CeraVe Facial Moisturising Lotion PM

I received a sample of this Facial Moisturising Lotion from Cerave for watching one of their Live Skin Chats. There was only enough for 1 application in the sachet but I loved it because not only is it fragrance free but it made my skin feel really soft and moisturised. The lotion is white and of medium consistency. It glides onto the skin so nicely and absorbs almost instantly. It didn't leave any residue whatsoever and the next morning my skin still felt moisturised and hydrated. I love that there is zero fragrance to it too. I will definitely be purchasing a full sized product.

I am a big fan of Cerave products and have been using their cleansers and the daily moisturising lotion for a while. Most of Cerave's products can be used on the face or body, but they made two moisturisers specifically for the face, one for AM with SPF and one for PM. This is the PM one. It comes in a 52ml tube. The main difference between this PM face formula and the generic daily moisturising lotion is that it has the addition of niacinamde as the 4th ingredient in the ingredients list. It also contains 3 types of ceramides and sodium hyaluronate like the normal moisturising lotion. Texture-wise, I find it a bit lighter and absorbs quicker. On the days where my skin felt a bit irritated, this was soothing and comfortable. Even though it is light, my skin still feels hydrated overnight and there is no dryness in the morning. For reference, I have combination skin that's currently a bit dehydrated. There is nothing wrong with this product and it is safe for everyone, including those with sensitive or irritated skin. I just feel that besides the niacinamide, it's not a huge improvement over the normal moisturising lotion, but the price is $22/52ml tube and that's a huge jump from the moisturising lotion which is $15/236ml. If you already have niacinamide in your other products or use a niacinamide serum and you're ok with the texture of the daily moisturising lotion, you don't need this.

Since the beginning of working from home earlier this year, in a stressful job with erratic hours, my skin went nuts, going from very oily to dry, flaky, irritated, and super sensitive. After realising that my skin barrier may have been compromised given the huge changes to my skin, and my usual active ingredients only making things worse, I decided to try CeraVe for the first time and i am so incredibly glad i did. This moisturiser is very hydrating without being being too heavy or congesting my skin. The ceramides and niacinamide have been working absolute wonders to calm and heal my skin, and I have no issues with flaky skin anymore, my redness and sensitivity are greatly reduced, and it is so affordable.

This nighttime moisteriser is a product for dry skin that is absolutely value for money, only a small amount is needed to wake up with soft supple skin. It is fragrance free and contains Ceremides which work to moisterise skin without any greasy film left on your skin. It penetrates deep into my skin and I see instant results in the morning. An absolute winner for any time of year.

I love Cerave Lotion! It has been the latest addition to my skincare routine, even replacing my quite expensive products! This is so affordable and works wonders. I apply it morning and night after washing my face. The lotion stays on the skin as a barrier for a few minutes and then suddenly absorbs, leaving my skin looking dewy, smooth and youthful. I have quite sensitive skin and this does not irritate it at all. I highly recommend this to anyone.

I have been using this moisturiser in evening for the last few weeks, it isn't a rich moisturiser (it is very light) but my skin has been incredibly soft and blemish free!

This product is ok, but honestly, not for me. Whilst I found it hydrating and made my skin soft, I prefer a richer night cream

This moisturiser is my favourite! I have been putting it on everynight before bed and i wake up in the morning with my skin feeling hydrated and fresh. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a night cream.

I do enjoy a good night cream so I was excited to test this one out with it’s unique ingredients and research to back up the results. I was not disappointed! My skin feels fresher, dewier and well nourished overnight. Even after 8 hrs with my head on the pillow I still have a nice glow when I wake up. I did find it hard to distinguish between the AM and the PM moisturisers because the label on the packaging has such small font but all up a solid night cream. Would recommend!

This is my new favourite product. I put this on right before bed and wake up with soft dewy skin. My skin looks refreshed and rejuvenated, bringing back a youthful glow. It is so lightweight and fresh on my skin, it feels amazing. And for an added bonus, it is perfect for my extremely sensitive skin - not once did I suffer from an annoying breakout from this product. I will be highly recommending this product to all my friends and family.

A really moisturising but light night cream. It soaks in quickly and I woke up each morning with a glowing complexion. It helped calm my redness and I feel like it's helped reduce some of the finer lines on my face. A really great, cost effective night cream.

This is my favourite night cream of all time! One of the best creams I have used. When applying this product it just melts into my skin and gives it the hydration it needs without being overly heavy. I recommend this product to everyone. I will definitely repurchasing this when I am done with this one

I live for this product, this is the first 'night cream' that my face has tolerated and loved without breaking out or coming out in a super sexy rash. The lotion is super light and turns into an almost water on your skin so it doesn't feel heavy or clammy as you go to sleep. This has joined the ranks of my must haves, which is very hard to do, having worked in beauty for for years I am particular about what i put on my skin and what i choose to repurchase. But this has 100% made the cut! if i could bathe in it I would.

So happy more of the Cerave range is landing in Australia, this has been such a favourite and coveted brand overseas and I’m so happy to of gotten to trial this. Part of the reason why I’m such a big fan of the brand is that almost all it’s products will have active ingredients such as ceramides, niacinamide and hyaluronic acid it them, making them great multitaskers and works extra hard for your skin. Great if you’re someone who wants a simple routine, or makes it easy to layer your actives. Whilst all being fragrance free! This lotion is beautiful and light, even though it says for pm, it’s beautiful to use in the morning as well especially in summer when you want something a bit lighter that absorbs quickly. I use a 2% retinoid in my routine which can make skin prone to drying, but using this alone over my serum, I haven’t had any dry patches come up on my skin, and I generally have dry to normal skin type. So I was really impressed! Overall, I love this product!

When I first received this PM moisturiser I was so excited! It had a great feel when I tested it on my hand and I was sure this was going to be a great match for my skin. Unfortunately, after a few days of trying it I found my skin to be really dry. I often found myself breaking out into a sweat on my face because the moisturiser wasn't penetrating my skin and just sitting on top. My skin reached a point of such dehydration that it was red and blotchy, at which point I ceased using the product.

I've been using this moisturiser for approximately 3 weeks now and I absolutely love it; honestly cannot find fault in the formula for my normal/dry skin. It is amaaaazing!! When used, the moisturiser sinks into the skin very quickly and doesn't feel like you have anything on your face. Minutes after, my skin feels noticeable smoother and more plumped. It's light weight and non-greasy and sits well with the rest of my skincare. The PM moisturiser contains hyaluronic acid and ceramides and serves as a great hydrating moisturiser and hasn't seen to affect my vitamin ABC products. Overall an absolutely gem of a product and I will definitely be repurchasing.

CeraVe might just be my new favourite skincare brand! This product is a hidden gem, ever since I've been using this product my skin has never looked better. My redness and breakouts have disappeared leaving my skin looking dewy and youthful. After cleansing with the CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser I use this product right before bed and wake up with amazing results and the more I use this the better my skin looks. I will definitely be getting this lotion again!
