I've been using CeraVe Oil Control Moisturiser for over a month now and it’s been great for my skin type (oily/combination). The lightweight formula absorbs quickly, leaving my skin dewy without feeling dry or greasy. I love that it contains a high amount of niacinamide and glycerin + it's fragrance free and non-comedogenic = doesn't clog pores which can lead to pimples. This moisturiser lasts all day and is a solid choice for anyone with oily or acne-prone skin! The only downside is that it can pill up during application which is annoying but can be brushed away easily.

Super lightweight and perfect for the warmer days! This moisturiser was light weight and felt that way on the skin. While it wasn’t heavy it did give my skin the moisture it needs and didn’t leave me feeling dry which sometimes is an issue for my combination skin with lighter weight moisturisers. It sat well under makeup and possibly helped it stay fresh for longer due to the oil control benefit. I enjoyed using this product and will use it again in future- particularly in warmer weather when my skin is more oily.

I'm not sure if this product just wasn't for me but I really wasn't satisfied with how it left my skin feeling. After using it nightly for a few days in a row I discovered that my skin was feeling extremely dry and more textured than usual. It was as if the 'oil control' aspect overcorrected my skin and I was no longer getting the benefits of it as a moisturiser. It took a lot of trial and error on how much to apply and how often to ensure my skin felt somewhat balanced. The packaging is also quite small, yes a little bit goes a long way but I feel that for a moisturiser that is so runny it should come in bigger sizing for more efficiency. The scent was also a bit of a funny one, not overpowering or artificial but just kind of musty in a sense. Overall this product is not something I would personally reach for again but may be the perfect answer for someone that has extremely oily skin.

This has been a great moisturizer! It is very light-weight and thin, but still leaves you feeling moisturized. I think it’s perfect for warmer months, and for those with oily skin. It feels breathable on the skin, yet is still very hydrating. There is no leftover residue, or white cast. It is a very subtle, essentially non-existent scent, which is great for those who are sensitive to that. I haven’t noticed any reactions with any of my other skincare products either. I really like the pump aspect of the packing, as it makes for easy, yet sanitary, dispensing of the lotion. Overall, I have always really enjoyed CeraVe products, and this is another one I can add to the list. I will continue to purchase this product, especially in the summer months.

The average Oil control moisturiser was well packaged a good size with the need for only one or two pumps to cover my skin. It was easy to apply and didn’t leave my face feeling sticky or incredibly oily which I find can make my skin worse. There was minimal scent to the moisturiser which is nice and used as part of my skin care routine in the morning and at night I noticed significant difference in the feel of my skin. The texture was lovely and light, and is nice going into Summer. No scent so doesn’t interfere with your perfume or give you a headache. Kept my skin from feeling tight all day long. My skin still got oily in my t-zone but it was not exacerbated by this moisturiser. Something in it made my skin a little redder, a slight irritation unfortunately. I like the pump to stop air & germ contamination and keep it from leaking when travelling too. I also like how it dries down quickly so makeup is easy to apply.

I have been using this for 3-4 weeks and have noticed a huge change in the texture of my skin, and overall complexion since starting to use this moisturizer. It’s light weight on the skin, as it’s a thin formula rather than thick you do not need a lot of product to cover the entire face. I have used this by its self, with other skin care products and under makeup, it performs extremely well in all situations. I have acne prone skin and suffer from dry spots on my eyes and around my nose, the moisturizer doesn’t dry these out further but instead allows them to absorb the product and stay hydrated. I really enjoyed that this product has no fragrance and doesn’t aggravate sensitive spots due to this. I have been using the CeraVe oil control moisturiser daily morning and night for four weeks now and am overall impressed! I have an oily t-zone and struggle finding a daily moisturiser that doesn’t contribute to my oily issues. I find this CeraVe moisturiser does a great job at controlling those oily areas throughout the day. However I don’t find that it is as hydrating as some other products, and found myself using a thicker night cream some days. The moisturisers formula is lightweight and is able to hydrate my face without it feeling oily and heavy after application but leaving my face with a bit of a matte finish. The CeraVe Oil Control Moisturiser is an absolute game changer for my combination skin! Its light weight formula is more than enough to provide complete hydration without being a super heavy cream. My skin tends to get very oily by the end of the day in the usual t-zone area BUT since using the CeraVe Oil Control Moisturiser over the last few weeks I have watched my oily t-zone become less and less. My skin is no longer oily and shiny at the end of the day which for me is amazing. I’m also finding my makeup is lasting longer and looks a lot nicer when I use this cream first. I love that it comes in a little pump bottle, making it very easy to apply to my skin.

This was a great moisturiser that is a handy tube to have in your skincare repertoire. I enjoyed using it, especially at night after using cleanser and toner that made my skin dry and provided the exact level of moisturisation i needed. I also really loved that it left a matte finish which I prefer. I've always appreciated a pump feature so that it's super easy to dispense the exact amount you need to use and not waste any product. I found that it glided on my skin well and it didn't feel sticky or too heavy/thick. It absorbed well and didnt make me feel all oily. It also worked well with my combination skin managing my oily forehead with the skin around my nose that tended to be dry. I took off a star because it suggests using it both morning and night. I did for the first few days but then I need to wear SPF during the day and found two layers of moisturiser was too much for my skin and felt heavy. So I later switched to using it at night after a serum and it worked very well for my needs and didn't cause me to wake up with breakouts.
