11 times Lady Gaga simultaneously refreshed our palettes and left us gagged

This angular dramatic eye makeup has become somewhat of a signature for Gaga, but the 35-year-old has certainly leaned into the ‘Dolce Vita’ cat eye synonymous with Italian starlets of old more so while promoting the House Of Gucci.

Excellent smokey eye aside, can we please talk about this sleek take on a half-up half-down hairstyle? Our relatives may or may not have to endure us recreating this (as well as Gaga’s diva attitude) this Christmas. Sorry, not sorry.

Well, now that we’ve shown an adequate amount of respect for the performance of a lifetime (who else would writhe around on the Met Gala red carpet with such wild abandon?) –  let’s talk about those damn lashes. 3D, textured and flecked with touches of gold and silver, if Lady Gaga hadn’t debunked that myth that she was a man years ago, we’d half be convinced she was channeling one of our favourite RPDR queens.
