Aromatherapy Associates De-Stress Muscle Gel

My job can be quite mentally stressful so anything I can use to relax is always welcome. I also have a lot of appreciation for the benefits of aromatherapy and believe it can enhance the relaxation experience and enhance mindfulness, that is such an important part of de-stressing. A  gel that aids both these things –aromatherapy and relaxation – while it sooths and warms tired, stiff muscles is a perfect combination and I found this gel really beneficial. It was a part of my wind down after  a Zumba or Pilates class, especially for stretched quads or sore feet, and also helpful after a hard day at work. I love the smell of lavender and rosemary, two of my favourite scents, together in this gel. Lavender is a calming aid to sleep, while rosemary is fresh and envigorating, and the hint of pine also adds to the spa feel, perfect for pre-bed pampering. I would definitely recommend this gel,even though it is expensive. Perhaps a hint dropped for a nice Mother’s Day gift? 

I am a person who works in the beauty industry as a beauty therapist, therefore i work a lot on my hands and feet and back. I tried this product a few times and am quite satisfied with it. It gives a cooling sensation when you apply it onto my body and massage it into my skin. This product is best for those who constantly work long hours, stand on their feet all day or even have any pains and aches around their bodys, both female and males are able to use this product. The ingredients in this product helps to soothe, cool, relieve and treat aches. The scent is more of a minty scent,  more like eucalyptus scent. I would use this about 3-5 times a week depending on my body and aches. Not only will it help detoxify the skin, relieve stress and release tension but it helps to relax the muscles. Everyone must try this product at least once ! I can guarentee you that you'd love this product & it would ve worth it !

I've always been a believer in the benefits of natural ingredients and will try every natural product I can before anything chemical. In saying that,I still found it a little hard to believe that this little tube of herbal goodness could really live up to its claims of being able to "instantly cool and soothe muscle aches and pains". I had quite a sore shoulder that had been persistently annoying me for a few days when I remembered this product was sitting in my bag. I was more than happy to give it a try and see if it would help but of course-I wasn't expecting an instant miracle. The product comes in an easy to dispense plastic tube and is a cloudy gel texture. The scent is absolutely amazing and quite relaxing by itself with the calming lavender being the strongest aroma I could detect. I massaged a generous amount onto my sore shoulder..... and I have never in my life been so impressed with a product! It was magic! The ache I had been dealing with for 2 or 3 days was gone in an instant! I'm not one to really talk much about products I use but I went into the next room and straight away raved excitedly about this heavenly scented little magicworking tube to my partner . I have  proceeded to tell every single person in my life about it since. It really IS that good. It even helps with headaches if you rub a little on the back of your neck. I will definitely be buying this again. Id recommend this for anyone who wants a natural soothing remedy for aches and pains. It truly works!

As someone who is on their feet a lot I'm always on the lookout for anything to relieve sore feet and aching muscles. When I came across this product whilst shopping I knew I had to try it! It comes in a 150ml white tube and lovely deep blue/purple box that is very eye catching. The formula itself has a light gel consistency and has a rich aroma. It contains lavender, rosemary, ginger and black pepper. It's a nice change from the usual menthol and peppermint fragrance that muscle gels come in. It initially feels cool on contact with the skin but then has a tingly, warm feeling as it is massaged in and boosts circulation. It really has a soothing, de-stressing effect. The essential oils give that luxury spa feel and have mood boosting qualities. I think this gel would also be great after a long haul flight to freshen and revive circulation. I have been very impressed with the results I've experienced and will be purchasing this De-Stress Muscle Gel again, it is a little tube of magic! It's the first Aromatherapy Associates product I have tried and I would love to try the rest of their range. I think it would also make a great gift for anyone who likes massages (who doesn't?) or anyone who is on their feet all day.
