Tradition dictates that as the weather cools down so do our hair colour choices. Think: strands in shades of jet black and moody-hued brunette.

But this season we’re looking to reinvent the winter hair colour wheel with a hue so cool it’s ice cold. Introducing: the 'icy platinum blonde' hair trend.

A fresh, chic way to wear blonde that's ideal for the icier months, platinum is the perfect way to make your features pop this winter.

But considering brassiness and bright platinum hair don't go together (like, at all), you'll want to make sure you've got the right products on your side before making the shade switch.
