Biolage Strength Recovery Shampoo

Thank you to the Beautycrew for the chance to trial and review Biolage Strength Recovery Shampoo. I’ve been using this shampoo twice a week for the past month and have mixed thoughts about this product. I love the packaging, the shapely bottle with a flip top lid that isn’t flimsy. The colours used are nice and clean. I love that the formula is vegan and so, cruelty free obviously. I really liked the smell of the shampoo, which scores points in my opinion. This is a cleansing shampoo, but it lathers really well, which I do like….some cleansing shampoos are hard to lather and feel awful to use. After lathering it up and rinsing, I’m always left with matted hair. I hate the way this shampoo leaves my hair when in the shower but my experience of using this with the accompanying conditioner, leaves my scalp feeling clean and my hair, which is usually frizzy, is left feeling really soft to the touch, clean to run my hands through and little to no frizz. So, as I said, mixed feelings. I wish it left my hair feeling softer and less knotty when my hair is wet, in the shower. I think that using the shampoo and conditioner together is a must, they go hand-in-hand. I will wait until I’ve finished the bottles I have before making my decision on whether or not to buy, just to make sure that my hair is still feeling as good as it does now.

I used the the Biolage Strength Recovery Shampoo for four weeks along with the conditioner and the strength recovery treatment. I like this product as my hair is usually frizzy and dry. It was nourishing hair and made it feel very clean shinny and relaxed my frizzy ends. Consistency in the shampoo was great as my hair usually get used the the shampoo and conditioner and you didn’t need too much to get it soapy to help with a good clean. The size is fantastic as I still have over half which is great for cost effectiveness. I highly recommend this product and I will definitely be purchasing again in the future.

I used Biolage strength recovery shampoo for the first time ever and just loved it. It’s very much suitable for my fine wavy hair. I started using it during my pregnancy time and also post pregnancy and can confidently say it’s a very good quality shampoo without a mix of any nasty chemicals or smell. you should just try it and see what it does for you. I achieved smoothing, strengthening, shine, volume and manageability after using this product and will definitely continue using it. I just loved the product

This is the first product I have used from Biolage and it wasn't bad. I have coloured my hair a bit recently and found it to be a little damaged & dry on the ends so this was a perfect trial to help with that. I love the shape & size of the bottle. The shampoo itself doesn't have much of a smell to it and I must admit I do prefer scented as love the feeling of nice fresh smelling hair which I did not get with this. It does lather quite well and not much need and I have noticed my damaged hair is looking much better so definitely happy with that.

Really loved this shampoo. Love the consistency, which lathered easily and spreads without too much effort too. You only need to use a little bit and it goes a long way. I also really like the smell which I found lingered for longer than other shampoos. Just gentle hues and super fresh smelling. It kept my hair looking and feeling fresh and bouncy for a longer time too. Really felt like this was salon quality at home. I am still using it and loving it. Been great for my hair which is often dry and needs some extra TLC. Highly recommend this one.

The Biolage brand can do no wrong! Starting with the first thing you notice, the scent, it’s fresh, light and elevated. After the first hair wash I noticed an instant difference. Since having babies my hair is far more frizzy and dry than it has ever been, but I found this shampoo really tamed the mane. Normally I would never leave my hair to air dry but to see the full effect of the product you need must! My hair felt smooth and sleek, and literally bouncy. Would recommend to anyone and everyone!

Love love love the Biolage Strength Recovery Shampoo! I found that it was really great for my scalp and did not dry my hair out like some shampoos. I have been using the full Biolage Strength Recovery set including the conditioning Creme and the conditioning mask. I have noticed less of my hair has been transferred to my brush when using biolage. My friends have commented how shiny my hair has been too. Vegan, cruelty free and budget friendly. Will definitely buy again, it works a treat! It is a 10/10 from me!

This shampoo may be my new go to one from the shops! It smells amazing, makes my hair soft and healthy and made it feel like I was getting a good deep clean while over drying. I have damaged hair but I found this shampoo instantly revamped my hair and left it feeling softer. After the very first use I found that it left my hair feeling stronger and cleaner. The price of the shampoo is alittle on the high price for my liking, but in saying that I found that I didn't need to wash my hair as much as I do with other shampoos. Which meant it lasted longer. The price is alittle more justifiable this way.

I was gifted the Biolage Strength Recovery Shampoo to trial along with the conditioner and leave in treatment and it was amazing! The shampoo comes in a sleek shape and design and has a very slight fresh scent that is very pleasant. It goes on and lathers beautifully and leaves the hair feeling fresh and clean. I have dry, curly, frizzy hair and have definitely noticed an improvement in the smoothness of my hair and dryness since using the product. It has helped tame it all down and leave my hair feeling so soft.

I've enjoyed using this product so much! Thank you for giving me a chance to trial this combo. I have damaged, thin and frizzy hair. That could be attributed to heat damaged and frequent colouring. Using this shampoo has restored some balance, and given my hair much needed nourishment. My hair feels soft, and not so brittle anymore. I've used a variety of shampoos in the past, but I will be sure to repurchase when I run out. I recommend this to all family and friends looking to restore balance and make your hair feel stronger.

