Fine not great

I don’t think this product is worth the price point. It got quite a bit of oil off what appeared to be freshly cleaned skin, but it didn’t leave the nicest texture behind, as you’re not meant to rinse, and stung my eyes. It was easy to get out of the bottle without wastage though which I appreciated and the bottle and cap were nice and solid and look good on a bathroom shelf. There wasn’t really a scent which I appreciated. Definitely a true water-y texture, not oily like some in this category.

Refreshing - Skin felt soft & subtle

Pros: Dermatologist tested, deep cleansing, lasting hydration, pleasant (and minimal) scent, refreshing feel, includes Pro-Vitamin B5 and Edelweiss extract. My skin felt clean, soft, refreshed and hydrated after using. Cons: The bottle is made from a hard plastic which is difficult to squeeze to get the liquid out onto a cotton pad. I needed to pour the bottle upside down and wait for the product to slowly come out and saturate the pad. I would have preferred a softer plastic I could squeeze the product out, like other similar products. Conclusion: Would 100% incorporate into my everyday skincare regime! Very happy with the feel & results. Would have preferred a bottle design that allowed the product to be squeezed out faster.

Impressed and refreshed

After using consistently for a several weeks, I found Cetaphil Healthy Renew Micellar Cleansing Water very effective in cleansing deeply without leaving my skin dry. My skin has felt firmer and more radiant. It was able to remove my daily makeup and sunscreens with ease. It feels light and perfect for my sensitive skin. Even on days when I hadn't used any make up or sunscreen and thought my skin was rather clean, the micellar cleansing water showed me how wrong I was. I enjoy using this product as my skin feels hydrated and refreshed each time afterwards.

Good cleansing water, would prefer it be a toner

I love this cleansing water as a first step to my routine. It threw me off at first when it tells you not to wash it off, as it was a cleansing water it seemed wrong? I would think it would be better to use it as a toner. But seeing as how I needed to review it as per its intended purpose I used it to remove light makeup and/or cleanse my face at the beginning of my skincare routine. I’d say it performs well in cleansing the makeup off (though I really only use light makeup, concealer and blush that’s about it mostly), I cannot attest to how well it would perform in removing heavy makeup. There is the slightest residue left behind but it’s not uncomfortable by any means. I have noticed an improvement in my skin texture since I’ve started using this, my skin feels smoother and slightly brighter. It also feels very hydrating and as my skin is sensitive it doesn’t agitate it at all, my skin feels has also felt plumper when I use it. Overall, this cleansing water performed well and does what it claims to do. I, however, took off one star for the confusing name and would have preferred to either wash it off as its a cleansing water, or use it in the toning step of my routine - after cleansing, swipe over my face using a makeup pad for hydration. I feel like trying to be in-between, I don’t feel like my skin is fully clean from makeup and debris from the day.

Impressed

I’m very impressed with how well it works for my sensitive skin. It’s incredibly gentle, which is my priority, but it’s also effective. At the end of the day, it easily removes all traces of my SPF and makeup without needing to scrub or rinse, which again is perfect for my skin type. I love the clean skin feeling after using it each night. There is no dryness or irritation and most importantly no sticky residue. I would highly recommend this product if you’re looking for a gentle but effective cleansing solution for sensitive skin.

Perfect for washing the day away

Cetaphil never disappoints! I have been using the Cetaphil Healthy Renew Micellar Cleansing Water every night for the past few weeks to remove my face of make up. It easily applies with cotton wool and glides make up off with little effort. I usually steer away from micellar water as it tends to be a little drying for my (already very dry) skin, but this product left my skin feeling rejuvenated and moisturised. Given my skin is also sensitive, i love that this micellar water does not have any fragrance. I would highly recommend for anyone with dry and or sensitive skin!

Great!

