'Perfect Match' winner Georgia Hassarati swears by this affordable cult-favourite perfume
Georgia Hassarati caught our attention when she made her bikini-clad debut on season three of Netflix’s controversial dating show Too Hot To Handle — she broke a few hearts and even stole a few (expensive) kisses when season three aired.
More recently, the 27-year-old Brisbanite returned to Netflix alongside a ragtag cast of past Netflix reality stars in Perfect Match, appearing as one of the season’s wild card cast members, and subsequent winner.
Unsurprisingly, the model and social media influencer has garnered a lot of attention for her makeup; while she doesn’t rate her makeup skills, she likes to use cult-favourites such as Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter ($65 at Charlotte Tilbury), NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer ($51 at MECCA), and Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Light Wand ($60 at Charlotte Tilbury) to help her along.
But when one of her TikTok followers asked her what perfume she wears, we have to admit we were surprised to hear her answer.
“I’ve got this question a lot recently,” she admitted. “So I’m gonna put you guys on.”
“This is a fresh girl scent,” she said as she showed off the first spritz. “It’s from Zara, it’s pretty affordable, it smells really nice — it’s called Water Lily Tea Dress ($55.95 at Zara — waitlist only).”
“Olga [Bednarska]... from Too Hot To Handle season 3 — the show I was on — Olga showed me this and I was obsessed with it,” she shared. “I love it, it just smells so clean and fresh.”
Hassarati and Bednarska aren’t the only ones in love with the fresh scent either; the Internet has dubbed it a convincing Byredo Gypsy water dupe, and even Jo Malone has publicly mused on the perfume. In her words: “soft jazz music plays in the background, a picnic on the lawn, the gentle breeze caresses a vintage tea dress.” Poetic.
Unfortunately, given the fragrance’s popularity, you’ll need to add your name to a waitlist if you want to cop a bottle of the stuff. But if you can’t wait we suggest taking advantage of Zara’s sale and snagging the Water Lily Tea Dress Aromatic Candle (was $45.95 now $19.95 at Zara) instead.
If you’re disappointed because you really, really wanted to smell like Hassarati (bit weird, but okay), there’s another perfume she rates too (plus, it’s got her sister’s co-sign) — Kayali Vanilla ($185 at Sephora).
“It’s like a vanilla scent, but like, next level,” explained Hassarati. “It has vanilla, orchid, tonka absolute, brown sugar, amber, woods and musk, and it’s like, musky and sexy,” she went on to say before spritzing herself in slow motion.
