BYS Velvet Lipstick

I have the shades Dark Night and Berry Sweet and it's absolutely fantastic! With Dark Night, you do have to apply a couple of layers before you can't see your natural lip colour through it, but it dries very quickly so it isn't a problem. This lipstick generally lasts me at least half of the day, even through meals. I can eat an entire double quarter pounder without my lipstick becoming a complete wreck. Also there is no scent and the lipstick feels fine on, you forget it's even there. My main criticism however would be the cracking from the shade Dark Night, sometimes when i wear this shade especially the lipstick cracks a bit and exposes my natural lips. This can be easily fixed with reapplication but it's still mildly frustrating. I also wouldn't recommend layering Berry Sweet more than 2-3 times as it begins to get patchy. Overall an amazing product especially for the price.

I had this lipstick in a nude shade and it was horrible. The lipstick smelt like playdough and was super runny. The lipstick would not stay on my lips and kept sliding off onto my teeth. I felt uncomfortable and embarrassed wearing this lipstick. I tried to give it to my family members and see if it worked any better for them but they got the same results.

I have this in Red Wine which is a strong wine colour and definitely not a colour I would wear normally but colour aside it is a very good lip colour - extremely highly pigmented with a matte finish.  It doesn't dry my lips out but it doesn't add any moisture either so a lip balm over the top of this, or a lip primer underneath is my best tip for using this.  I will look out for this product in a favourite colour of mine (more neutral) and buy it because I am impressed with it's finish and strength in colour plus it has great staying power!  It has quite a big range of colours and I like that. There is no scent to this and the instant I put it on I feel like "Pow!  I'm ready to go!".  It does give me a lift in spirits!  The container is basic and there is a long foam tipped applicator inside attached to the lid which is a screw-on lid.  The lid is matte black and goes with the type of texture this product has on my lips.  I think it's excellent value for money.  

This is one of those correct bargain beauty buy, especially if you are not keen on those other lipsticks that latch onto your delicate lips and suck the moisture right out.   Yes indeed these are as soft as velvet and the colours offered are all gorgeous which are also available in multi-packs for convenience and variety.  My favourite shade is "Rosewood"  which appears ravishing on my dull small lips. As I rub my lips together it feels as good as it looks in the mirror. It contains an ultra-creamy texture and the smooth formula glides onto the lips smoothly and gives off an attractive natural colour. Comes with a long-lasting formula which always sets to a perfect finish and shine.The BYS Velvet delivers more pout and volume to my lips.   Another important thing for me is the applicator. This one fits my lips perfectly providing even application without bleeding out or clugging up into the corners of the mouth. The BYS Velvet Lipstick is a liquid lipstick has enriching ingredients making lips feel lavish after each use. Feels totally weightless on my lips and the colour pay-off is angelic matt with only one coat.   This plush lipstick lasted through my lunch and my daily coffee's, it certainly has power for its price.
