Celebrity chef Nigella Lawson credits this $7 mascara for her juicy lashes
“Long, long lashes and, seemingly, many more of them”
Celebrity chef Nigella Lawson has long been established as a household name around the world thanks to her wildly successful cookbooks and TV show.
Though she’s famed for her culinary prowess, it’s no secret that she’s also STUNNING.
And now it seems she’s serving up not just her celebrated recipes but her beauty secrets, too!
While writing as a guest columnist for The Times UK’s beauty column, Nigella dished out advice on all her fave beauty buys including one particular mascara that she credits for giving her “long, long lashes and, seemingly, many more of them”.
Okay, we are listening, Nigella. Spill the tea.
The product in question is none other than Essence’s Lash Princess False Lash Effect Mascara.
Amazingly, it retails for a total bargain-basement-worthy price of just $7 at Priceline. In fact, the rock bottom price is part of the reason Nigella thinks it works so well.
“In my experience, cheaper mascaras tend to be better than expensive ones, and I have come to learn that the mascara that teenage girls use (look at them, they are serious about lashwork) is the best mascara,” wrote Nigella.
“It doesn't smudge or flake, and I wouldn't be without it.”
Turns out Nigella isn’t the first person to wax lyrical about this mascara either – it’s got a formidable cult following online.
If you’re looking for wallet-friendly beauty buys, check out this best-selling serum – it costs less than $10!
