When a celeb collaborates with a beauty brand, they generally release a tightly-curated selection of limited edition products that leave us wanting more. But it seems Jennifer Lopez is not one to do things by the book, and in her just-announced collaboration with Polish beauty brand Inglot, she’s bringing out not a handful of beauty products, but more like a bucket-load of them.
70 to be exact.
If we could wish for just one product from the collection, we can’t go past something that will help us replicate J.Lo’s signature bronzed glow. And it seems we’re not alone: in an interview with WWD, Jennifer Lopez said of her Inglot collection, “It is something I have been wanting to do for a very long time. A makeup line seemed like a natural progression since people are always asking about the products I use and how I get the glow to my skin.”
“I really wanted to make it representative of what I would like, what I would use, from the colour but also the quality,” she added.
According to Allure, there will indeed be a bronzer. It's called Boogie Down Bronze and is embossed with the singer's initials. The formula itself is velvety smooth, finely-milled for flawless blending and is completely matte with no shimmer whatsoever. (So that’s her secret!). The shade is a blend of cool and warm tones, so we’re guessing it should be pretty universally flattering on most skin tones.
But like we said, there are 70 pieces in total in this collection, so it’s not just her bronzer you’ll want to get your hands on. J.Lo’s range will also include lipsticks, mascara, eyelashes, blush, eyeshadows and nail polishes.
Everything has been hand-picked by Jennifer and according to WWD, we can expect the entire collection to revolve around shades of nude, gold and shimmer. Basically, it’s an entire collection dedicating to glowing, and we are totally on board.
While unlikely a factor when it comes to stocking her own makeup kit, J.Lo also mentioned to WWD that “The price point was very important to me, which is why I chose to partner with Inglot. We can create great quality products that are affordable”. Apparently we’re talking starting prices as low as US$8.50 and nothing over US$49.
The range is set to launch on April 26, which it not far away so start putting together your curated wish list – because choosing just a few faves from a 70-product line-up is no easy feat for makeup addicts like us. Good thing the range is so affordable.
We can confirm you can buy all the Jennifer Lopez x Inglot products here in Australia (WOOHOO!) at Inglot stores around the country and view the entire collection once it launches over at jenniferlopezinglot.com.
