Olivia Wilde signs with a new beauty brand

In recent months we’ve seen Maria Borges and Elle Fanning sign as the newest faces of beauty giant L’Oréal Paris. We’ve seen Reese Witherspoon announced as the ‘Storyteller-in-Chief’ for cult skin care brand Elizabeth Arden, and most recently Olivia Wilde has revealed that she will be the newest ambassador and chief brand activist for natural beauty brand, True Botanicals.

The brand’s official Instagram account shared this image, announcing the partnership with Olivia, along with the caption: “We are thrilled to announce that award-winning actress, director, producer and social activist Olivia Wilde has joined our team as Chief Brand Activist. Olivia has been a longtime fan of True Botanicals and shares our absolute dedication to product safety, transparency and sustainability. Together, we will work to raise the bar and create real change in the beauty industry! #truebotanicals #oliviawilde”

Olivia is the first celebrity ambassador for the Californian based brand (don’t worry, they ship to Australia), and the first celebrity to officially sign with a natural beauty company. The brand’s core values are safe, potent and proven, boasting no toxins ever, and they’re committed to delivering products featuring the most potent ingredients in nature.

Of her interesting new title, Olivia told WWD: “We sort of made it up. I’m thrilled to be part of the company as an advocate and help spread the word about the important mission they’re on… learning about the research behind the need for these [non-toxic] products, learning about clinical trials, [or becoming involved in the actual product development]. I’m really eager to learn more about what consumers are looking for.”
