5 Victoria’s Secret Angels share their ‘can’t live without’ products

As the most famous fashion show of the year looms, those walking the Victoria’s Secret runway are all anyone can talk about. So when Elle spoke to five of the most familiar faces associated with the lingerie brand about the products they can’t live without and the beauty tips they swear by, we were happy to learn a thing or two.

Karlie Kloss

The American model’s most crucial tip is to remove makeup before exercising; “I get breakouts when I wear makeup to exercise, so I clean my face before and after I workout.” And keeping with the theme of luminous skin, Karlie loves Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser, which is known for being sheer and glowy.

Alessandra Ambrosio

As one of the longest running models with Angel status, the Brazilian beauty has picked up a few tips in her time. Her top beauty tip is “to drink a lot of water, use SPF and eat antioxidant rich foods” (check out our picks for the most nutrient dense foods you could be eating). Her must-have makeup product is Charlotte Tilbury Beach Stick, “[it’s] perfect for lip and cheek and it gives you [a] healthy youthful glow”.

Joan Smalls 

The Puerto Rican model revealed that moisturising is the secret to her flawless skin, and credits mixing up her exercise routine to keeping her in amazing shape. “I mix boxing with cardio and Pilates. If I am busy, I’ll try to sneak at least 30 minutes or try to workout every other day.” In keeping with her theme of moisture, Joan swears by mixing Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair with Estée Lauder Resilience Lift Firming/Sculpting Face and Neck Lotion Broad Spectrum SPF 15.

Jourdan Dunn

Turns out the English model loves radiance as much as the next Angel. Her favourite product combination is a mix of Burberry Fresh Glow Luminous Fluid Base with her foundation, and she also uses Sisley Radiant Glow Express Mask “twice a week to make my skin look really fresh and radiant.”

Sara Sampaio

The Portuguese model reveals she can’t get enough of highlighter. “Highlighter is definitely the key to brighten your face when you don’t want to lose time doing your makeup,” the beauty said. The products she swears by include Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream, “I love the consistency, it’s not oily but really gives you great moisture,” Moroccan Oil Treatment for her hair and NARS Matte Velvet Lip Pencil in Mysterious Red.
