CeraVe Blemish Cleanser

I purchased this cleanser after my sister recommended it to me. I have combination skin which does get a little oily throughout the day and I get the occasional pimple on my chin or jaw and blackheads on my nose and cheeks. This cleanser is gentle and doesn't dry my skin out. It's clear in colour and has no fragrance. I feel like it has kept my pimples away and also my skin doesn't seems to get so oily in the afternoons. I use this cleanser morning and night. I love the pump bottle it comes in too. I definitely recommend this cleanser to anyone with pimples and combination/oily skin because it gives a thorough clean and leaves my skin feeling soft. Doesn't strip skin at all.

I was lucky enough to trial this product as part of the beauty review crew and was very impressed with the results! I expected to not like this product as niacinamide and my skin seem to have a love hate relationship with each other but I was pleasantly surprised my skin had no adverse reaction and felt properly clean without that tight, stripped feeling and soft. A little goes a long way with this product, no overbearing scent and a great price point all make this something I will definitely repurchase in the future!

I was selected to trial this product, the “blemish control” collection from Cerave and I have to say this cleanser did help reduce the oiliness in my skin and helped smooth out the bumpiness I had. I also have trouble with getting rid of the blackheads on my nose however when massaging this cleanser in my nose area it helped lift the blackhead up leaving a smoother surface on my nose which i found so gross but refreshing. My skin is acne prone skin and it did a bit of change to it. I have used the Hydrating cleanser from Cerave before and that just cleaned my skin like any other cleanser however the Blemish cleanser gave my skin a little extra OOMPH!! i would recommend this product to my brother who has a very similar skin type to me & definitely will buy this again.

Love this CeraVe Blemish Cleanser. This blemish cleanser was really nice and foamed up just enough. The only thing is that I didn’t like is that it easily got into my eyes and really stung. It has hardly any odour which is good an was amazing for my sensitive skin. I have a reduced amount of blemishes and smaller pores which is great! I would recommend this as a cheap option but isn’t as good as its more expensive counterparts. I would buy this again for the cheap price when I can’t afford to buy the latter. This is good for the price of the cleanser

Cerave has been my go to cleanser brand for years now, and the oil to foam cleanser is my staple daily cleanser, so I was rather keen to give this a try! I currently use the SA smoothing cleanser about once a week or so, or whenever I feel a pimple coming up, and this Blemish Cleanser, which is a gel to foam cleanser is similar to that but with a higher dose of salicylic acid. As with all other Cerave cleansers, this one is lovely and gentle on the skin. I do find the addition of salicylic acid keeps the acne at bay esp if used early on! Would definitely recommend for those needing a bit of help controlling their acne!

I have acne-prone skin and the CeraVe Blemish Cleanser is now my go to cleanser. The price point for this cleanser is in line with other drugstore cleansers. The product size is also a bang for your buck. I love that this product has salicylic acid, which is a game changer for me. I was lucky enough to trial this product and after 5 weeks of consecutive days of using this cleanser and what can I say; I love it. This cleanser foams up quite well and lathering it on my face goes on quite easily as well. I found it cleanses my face without it feeling stripped dry of all my facial skin oil. I have also noticed that the amount of breakouts I have has reduced slightly and when I had my breakouts; I also notice that the healing time is much quicker roughly found that it took my skin to clear up in 2 weeks. Which is really quick for my skin. I definitely would recommend this cleanser to anyone that has acne-prone skin.

I have been using this nightly everyday as my cleanser after removing my makeup. Doesnt seem to strip the skin and helps to a degree in managing acne. I would not say it is life changing but for the price I would recommend trying it. I have completed the trial period and still use it regularly. Ance has been some what managed but also depends on the cause of acne eg. Hormonal etc Is great addition to every day skincare to help the maintenance of acne but would work best with other active ingredients that fight blemishes

I really liked this product. It is a great cleanser as a stand alone or as part of a two step cleanse for oiler/heavier makeup removal. It is gentle and fragrance free and is a decent size. Since using it (approx 3 times a week) in conjunction with the blemish gel my skin feels smoother and my breakouts are not as severe/angry. I am a fan of lathering cleaners and this one does that. Pros Fragrance free, uses salicylic acid and has ceramides. Good size too. Cons Salicylic acid may not work for everyone, feels like you need a moisturiser after use and this may not work for sensitive skin

I received this product in exchange for an honest review. I have sensitive, acne prone skin so this product seemed perfect for me! I have used and thoroughly enjoyed CeraVe products in the past, however I don't think this product is for me. Pros: non fragranced, doesn't feel sticky, pump bottle is very handy, budget friendly, good amount of product, small amount goes quite far. Cons: stings eyes, broke me out, feels a little too stripping on my sensitive skin, requires a double cleansing. If you have skin that can withstand harsh chemicals/products, this might work just fine but unfortunately for me it isn't quite what I'm looking for.

