The lowdown

Here’s what the Review Crew® loved about the Manicare® Salon Magnifying Pore Vacuum and Manicare® Salon Thermal Sonic Cleanser.

How soft it made their skin feel: A number of reviewers said they loved how soft their skin felt after using the tools. The pore vacuum and the sonic cleanser both made light work of removing build-up and dirt from pores, while simultaneously gently exfoliating skin for a smoother, softer and more refined appearance.

The clarity of their complexion after using the tools: A few of our members said they were cynical about the efficacy of pore vacuums and sonic cleansers, but after trialling the tools they felt like their complexion had been missing the deep, pore-cleansing clean these two gave.

The app-optimised camera setting: The coolest part of using the tools, according to trialists, had to be the app-optimised camera settings, which allowed reviewers to get up close and personal with the contents of their pores.

“The [Manicare® Salon Magnifying Pore Vacuum] is a fantastic little tool… It comes with 4 nozzles so that there is something for everyone, but I personally loved the Oval nozzle for the T-zone and also the Microdermabrasion nozzle to clean up the dead skin cells on my face…. There is an app you can download so that you can view a magnified version of your skin on your phone while you are using the tool. This is great so that you can see where your problem areas are, and you can even record or take photos while doing it… I was actually a bit mind-blown at the outcome of using this Pore Vacuum - the amount of oil and cells that were left around the rim of the sucker after use was shocking... and also really really satisfying. My skin is much softer and feels much cleaner after using it.”

“Super cool!! The [Manicare® Salon Magnifying Pore Vacuum] is super compact, lightweight and really easy to use. It comes with 4 different attachments (3 different sizes/shapes & one textured for extra exfoliation) so it’s super versatile to your needs. The camera is so cool, I have never seen anything else like this and it was really interesting to use. I had some trouble with the app connecting initially but eventually was able to work it out. Definitely read the instructions before use as it is very powerful on the high setting. I used this at night as directed as my skin was a little pink afterwards but that was gone by morning. Overall my skin feels super soft & looks really clear.”

“I absolutely love this little purple pocket rocket! I never believed the hype of sonic cleansers until I tried this [Manicare® Salon Thermal Sonic Cleanser], I am officially converted! It's made a huge difference in how clean my skin feels, I will never stop using it! I can't believe the difference I've seen in my skin since I started using it. It's also waterproof, so perfect to be used in the shower and the charge lasts ages. It has adjustable vibration levels and can also be put onto a heated mode which is handy. “I was so excited to receive the Manicure Salon Thermal Sonic Cleanser. After having a baby and being 5 months postpartum in lockdown, I really haven't had the chance to have a facial or spa-day so this came at the absolute perfect time.