This micellar water was great to test out as a part of the Review Crew. You get a decent amount of product for the price. The formula is lightweight and refreshing on the skin. It is nice for sensitive skin and doesn’t break me out. I do think it is a bit too lightweight so you may need to double cleanse as it doesn’t take off mascara too well. Otherwise, there was little to no fragrance and it didn’t dry out my skin. I was quite happy with this product and will definitely keep using and repurchase.

Beautiful hydrating cleansing

This cleansing water is stunning, it doesw exactly what it says it will do. it perfectly removes all dirt and grime from your skin and leaves it feeling beautifully cleansed and so juicy, smooth and hydrated. The branding and packaging is great and the brand is very trustworthy. The large size packaging is fantastic and you only need a small amount of the product to be effective. Works so well with the other products in this range, such as the serum and the face and eye cream. I will definitely be repurchasing this product to use ongoing in my skincare routine.

Excellent Micellar Cleanser

I've never rated micellar water. I prefer cleansing oils... so I went in with low expectations. Cetaphil Healthy Renew Micellar Cleansing Water is really good—it’s become my go-to for a quick, refreshing cleanse before going in with my regular gentle cleanser. It’s super gentle, so no stinging or dryness, but it still removes makeup (even mascara and brow gel) and leaves my skin feeling fresh, not tight. I love that it’s fragrance-free and works on sensitive skin without any issues. Plus, it doesn’t leave that weird residue some micellar waters do. It’s perfect for lazy days when I just want to swipe and go or as the first step in a double cleanse. Honestly, can’t think of a single downside—5 stars!

Refreshing and gentle

I was fortunate enough to trial Cetaphil’s new Healthy Renew Micellar Cleansing Water for the last few weeks. Being titled a ‘renewing’ product I was initially concerned how my skin would react as I currently use tretinoin. I was pleasantly surprised how gentle it is on my skin. The scent is fresh and pleasant. Upon using, it felt soft, supple yet hydrated, which I’ve found is hard to come by in a Micellar water. This is a product I would definitely consider purchasing in the future and would be beneficial for all skin types.

Great product to use everyday

Cetaphil Healthy Renew Micellar Cleansing Water is an excellent addition to any skincare routine. This gentle formula effortlessly removes makeup and impurities, leaving my skin feeling refreshed and clean without any residue. I love how it hydrates my skin, making it feel soft and nourished after use. It’s perfect for sensitive skin, as it doesn’t cause irritation or dryness. The convenient pump makes application a breeze, and I appreciate that it doesn’t require rinsing. Overall, it’s a reliable, effective cleansing option that I would highly recommend for anyone looking to simplify their skincare routine while still caring for their skin.

Hydrating micellar water!

Since I have sensitive and combination skin, I was really looking forward to trying this Micellar Water. Finding something that actually cleans my skin without leaving it tight or irritated is always a challenge, but this one definitely impressed me! My skin felt so much cleaner and softer compared to other micellar waters I’ve used. Most of my makeup came off super easily, though I did have to go over my mascara and waterproof eyeliner a couple of times—but that’s honestly not a big deal to me. What’s also great is how well it works with the rest of the Healthy Renew range! My skin feels fresh, balanced, and hydrated after using them together, which is a rare win for my skin type.

Best micellar cleansing water ever tried.

Now after trialling the cetaphil skin renew facial products, this has to be my favourite of them all. I was shocked after wiping on my face with a cotton round and seeing how dirty it was blew me away. No other cleanser has ever given me any results like the cetaphil renew micellar cleansing water. I will definitely be using this from now on. If you have mature, sensitive and dry skin or not, then you definitely have to try this one. Takes off make up with ease. Even waterproof mascara. I know, amazing right! Definitely give it a try.