I had the pleasure of trailing CeraVe Blemish Cleanser for 3 weeks. Heres how I found it; CeraVe Blemish Cleanser is a gel-to-foam cleanser featuring 2% Salicylic Acid (amazing for skin) to help unclog pores and visibly reduce blemishes. The formulation includes purifying clay to help reduce oiliness without causing dryness and discomfort and Niacinamide, to minimise blemishes. Now, I do suffer from adult acne and the occasional cystic acne. I’ve tried absolutely everything on the market including skin treatments. After using this cleanser I noticed a minimise in the amount of blemishes I get. It did help reduce the redness and the smaller blemishes didn’t hurt when rinsing. It didn’t completely reduce but a small reduction was good enough for me! However it also helped with the oiliness I experience down my T zone. This cleanser is easy to use and does do what the product claims to do. It’s great at maintaining, treating and removing bacteria whilst leaving the skin feeling beautiful and refreshed. I think this product is great for smaller blemishes, larger pores and to maintain oil control, however as I do have cystic acne, I didn’t see much notice in that. Redness was reduce but didn’t see it go like the small blemishes. So it definitely has its benefits and misses at the same time. It’s still a fantastic product and definitely something I’d see myself purchasing again.

I have really sensitive skin and usually react to products like this so used it every second day for the first week but was able to use daily after that leaves skin feeling clean and fresh but not stripped like other blemish products do. Skin remains hydrated and not dry, red or blotchy. Overall tone improved also. Effect during a hormonal breakout. Value for money. A little goes a long way. Not heavy fragrance. Would recomend for sensitive blemish prone skin. Easy to incorporate into daily routine

I’ve used most of the products from the CeraVe range. Personally, the CeraVe Blemish Cleanser wasn’t a game changer for me - I found it to be quite similar to the CeraVe Foaming Cleanser. I regularly use CeraVe Cleansers as part of my skincare routine, particularly when I am breaking out. Therefore, I liked that I could use this product daily and it was a smooth introduction to my skincare routine! Like most CeraVe cleaners, I did notice that this cleanser didn’t make my skin feel dry, it didn’t strip away the natural oils and it didn’t irritate my skin after use. I also noticed that it didn’t really reduce my blackheads. Therefore, I would need to use this product for another month or two, to better notice the differences that the ingredients claim to provide. Overall, good product and would recommend to friends and family!

This cleanser has really made my skin flourish, i've had many compliments over the past few weeks about how clear my skin is looking. Its visibly reduced my open pores and reduced breakouts resulting in clearer and brighter looking skin. Using this product too frequently did cause a bit of redness. I was using every day when I found a bit of redness, after switching to using every other day its been fine since. Would highly recommend this product to anyone with mild breakouts and blackheads. Great product overall and great price point too.

I normally use the cerave oily skin cleanser so this wasn’t a massive change for my skin, i noticed improvements in my redness and loved that i could use it everyday with no irritation whatsoever. In the mornings I follow it up with a moisturiser and sunscreen and at night i used the matching gel. This was gentle enough for daily use, yet still potent enough to work for my skin. I would reccoment this for people with oily/breakout prone/ redness skin. I can’t say whether it’s good for dry skin as I only have oily skin

The cleanser is a lovely, smooth consistency and feels beautiful going on the skin. It also lathers beautifully on the skin. It doesn’t strip the skin like many other blemish control cleansers, did not sting and did not strip my skin or dry it out. I found the texture of my skin significantly improved with daily use of the cleanser, and blemishes have reduced. It is also wonderful for taking make up off at the end of the day. Would definitely recommend this cleanser to anyone that has issues with blemishes.

I am combination-oily and this worked well with my skin. My skin has improved, it is much more smooth and blemishes are minimised. Even marks that I had are minimised. Didn't do much for pores, mainly breakouts. Good if you have regular breakouts. No stinging at all so i think should be fine for sensative skin. I also used this on my back as i suffer from some back acne and this improved my skin there also. Great for the price and quantity you get. You dont need much at all as it latherd up quite well.