While using this shampoo I've noticed my hair has been healthier and no more breakages. It s soft and more manageable now. When in use with the conditioner and treatment this product has made a big change in my hair. The packaging is nice wish they made them in bigger sizes. Before trialling I had never heard of Biologe, but I am so glad I have now because I am so impressed with this shampoo. I am on a journey with postpartum hair regrowth (or lack thereof!) and so was in desperate need of an all-rounder product that could help on several fronts. Here are the things I loved about it: - My hair felt thicker and so, so soft after using it - Cleans really well without seeming to strip my hair 'too clean' - Definitely kept the oil at bay for longer than my other shampoos - Was so nice to use when blowdrying my hair - Loved the subtle scent, not overbearing at all but I like my hair to smell fresh after shampooing The only minor things (which wouldn't stop me from purchasing when I run out): - my postpartum regrowth near my forehead was frizzy after using but no more than any other product - couldn't see the cruelty-free bunny logo on the bottle but I could have misunderstood that All in all, a fantastic shampoo that I will be purchasing. Love the clean, fresh scent and the way my hair feels full and bouncy after using.

Wow!! Amazing!! This shampoo has helped completely transform my hair from damaged, dull and knotty to soft, silky and shiny! I adore the scent, it lathers without feeling like it’s stripping and washes out very easily. I’ve never had results so quickly from a shampoo! I have been using it conjunction with the conditioner and mask and my hair has never looked or felt better. Highly recommend! I will note though if you’re into fragrance free products, you may find the scent of this a bit overpowering. I personally loved the scent though

I've been using this shampoo at least 3-4 times a week and am enjoying it. The packaging is nice and sturdy, and the flip top lid is secure but not too hard to open. Love the smell of them too! Its not too strong and my hair feels clean and smooth after using. Don’t forget to pair it with the recovery conditioner too,i had noticed my hair is less fuzzy and more stronger now. Normally when i comb my hair there will be a lots of hair falling (at least half of hand full) but now its only little bit now and keep reducing. Definitely recommend it to anyone who need a good shampoo and conditioner, price is ok for the quality that they offer.

Biolage strength recovery shampoo is great, you only need to use a small amount as it foams up heaps. My hair feels soft and clean after using it and it has a pleasant fragrance. My hair is usually quite dry but after using Biolage strength recovery shampoo and Biolage strength recovery conditioner my hair is no longer dry. My hair is easier to manage now and is nice and soft. It's great that you only need to use a small amount of the shampoo. Biolage strength recovery shampoo is great for dry hair.

This shampoo changed my hair from the very first wash. I have hair that tends to get dry but when using the shampoo and conditioner, from Biolage that has fixed the problem. I can now go a few days in-between washes instead of rushing to clean my hair on day two, which is a godsend. The shampoo smooths every fly away and hydrates my split ends with every wash. Since using the product is actually making my hair healthier, it's growing longer faster. When I use it, I feel like at least a year of damage from over drying has been repaired in just one wash.

I loved this shampoo! The Biolage Strength Recovery shampoo is a great product that has a subtle smell, is creamy, you don't need much for a good lather and it leaves your hair feeling soft, clean and shiny. I really like the packaging of this bottle, as it takes up little space and is easy to use in the wet. Great that they are trying to incorporate some recycled plastic too. I used the shampoo along with the two other products from this range and found that my dry, damaged and unhealthy hair dramatically improved! There was less frizz, and the ends were less tangled. I definitely recommend this product to others and repurchase it.

LOVE IT!!! Started using this shampoo thinking it would be just another regular shampoo. Very surprised after the first wash. It is cleansing without being overly harsh. It also doesn’t leave my hair a tangled, knotted mess that takes half a bottle of conditioner and dragging a brush through my hair to get rid of!! It has a pleasant smell and consistency, as well as a small amount goes a long way. As someone with fine curly hair shampoos are often too harsh and drying and always cause far more damage so it is a constant search for a shampoo that cleans but doesn’t damage. Very happy to say I think I may have found it! Highly recommend, and will definitely be purchasing again!

I tried this shampoo as part of a regime with the conditioner and strengthening treatment. This shampoo felt good and smelt great. It did not feel heavy in my hair or built up after use. It’s hard to review the shampoo and conditioner individual effectiveness as I think the best part of the system was the strengthening conditioner that I used once per week. I like that Biolage is environmentally conscious and using recycled plastics. I would use this product again and recommended to others especially with the strengthening conditioner. Resulta may be even better if using the repairing spray which I did not try

I was initially not sure what to expect using this shampoo as I had not used this particular brand previously. I must say that I was very pleased with the result. I have chemically treated hair that is bleached blonde so it needs all the help it can get. This shampoo is excellent for leaving my hair feeling soft and clean without that dry feeling afterwards. I used it in conjunction with the conditioner supplied and the result was very pleasing. My hair feels healthy and hydrated. I also like that a little goes a long way. I will continue to use this for sure.