Just OK

Cetaphil’s Healthy Renew Micellar Cleansing Water is a decent option for those looking for a gentle, no-rinse cleanser. It effectively removes light makeup, dirt, and excess oil without leaving the skin feeling stripped or dry. The product is also fragrance-free and suitable for sensitive skin, which is a plus for those prone to irritation. However, it may not be powerful enough for heavy or waterproof makeup, it leaves a slightly sticky residue if not wiped off thoroughly. While the inclusion of ingredients like niacinamide and antioxidants is promising, the effects on skin renewal are subtle and may take consistent use to notice.Overall, it’s a good choice for daily use, especially for people with dry or sensitive skin, but those with heavier cleansing needs might find it lacking.

Amazing, refreshed skin!

It was my first time using Cetaphil Healthy Renew Micellar Cleansing Water and can definitely say it won't be my last. I used a small amount on a face cleaning pad and managed to remove all of my makeup with ease with only a small amount of product. My skin felt super refreshed and hydrated well into the next day. Perfect for any sensitive skin as this product is alcohol and fragrance free which I look for in my products. The bottle design is also great and very easy to use. Will definitely continue to use this twice a day.

Love it

I found that after using this product for a couple of weeks that my skin did look more hydrated and firm. This product worked well at removing dirt and clearing my pores out. Didn’t have an empowering smell which is great too as sometimes with skincare this is a big deal breaker for me. This skin product range also didn’t affect my sensitive skin which was amazing cause I struggle with my sensitive skin and finding products that work without hurting me. I definitely recommend this product to friends and family.

Does not sting eyes

Thank you very much to Beauty Crew and Cetaphil for letting me trial and review the new Cetaphil Healthy Renew Micellar Cleansing Water. The rest of the Cetaphil Healthy Renew line of products feature 'purified peptides' as a key ingredient - except for the micellar cleansing water. However, the micellar cleansing water contains a good amount of panthenol and niacinamide (both are vitamin B), and I found that to be a more 'basic' product than the rest of the Healthy Renew line. It is fragrance-free, align with the Cetaphil image of simple products for sensitive skin; it comes in a sturdy bottle which I like, without looking too bulky on my shelf. I apply the micellar water using cotton pads. I like that it doesn't sting my eyes. I usually apply the soaked cotton pad to my eyes for 10 seconds to dissolve all the makeup before wiping. I do have to repeat a couple of times to get rid of all makeup. And I will always follow up with a second cleanse - which is what I feel is lacking in the Cetaphil Healthy Renew line - a gentle cleanser. I use my own foaming cleansing prior to using the facial serum and eye serum. While this product work as described, I prefer a cleansing oil because I feel it cleanses my skin better and it is more thorough in removing makeup - as well as less rubbing than micellar water. This micellar water is good for a quick cleanse and good for travelling.

Pretty good micellar water

Skin type: Combination, acne-prone and sensitive Climate: Dry with temperamental weather Packaging: I think the packaging looks sleek, though I wish it came with a flip top rather than a screw on lid but that is more of a personal preference. Product comes out easily, I use it with a cotton pad. I wish this came in a bigger size though, I find the price per ml a little high. Fragrance: No smell whatsoever which is great. Performance: Feels gentle on skin. I use this in the morning before I put on the rest of my skincare and/or after I use light make up. Takes make up off pretty well, no complaints. Overall thoughts: pretty solid micellar water. I liked how my skin didn't react to it and it feels good on the skin. Would definitely repurchase if on sale.

Gentle, effective, hydrating

I have been using the cetaphil healthy renew micellar cleansing water and I am really enjoying how clean and refreshed my skin feels from this micellar water. Being a makeup artist specialising in special effects makeup, October is always a favourite time of year with Halloween approaching. The cleansing micellar water has been really effective at removing even the grease based makeup products and waterproof mascara which was a nice surprise. Whilst not giving you that feeling of stripping your skin at all, my skin feels super clean and hydrated. I have tried it on both a cotton pad and a reusable cleansing cloth and either method has led to the same result of nice clean, refreshed and hydrated skin. The packaging is visually appealing, the lid is sturdy and stays on even when rolling around in my makeup bag. Highly recommend!
