a lot!

‘Cetaphil Deep Hydration Healthy Glow Daily Cream is absolutely amazing. The cream is extremely moisturizing. I noticed a difference in the texture & appearance of my skin after a few days, which continues to improve the longer I use it. I can wear it under makeup and it doesn’t create any weird textures or get oily as the day goes on. Cetaphil was really effective and gentle on the skin that didn't clog pores or irritate the skin. It has a gorgeous light and fresh powdery fragrance that i really love. It's hard to find a good moisturizer that's hydrating but not too heavy or greasy. ‘my Skin is combination, oily t zone with patches of dry skin due to dry patches and redness. i am very sensitive to scent and chemical smells This day cream was scent free which was much appreciated. one thing i can not stand is chemical smell on your face products! i enjoyed the feel of the cream on my skin, it works well with the serum to give a soft silky feel to my skin. i did struggle with feeling a bit sweaty with this cream. i used this every second day really as i can get oily skin and need a rest in between wears. i also ended up only using it on the dry patches so i did not feel to warm/sweaty ( i can overheat easily). Packaging i prefer not to have creams in tubs personally as they can dry out and get a bit grubby over time. the lid needs a tight turn to click it closed when you screw the lid back on. at the start i thought the lid was faulty and need up tightly putting it on in frustration that it felt not quite closed. it sort of has a second twist to the closure? for that reason i would not buy it in this packaging.’

‘Loved this product! Definitely will consider buying again if it was on special - used this day and night and found it extremely moisturising. I have extremely sensitive skin especially during Winter and my skin felt moisturised within a few days of use. Also used it on my partner who is working outdoors everyday in the wind and sun and he told me his skin felt better the next day. I mixed it in with skin tint which has 50plus SPF and that worked fine. Was very hydrating and absorbed well. Did not leave a greasy feeling as many moisturisers do for very dry skin. Thank you BeautyCrew for the opportunity to trial this range. I would love it to come in larger size although I love the jar that it comes in - very easy to use and lid closes securely.’

I have very dry skin. I love the thickness of this cream which at first I thought might be too much for the day time but nope sank right in. I can’t comment on its use with make up has I haven’t worn any with it. I gave it 4 stars as I feel while it is quite hydrating it might not be enough for me but like I said I’m very dry. No strong scent and as a bonus the tub was really filled so good value. Has been good to my sensitive skin not much issue as yet. I love the idea of a daily face cream having the hyaluronic acid all ready in it saves you having to apply it separately. Might try this more in the summer at night because at the moment as it’s in the colder weather I might need at bit more moisture for a stand along product.

I was pleasantly surprised with Cetaphil as a brand overall. Previously I had used it on my nanas 80yr old skin as per recommended by a skin specialist & so I sort of associated it with skin elasticity from that experience. I previously use estee lauder & nivea & have always stayed with brands that I knew. The optima hydration was beautiful and creamy with a great texture & overall smooth feel. Wasnt left oily or shiny it felt although it was absorbed quite well on my skin. Lovely product Im a fan for life. The scent was plain like cetaphil is, I would like it if they added some aromatherapy scents or oils to the products as I feel that would improve it a great deal. The container was lovely & handy sat neat at the end of my bed. I like the branding & colour it matched well on my makeup stand. Perfectly happy with the product in every way!

I have previously seen the cetaphil range at the chemist but I actually always thought it was only for people with dermatitis so I'm assuming they've maybe extended their line which is a great idea to be honest .I would have never picked it up usually but the cost point is very good and I guess I'm stuck in my usually face products. But I would 100% recommend this product the cream is thick and luxurious but not too heavy on the skin a lot goes along way. 100% a winter essential but if you live in a cold area most of the year all year round

Me? I'm happy to wait a little longer for something that really works. Cetaphil Optimal Hydration Healthy Glow Daily Cream plumped my skin with moisture and hydration. I applied it to damp skin morning and night after washing my face and noticed that instantly, my skin felt refreshed and looked radiant and most importantly it felt nourished and comfortable. After one week, my sensitive skin looked smoother and more even toned. I'm really glad I found this cream because it's made such a difference in my life!

Absolutely loved it! Very gentle on the skin yet extremely moisturising. A little bit of product went a long way and left my skin feeling hydrated and soft. The formula is non-greasy and didn't cause my skin to become oily by the end of the day. I have very sensitive skin and had no issues using this product. There is no fragrence which is great. I was using high end products costing $150+ per month and my skin has never looked better since using cetaphil. Only issue I have with this is the lid doesn't stay shut sometimes.

Cetaphil Optimal Hydration Healthy Glow Daily Cream was such a lovely product for every day use. The texture is light and a dream to apply. Also works well under makeup. No scent which is a bonus for me! I applied it every morning and night for two weeks straight and the results were definitely noticeable! My skin felt much more hydrated, plump, and smoother. Looks wise, I had a natural glow and my overall skin appearance was a lot smoother. I have combination skin, with the typical oily t-zone and drier cheeks that are always quite red and this moisturiser calmed my redness and kept my oils at bay while keeping my face hydrated throughout the day and night! Would definitely repurchase.

This is the of the best products for those who have very dry and flaky skin like me. This products is easily absorbed and feels so nice to touch. Smells good but not the smell that gives off a perfumey scent that is irritating. This just feels luxe. This also works well with the products on the same range. They boost each other. Will definitely repurchase after i finished this bottle. A bit pricey but is worth it specially that winter is here and i will need all the moisture that i can get. Will recommend this to others who wants to have soft and supple skin.

I found the optimal hydration healthy glow daily cream product really nourishing and moisturizing. I have super dry and sensitive skin that also finds that super rich or thick creams tend to block my pores. This cream had all the positives without being too thick or heavy on my skin. It has a lovely light and creamy texture that glides onto the skin nice and smoothly, and you really do only need a small amount. This cream has a pleasant fragrance without being too heavy or over welming. I noticed a difference in my skin almost immediately. My skin felt moisturized all day without feeling damp or sticky. It certainly lives up to its name when it says a healthy glow. The optimal hydration healthy glow daily cream was a great base for my makeup also. It acted as a smoother and kept my skin from drying out underneath foundation. I will continue to use this as a daily cream and would recommend to other dry ladies out there looking for an affordable yet light and moisturizing daily.

Cetaphil® Optimal Hydration Healthy Glow Daily Cream is a lovely lightweight daily face cream which was was easily absorbed by my skin and did not cause any irritation or redness. After a few days I really noticed a difference in the condition and texture of my skin. It felt fresh and hydrated, with none of the usual red, dry patchy areas typical of my combination skin. Makeup application was enhanced too, my foundation now seems to glide on over my skin and look less obvious and still looked great hours later. I'm looking forward to continuing to use this product to see longer term results.
