Margot Robbie and Cara Delevingne’s best Suicide Squad beauty looks
Our favourite looks from the dynamic duo
Margot Robbie and Cara Delevingne have had a whirlwind two weeks promoting their latest film, Suicide Squad. The pair, along with the rest of the cast, have been busy going from interview to press junket to red carpet, which meant a lot of great beauty looks and inspiration in a short amount of time.
Margot Robbie has quickly become one of the world’s most loved Hollywood glamour girls, and with the range of stunning hair and makeup looks she’s showcased on the press tour, it’s not hard to guess why.
Here are our top three favourite looks from the Aussie:
Textured double braid
At the Suicide Squad press conference Margot teamed chic, natural makeup created by Pati Dubroff with a messy double braid. Renato Campora was the celebrity hairstylist responsible for the twisted and textured look.
Statement lips
At the New York premiere of the film, Margot switched to a more laidback hairstyle, throwing her locks into low-knotted bun (also created by hair whiz Renato Campora). Her makeup artist Pati Dubroff was then tasked to amp up the drama by pairing a barely-there eye look with a dark berry lip.
Lazy girl’s hairdo
Margot made all lazy girl hair dreams come true at the London premiere as Renato Campora styled her hair into a romantic low slung plait that we think even the biggest hair newbie could recreate. To match the laidback ‘do, Margot went for a natural makeup look with eye-opening mascara, just a hint of green eyeshadow on her lids and a pinky-nude lipstick.
Throughout the tour Cara Delevingne has also wowed us with a range of beauty looks that included her new textured lob, edgy blue winged liner and tight milkmaid braids.
And whilst we’re big fans of those looks, our favourite looks from the model turned actress were from Comic-Con and the New York and London Premiere’s.
Sun-kissed glow
Whilst promoting Suicide Squad and Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, Cara unveiled her new shorter hairstyle that was softly highlighted on top. The lighter shades were complemented and emphasised with her bronzed complexion and simple yet glowing makeup look created by makeup artist Molly Stern.
Vintage waves
At the New York premiere Cara managed to pull off breaking a traditional beauty rule by teaming a statement red lip with an intense smoky eye at the same time. Our favourite part of the look however was Cara’s vintage waves that just brushed her shoulders. The look was very reminiscent of Old Hollywood glamour, made edgy with the smouldering addition of a metallic smoky eye.
The perfect smoky eye
Cara’s most recent red carpet appearance was at the London premiere of Suicide Squad where she stunned with another smoky eye (this time darker and more sultry) and a nude lip created by celebrity makeup artist Lisa Eldridge. Her hair was then styled by George Northwood into loose waves that framed her face for a textured and fuss-free soft finish.
