How Lana Condor preps her skin for the red carpet
You might be convinced that Neutrogena ambassador Lana Condor has a circus of professional beautifiers to keep her looking red carpet-ready at all times. But you’d be wrong, because as she revealed in a recent interview with The Zoe Report, the To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before actress is actually so serious about her self-care and skin care routines that she insists on being the one to implicate any necessary primping and preening before a big event.
Of course, the independent queen is a big fan of a classic Neutrogena cleanser (Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash to be precise), but she’s also not afraid of acting as her own facialist, opting to self-administer a toning facial massage, encouraging lymphatic drainage and sculpting her face. Her weapons of choice, you ask? Condor loves a classic gua sha, but isn’t afraid to introduce trendier tools into her routine, like an ice roller for depuffing skin or a NUFace microcurrent device for snatching that jawline and those cheekbones.
The cherry on the top of her pre-red carpet routine is a hydrating sheet mask for adding moisture and glow back into her skin. However, her makeup artist Melissa Hernandez has been known to set her makeup with the Neutrogena Healthy Skin Radiant Setting Spray to amp up the actress’ radiant complexion even more.
Condor gave it quite the ringing endorsement: “We used it to further enhance healthy, healthy skin [and] it performed really well under the lights of the carpet.” Unfortunately, the radiance-enhancing, peptide-infused spray isn’t available down under yet (we’ll be waiting with bated breath for the day she drops) but we can recommend these glow-inducing picks instead; Synergie Skin EnvIroshield, Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Miracle Hydrating Mist, and Ultraceuticals Ultra Hydrating Skin Mist.
Condor's not the only celeb with a hectic skin care routine. Here's how to get glowy, gorgeous skin like Hailey Bieber.

Since then, her keen interest in fashion and beauty has landed her gigs as a Digital Content Producer and Beauty Editor with titles like Girlfriend, Refinery29, BEAUTYcrew and beautyheaven. She loves the way seemingly innocuous topics like skin care and style have the ability to put a smile on people’s faces or make them think about themselves a little differently. A big believer in self love and experimentation, Briar has made a point of becoming the Australian beauty industry’s unofficial guinea pig for unusual treatments and daring hair trends. When she’s not testing out the latest beauty launches, Briar is big on broadening her horizons, mostly in the form of food but she’s also partial to travelling to new destinations both near and far (and of course, allocating an extra bag to bring their best beauty offerings home with her).
